One of the better Muay Thai / JJ gyms I’ve been too. Group trainings come with lots of pointers and a high priority on perfecting your skillset. Doesn’t matter what level you are at this place carries a lot of value.

This gym is beautiful! I am from Pennsylvania and dropped into a class while visiting. Gracie Technics is very clean and well organized. All instructors are very professional and polite. World-class instruction, great training partners, very clean facilities. From kids to adults with day jobs to professional MMA fighters, Rylan and Matt do an amazing work with all their students. I have been training here since 2015 and have loved every minute.

Started the BJJ intro class with Sebastian, excellent instructor and as helpful as you need him to be.After getting into the more advanced classes with Rylan and Matt the help was just as good if not better because the variety of belts and people you train with constantly challenge you and the atmosphere is one of learning. Come roll. Tap often.

My fiance and I trained here during our family trip and we really wish we couldve trained here more! The instructors are really knowledgeable and everyone was very welcoming. Definitely recommend others training here if theyre in Honolulu for Jiu Jitsu or Muay Thai classes. Well be back for sure!

Flew out here from there Oregon academy decide to stop by and have my daughter join class for the day . Matt was great, as well as his other teachers my daughter felt very comfortable highly recommend.

Best place to train

This establishment was a pleasure to visit and train at. The atmosphere was welcoming and professional, and the class schedule is accommodating and has something for everyone. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or any other Martial Art. Can’t wait for my next trip to Hawaii to train with these guys again!

I had been to 2 other Academies, before I found what I was looking for at Gracie technics. If you are looking for actual self-defense Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, this is the place. Rylan and Matt are amazing teachers, and truly run a professional Academy. Every lesson is well thought out, and they break down technique for everyone. Training is very safe there. Very high level Jiu Jitsu practitioners there to roll with as well, which makes your Jiu Jitsu that much better.

A great place to train for Jiu-Jitsu on Oahu. Matt was very responsive through emails when I wanted to visit for a drop-in class. Rylan was the no-gi JJ instructor leading the class. He was friendly and well-versed in demonstrating the steps & thought process of the classs moves for the day. I also liked the vibe of the gym as other students were welcoming. Many introduced themselves to me and I knew this gym would be a go-to school for future visits. Also, the gym is split into Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai mats so there are classes for both ground and striking arts. The facility is super clean with 2 bathrooms and changing stalls. Mahalo to Rylan and Matt for the drop-in and time spent.

Decided to stop by at Gracie Technics while on vacation. I was really impressed by how well the gym is laid out and very friendly people I was able to train with. Anytime Im at Hawaii Gracie Technics will be my go to gym to train BJJ!

I love the academy. Its been 6 months rolling there. The techniques are broken down really well. If you can get the technique down theyre willing to help. The kickboxing classes are awesome as well. If you are looking to get in shape. And learn from a coach to multiple ufc fighters. Then this is the place for you

This place was very welcoming. Ryland and Matt were both very friendly and let me drop in to train with them on a Friday (Gi) and Monday afternoon (no Gi). The facility was very clean and had two bathrooms and a shower. Ryland covered takedowns and ground technique into a submissions so there was definitely a flow to all of this. He’s very knowledgeable of what he’s showing. I would definitely come back. There were a good amount of people for the afternoon classes as well which says a lot about the establishment. Thank you for having me.

Definitely a must if you train bjj and mauy thai a amazing place to train while you are away from home. You definitely feel like family and if you ever have questions then reply in a really quick manner and the details that you receive in class are clear and very technical. Very friendly and inviting coach Rylan and Matt are truly great instructors. I learned so much during my visit.
