This school is the most fake school. There are fake teachers, friends and staff members. Dont put your child in this school. Everything is breaking down and these people dont care. The good teachers already left, and have been replaced. Well except the math teachers. All of them are and were horrible. This school is the worst punishment you could give your child

Maybe this school is not the better place to go, but everyone know itch other and the teachers are very friendly.They have a awesome French track and we learn well. I didnt saw bulli on that school for almost 2years.I can understand the bad commentary but they exaggerating.

If I can give this school no stars that would be even better. They are thieves and the faculty is a complete mess. They are also rude. When it comes to learning, forget it!!! School is very dirty, smells awful and all they want is money, money, money, money, money, money ,money, money, money, money, money, money, money. I wouldnt recommend this school to anybody. This was not a learning experience. This was an absolute health hazard. Dont get sold with the french immersion crap. Many of the french track students hate it too!!!!! Ill leave it to that. So many other problems with this school. They say they are moving to a new building. Same faculty, staff, students = what makes isb as it is today. Regret spending my high school years and graduating here! Complete disaster for a learning environment.

I came to this school two - three years ago, and Ive learned so much. Teachers are always there when you need them, they actually listen to you. The class was small so we were all family, and we knew each other very well. Ive met the most kind and hard working people in ISB. Also I think it is very interesting to meet people from around the globe, ISB was full of student coming from all places, so I had the chance to learn Other cultures than mine. I recommend this school.

I checked out this school and a couple of the teachers/administrators. Very disturbing to see that they have an Athletic Director/Basketball Coach with a criminal record for selling/distributing drugs. He was just fired from his position with the City of Davie for theft and for his role in a vicious attack on a youth league coach. At his last two schools of employment, he was terminated for cheating, violating rules and using illegal kids that had already graduated from high school. Doesnt sound like this school screens its employees. When the school administrators were notified of this, they ignored the information. WOW!!

I went to ISB for most of middle school and have to say that I disagree with the exaggerated negative reviews that Ive read. Because of this school, Im bilingual which is something that has opened up doors for me and Im sure it will continue to for the rest of my life. Contrary to what many of the reviews say, I did learn a lot while I was here both in terms of French and the other classes that I was taking. Right now ISB is having problems but I hope that it all works out because I certainly benefited from going here and hope other kids get the chance to.

ISB is not full of kids that are bad. But the school is crappy af the ceilings are always leaking and last year we had a teacher named miss pa*** for math class she just gave test everyday .We learned nothing. the french kids are great they are nice but the french track for high school is so noisy and rude (some of them). last year the door of the portables were opening and closing all the time a iguana came into the classroom one time and a rat was jumping in the trash can. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL. im not exaggerating . this is serious stuff plus they dont even put their rules into play nobody wears their uniform properly its mosly jeans and a polo with the logo. this school is something else. it might shut down soon. i heard a rumor that some chinese guy is going to buy the school n get rid of french track (the french parents are totally devastated cause it seems the school need more money)( from them) even after all the events we had last year that we couldve spent learning........NOTHING.

I was a student at this school 3 years ago and now Im about to start my junior year at the University of Florida. Im upset at all the negative reviews Ive been reading on this site about this school . Although ISB wasnt in the greatest neighborhood or had the most resources, the things Ive learned from this school has shapen me into the successful college student that i am today. The French program has given me nothing but oppurtunities in the realm of internships, studying abroad etc.. Since its a very small school the faculty/staff is very personal with its students and want nothing but the best from them. I really enjoyed my experience at this school and looking back I wouldnt of wanted to go anywhere else.

Its the worst school ever. This school have a messy administration, dr.hoy doesnt know how to lead a school honestly. I dont recommend at all this school, I think a public school is much more educative than this school. Please dont let your child spend useless year in international school of broward.

Mrs. Leal is the worst person to move the school forward. Contact Renaissance Charter where she worked and speak to the parents. There is a reason why so many of us left. Keep hiring people who cant speak the language.

ISB is the WORST school to ever exist. The schools owner is a liar and an accuser and the staff are really sensitive people. I hate that school. They mess up my records. And also they love to bother our parents soo much. Their are lots of WHITE PRIVILEDGE in that school. I hate ISB from the bottom of my heart. If your going to this school, there may be some things to understand, such as the spreading controversy in the school. What you havent heard was the discrimination of the lgbt community that is in that school; many of the people who went there can remember the terrible accident six years ago regarding the harassment of one of the students, lets call him Pablo.Pablo was one the students in the school who was forced to be there since, like many others, had no option to go to a better place (Broward school systems are terrible). In a place that is extremely small group of students, many people were able to know each other, and so it was a place were everyone knew everyone. The backlash of this was the tendency to create rumors that spread like fire (hey, the school was mostly boring, nothing compared to average schools). As rumors came and went, one was able to keep on going for many months. To explain why, the kid Pablo for some reason left to Columbia for a couple of weeks, no explanation why. Since the kid was well known by everyone, people decided to draw conclusions of where he went; out of the blue was that he went to Gay Bible Camp for recovery. It was well known of his flamboyancy among people as well as his harassment to other students, which he argued that it was just a joke; many people who were victim of this stated that there was times in which he didnt stop.Back to the topic, everyone in the school knew of the rumor and went on as a fact. A few weeks later, Pablo came back to school and noticed how some things were different. I have to remind you that the school is very religious and many people are strict homophobes. As many teachers were Jamaican, they screamed at Pablo and restricted themselves of ten feet near him. Pablo was accustomed to the gay jokes that were made at him, but realized the change in expression of peoples faces. He noticed that many of his religious friends were worried about him and they said that they were going to pray for him.A week later, one of the French kids were reported to have picked his locker, and that when he opens the door, a stack of gay porn would pop out of his locker. When it was just a tease, the freaking thing turned out to be true. Although I wasnt there to see it myself (I was absent that day), my friends said it was just to weird to be true.When Pablo was opening his door, a few photos didnt come out of his locker, even worse, a stack about 4 feet of gay porn flew out, it was probably hundreds upon hundreds of gay porn photos. Since it was 3rd period and the area had a bunch of kids, everyone began to scream and started circling the area.I had different stories of what happened next, yet the mostly ended like this: Pablo was in fact shocked of the entire thing and preceded to grab as much of the photos as possible and put in his locker while hearing the ridicules of his classmates. It got to the point that around 5 minutes (seriously, where were the teachers), Pablo just cracked and started run to the P.E. field while taking of his cloths (not his shoes and underwear though). This might be something weird that a disturbed person would do, but that wasnt the worst part, it was when he got a young girls jump rope and STARTED WHIPPING HIMSELF, screaming of how much he enjoyed it. Since there was a lot of noise in the P.E. field (how would use you feel that a somewhat naked man was whipping himself in from of kids), the coach in office came outside and screamed PABLO, WTF ARE YOU DOING, and proceeded to grab him. Since the coach was seven feet tall, Pablo was easily tackled (how else would you stop a man running) and carried to the office.Pablo was easily suspended for his conducted, yet expelled for his innapropriate images, it goes to show how tormenting ISB is.The question remains:What ever happened to Pablo? andWhat type of kid would prints hundreds of gay porn pictures? Seriously, that crap was in color too.Anyway, ISB is ok, but I prefer Flannigan.

Im changing schools horrible school teachers as well as staff starting with principal and counselors who only care about themselves.I have had problems between bullies and sexual harassment. I think this school should be shut down.

ISB allowed me to improve my English without losing my French, the multicultural aspect is a rare asset which allows me to meet people with a totally different life course, which is very enriching. As for the teaching staff, the team is competent and always attentive to its students. As the class sizes are small, it is easy for teachers to get to know the students and thus provide appropriate help for each. I have a good memory of ISB, with my Bac and my graduation in my pocket, I was able to integrate FIU and I feel competent there.
