Notice how many Google reviews are by workers. Don’t let the stars fool you. All I can say is… wow. The incompetence I saw in the three weeks my child attended this daycare was nothing short of dangerous. From “teachers” (little to no education happening here) huddled in corners talking to each other or using their cell phones while children ran freely unattended, to being allowed to enter the building with no credentials by a lady vacuuming the lobby and then walking out with my daughter and not a single person asking me who I was on my first visit (and consequently, last) picking her up… Her mother reported to me that several times she was picked up sticky-faced and with wet pants. The children in room 5B would nap for three hours and then be given a snack with NO DRINK. And don’t get me started on the supposed director Jazmine, who disregarded any of my complaints and offered no apology or solution. I’m glad there was no solution to be had. This place is not fit to be in business. Thank Heaven for the video cameras. Prospective parents beware!

First let me say my child no longer attends this horrible facility. Go through and read the one star reviews are all correct. Horrible management and staff. You are paying for overpriced babysitters. No teaching, teachers are not trained and are not fit to be teachers AT ALL. For example you have an app to be able to communicate with your child’s teacher, well I wrote the teacher several times regarding an issue with my child that I saw via the camera and do you think I got a response no. I looked on the camera to just see the teachers on their phone huddled and laughing and speaking with one another. THANK GOD FOR THE CAMERAS as proof. If you care about your child I would not bring them to this facility.

IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR KIDS HEALTH, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE! This daycare has been such a let down.!The first few weeks our baby was sent home the wrong bottles! The manager stated that due to them being strict on time they may have mixed up the bottles but they are 90% sure our baby didn’t get the wrong bottles. My baby was also allowed to be picked up without even having to identify themselves !Also a number of DHR cases have happened which was concerning.A plethora of ILLNESSES and the lack of transparency was what finally made us say we had had enough ! Our baby contracted Flu, RSV, Hand, foot, and mouth disease and just this last week an eye infection since we started in March. Not once we were ever notified that these illnesses were going around. Even when my baby was out an entire week the class wasn’t notified of the illnesses until my baby was back at school. Our baby were exposed to COVID and we were not notified that 3 COVID cases happened at the school. We were initially told that they were just shutting down to clean “per state health department protocol “ . It was only when I called other daycares and informed them that other daycares stated that they were not closing down and that they only clean on weekends is when they admitted that there were COVID cases ! They didn’t even send out a notification to let other parents know that there were Covid cases ! I know that babies will get sick at daycare but the communication at this daycare is horrible ! My fear of COVID forced me to pull them from this daycare! I’ve seen the daycare teachers use the tissues to wash multiple babies noses and not wash their hands ! Hygiene is terrible ! This is unacceptable ! I never have written a review but I feel parents should know what they are signing up for at this daycare. So glad we are gone ! The number of kids attending this school has decreased drastically ! Most daycares don’t have openings right now. Take that as a warning sign !

I love these ladies like family, because they are. Not only do they take such great care of my daughter, but they care deeply about me too. I was hospitalized recently and they sent me flowers and a card, all while keeping me informed on how my baby was doing at school. That’s just one example. I could go on and on. If you want a FAMILY that will LOVE your children like your own, give Children’s Lighthouse Hoover a try. I promise you won’t regret it!

We have been at Lighthouse for about a year, and I can’t say enough good things! Although there was some turnover at first, the staff is fantastic. My pre-k son is fully prepared for kindergarten next year, and they potty trained my strong-willed 3 year old in no time! It puts this mama’s heart at ease knowing my children are genuinely loved and cared for as I work. They WANT to go to school. I absolutely recommend.

The Curriculum has helped my daughter learn so much! She is able to express her self besides just writing on paper

My daughter absolutely loved doing summer camp here. Am drop off was easy even with the extra safety measures for keeping the children and employees safe thu this pandemic.

A great place to work and the perfect place to bring your kids. As a employee here I get to love on all the kids at the center. We provide excellent service and care for each and every one of our babies. If in need of child care stop by and take a tour. You will absolutely love it!!!!

Administration is seriously a joke! It is filled with none qualified people. No communication, the new Director is definitely a joke just like all the rest of them but maybe worse with the exception of maybe one when they first opened. Center has had over 3 directors the little while they have been open. Curriculum is no where near what it use to be and tuition is outrageous. Don’t go by the reviews you see they are not actual parents from the center. Teachers are nice but this is not a stable center at all!

Rumors are flying about the recent dismissal of a teacher that worked in baby room 1. As a parent of a child that was also taught by this teacher, I am concerned that the parents have not been notified about the reason this teacher was dismissed to put our minds at ease with so many rumors going around about this issue!

My sons teachers are making my son improve in potty training and so Many other ways. The administration is great as well, the owner is always on site and accessible. Specifically Carly, Abby and Francis are all amazing and make my son so happy! Also, the technology is great you get multiple pics and updates on what your kid is doing that day and if you want you can watch a live video feed of their class. Also, if there are any signs of abnormal behavior or any type of bump or bruise the staff calls to inform you and will answer any and all questions. They also do weekly lesson plans, a splash pad day, and some weeks a show and tell day!

Let me start with saying my kids no longer attend this school for good reason. The new management at this facility is the worst management I have ever encountered. They are so impersonal and don’t even try to get to know the families or kids! They are rude and the director just snubs off anything the parent has an issue with. I don’t know what happened to the last director, Mrs. Jeannie, but it’s so upsetting she isn’t there anymore because she was so caring and always tried to be present and loved the kids. This place used to be great and now it’s just sad. The teachers yell constantly and are ALWAYS on their phone. Needless to say, this place may seem great at first glance but beware.. just because you can get in, does NOT mean you should go.

What a GREAT place to bring your children! I absolutely love it here.

Love It!!! I have a 7 month old girl who attends and she enjoys being there. (SPOILED...😆). Very friendly atmosphere. Very compassionate towards our babies.

My three year granddaughter is in Ms. LeAnnes class and shes with Ms. Diamond in the evening. She only attends 3days a week but she really enjoys her days. She looks forward to going to school there. All the people there are so nice and warm from the moment you enter into the building until you leave they speak to you with bright smiling faces, and I feel comfortable leaving my grand baby there. I work in child care and I am so glad I found Childrens Lighthouse. I would recommend everyone to take a tour of you are looking for a warm nurturing environment for your child.Mildred Hughey
