They have classes about once a month during this pandemic but the office is mostly closed. The best way to reach them is to email Rumi at [email protected] Classes are only in Japanese and more expensive than competing places.

The content to be learned was full of information that would be immediately useful in daily life, but since I was learning the contents of 500 pages of the textbook in a hurry, it was essential to review at home, and it was a fairly hard three weeks.Mr. Monas lecture at Zoom was spoken in plain English with his abundant experiences, so I was able to relax and listen with interest. Even if I couldnt understand the teachers English, I didnt have any trouble because there was support from a Japanese interpreter. However, since the test for graduation is conducted in English for both writing and practical skills, I got the impression that those who cannot speak English at all will have a high hurdle. Those who wish to take the state CNA test will be reassured that they will continue to receive support for the exam after graduation.

I graduated from the Nurse Assistant Class at Hawaii Healthcare School on August 31, 2021. A grandmother who has passed the 60th birthday for several years. If you are worried about your age or English ability and are wondering whether to qualify for NA, we recommend this course with a Japanese interpreter. After I retired, I decided to take the class to prevent isolation from society, but if I had the motivation, I could follow the class regardless of age. Since it is a small group of up to 8 people (my class was also 8 people), I became friends with my younger generation classmates and was able to absorb various knowledge. it was fun. If you would like to work immediately, we will support you, so it is worth your efforts.Principal, Mona, and interpreter Kyoko. Thank you to everyone at the school. Thank you very much.1

The deciding factor for applying to this school was that there were explanations of the class in Japanese textbooks and Japanese. The text was thick and full of anxiety, but Mr. Mona, assistant Kyoko, and Mr. Ruri, everyone really patiently and politely explained in Japanese. It was very helpful for understanding. In addition, I was touched by Mr. Monas gentle and warm personality, and made me think about what NA needs as a person as well as knowledge and experience. He taught me not only classroom lectures but also classes in the lab in detail and carefully and repeatedly.I was able to remember it as an operation.I think that what I learned at this school will definitely be useful not only as an NA profession but also in my future life. This school is highly recommended for Japanese people who are interested in NA but feel uneasy.

It is a class with a Japanese interpreter who will teach you carefully. Decades of experience in the classroom and in the field, the lessons of Mr. Mona who is familiar with this medical industry, and Mr. Kyokos attitude toward detailed care unique to Japanese people are wonderful. You can also prepare for the Hawaii CNA certification test. It is also a plus to be able to learn medical terms in both Japanese and English.

In 2020, the life of the past changed completely due to the influence of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19). During the self-restraint period, I wanted to qualify as a nurse assistant who had been interested for a long time.I decided to apply for the Hawaii Healthcare School because I can take it with a Japanese assistant.Since the class was an online class using zoom, I was able to see the screen with the instructor, Mr. Mona, but he carefully proceeded with the class in easy-to-understand English. It was very helpful for me to talk about many of Monas own experiences. Also, my assistant, Kyoko, translated in Japanese, so I could understand the lesson contents better. It was really good to decide on a small group and cozy HHS. I was able to enjoy going every day for 3 weeks in no time. Mahalo!

I am delighted that the training was successfully completed thanks to the kind guidance of Mr. Mona and Mr. Kyoko who took care of me very enthusiastically.I dont understand English. It was a start full of anxiety about my age, but I am grateful that Kyoko-sans support and classmates helped me to enjoy going to school. What I dont understand: I was keenly aware that Kyoko taught me carefully even after hours, such as anxiety, and that the school has a solid support system.I am glad that I attended this school by facing each other and teaching me carefully.Thank you, Mr. Mona, Kyoko.mayako

Although I had no medical knowledge at all, I was interested in hearing that at Hawaii Healthcare School, I could learn the knowledge and experience necessary for long-term care in Japanese. Thanks to Kyoko, an interpreter and assistant, who kindly responded to inquiries over the phone, I felt like lets try it! Without any hesitation or anxiety. And he encouraged and supported us ever since the class started. From the first day of the class, the atmosphere was warm and peaceful, and I enjoyed learning for three weeks. It was difficult for me to read English textbooks with my English ability, but Mr. Mona talked about the points while sharing his abundant experiences, and Mr. kyoko translated it in an easy-to-understand manner and questioned it. Also responded firmly. I am truly grateful that I was able to finish it safely thanks to the wonderful personality and combination of the two of us who guided us.We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Principal Greg and all the staff for their consideration in creating a comfortable environment. Thank you very much.

What happened after the company I was working for was dismissed due to the corona virus? .. .. When I was thinking about it, I found out about this school in an article by The Japanese Daily Sun, and learned about the profession called NA (Nurse Assistant). It was a completely unknown field, but I wish I could lead to my career by acquiring this new qualification, and I wish my family could be a little useful in case of emergency. It was an opportunity to get interested in this school. But above all, I learned that there is a Japanese class (with a Japanese interpreter) in a class that I thought I could only learn in English, and for me, who is not good at English, I am grateful that I can study in Japanese and get a qualification in the United States. I decided to enroll, saying, Its a thing.I was able to take classes with peace of mind because I measured my body temperature every morning and installed an air purifier in the room to take proper measures against infectious diseases. Not to mention the lessons, but all of them are new to me.A lot of medical terms have come up, but after Mr. Mona, who has a lot of experience in nursing care and teaching, explained in English, Kyoko, a staff member, will translate for you.Kyoko said, The school will fully support you until graduation. I was supported by the words. Many of Monas experiences were useful, and I was blessed with encouraging and fun friends at the same time. To be honest, it was difficult to prepare and review every day, but it was three weeks in a blink of an eye.As it was a Japanese class, it was really helpful to have some materials and exercises translated into Japanese. On the final day, President Greg also participated in a heartwarming graduation ceremony, and the application for the CNA test (additional actual cost) was also applied at the school.I will do my best so that I can make use of what I learned at school in the future.I am grateful to Mr. Greg, President of Hawaii Healthcare School, Mr. Mona, and Mr. Kyoko for their kindness.

I am very glad that I participated in this course. Mr. Mona, the instructor, and Mr. Kyoko, the interpreter and assistant instructor, shared their own experiences, so I was able to learn better. For those who are wondering whether to qualify for NA because of English, this course with a Japanese interpreter is very good. Its a small group of up to 8 people, so it was good to have a good exchange with the classmates.

The personalities of Mr. Mona and Mr. Kyoko, the interpreter, are the best! I was worried about studying in the first field and my English ability, but Mr. Kyoko, who has a lot of experience, is very interested in the lecture and interprets it in an easy-to-understand manner. Thanks to them, I was able to learn happily and firmly. Thank you very much!

Can I keep up with my class in my suspicious everyday English conversation and with little medical knowledge? I was worried at first, but it was all right. The instructor, Mr. Mona, is a person with a laid back body and mind, and even if I asked a poor English question, he taught me slowly, simply and in an easy-to-understand manner, and I managed to manage myself with a language barrier. I felt like I was trying to understand it, so I was able to ask questions as many times as I wanted without having to worry about it. And Kyoko, who got in between Mr. Mona and the students and supported the interpreter and detailed lesson contents, is a very cheerful and kind sister, and is familiar with specialized medical terms that we are not familiar with. I was very happy to be able to translate it into words and explain it in various ways, and to help us all so that we wouldnt fall out. Both Kyoko and Mona taught me that I can learn new things no matter how old I am! I learned a lot in 3 weeks in no time! Thank you very much!

Its a small class, so its very kind, easy to ask questions, and sincerely faced us students. At first I was worried about the English class, but Mr. Mona talked at our own pace, and Kyoko-sans wonderful interpreter made me understand. Im really glad I chose this school.
