Wouldnt have gotten the best knowledge and experience of driving if I didnt come here. Ive had other instructors but David is one of greatest instructors Ive ever had. The 5 hour class was engaging and fun. I recommend this driving school to everyone.

I was extremely impressed with A-OK Driving Schools entire process from sign-up through the 5hr course. Dawn and David were involved, communicative and available throughout the process and course. They did not just simply teach the course, but rather they highlighted all the pitfalls of the process to ensure all students had the best possible chance to pass the road test and be competent and safe drivers.

I’m so glad I chose to take this course with them because they help answer every question without be annoyed or judgements. They are very communicating and very understanding. I didn’t get bored during the class either. My certificate came in the mail the 4th day. I took my class on a Thursday and I got it on Monday. I would definitely recommend.

Went to their defensive driving class and it was an amazing and informative experience. Easy to follow and easy to sign up online.

I highly recommend this driving school to all of my friends and family, whom in which needs improvement in their driving. I had Dave teach me and it was his patience and reassuring nature that helped me pass my road test on the first try yesterday afternoon... try AOK!!

Couldn’t of been better, 10/10 class. Plus it’s awesome they have online courses to keep everyone safe during covid.

My instructor Dave was very helpful during my lessons. He helped me in areas i needed to improve on, especially when it came to parallel parking, and he helped me stay calm and not over-think things before the test. I passed my test on the first try thanks to his assistance.

I had my 5 hour course today with Jim Duffy , not only was he informative but he was funny and made it interesting as well. The course was only $45 which is much less than most places and part of the proceeds go to the veterans , they also serve pizza and soda for lunch so you can’t beat that! I highly recommend, it was a WIN WIN !!

Did 5hr course online, down to earth people

Very efficient, generous, and informative.

Took a classroom class and the instructor Jim was awful. He made an offensive joke against gay people. He also made a sexual joke with minors present. Super inappropriate and offensive. He spent a big chunk of time also talking about himself and his resume. Such a waste of time and money. Absolutely awful. Looking back I also see that the new owners havent addressed this issue that has apparently been happening since 2017.

Would highly recommend Dave. His professionalism, knowledge and teaching technique is superb. When I started using him my child with a permit for over a year had developed bad habits and was lacking parallel parking technique. It took a few lessons but Dave was easy to deal with. He was able to guide me regarding what amount of lessons were needed. The feedback at the end of each lesson was important on helping me gauge this as well. My only regret is that I couldnt convince my son to take the lessons sooner. We tried another school prior. After the first lesson with Dave my son said mom, he is much better then the other driving school instructor

Great class and the people in charge really know how to keep it moving and get their point across, I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Great teachers!

I traveled 40 miles to find this place Islip American Legion and than I could not find this place and when I called no one picked up.After lot rounds around that street was able to find the place but got around 30 minutes late and strange thing is he did not let me in even when I told him I could not find your place.This is insane all other schools care for their customers and even when they get late due to genuine reason they allow them and this school has wasted my money and time.Never recommend to anyone.
