The track around the junior high is a good place to walk, but it would be nicer if they would rake off the goose droppings

My daughters first year was last year. She went to Blair mill elementary.The school is extremely small and run down. My daughter complained about all of the fowl language coming from both the students and the teachers. A child in her class bullied a few kids and the teacher did nothing. Gave the excuse that he has ADHD. Now my other daughter has severe ADHD and she never acts like how this child did. He punched my daughter in the stomach and nothing was done about it. Things were stollen from my daughters desk on a daily basis. The nurse is an absolute joke. The woman gave out Tums like candy. Ur arm hurts? Heres a Tums. Headache? Have a Tums. Ridiculous. My daughter had an asthma attack and they sent her back to class. My daughter has a peanut allergy and they do not take any precautions to keep her away from it. There was assigned seats in the lunchroom and a child near her ate peanut butter almost every day. Thats dangerous! They need to have a designated peanut free table. Her old school had one. I made many phone calls to fix all of these problems and more, and again, nothing was done to fix a thing. For orchestra they bused the kids to another school for after school practice. When the practice was over the teacher says to the kids If your parents are here u can leave. If not u need to wait in the lobby. Then the teacher left. No one checked to see if the children went home with the correct people. Or if they were even picked up! Needless to say I made sure I was there 15 minutes early to pick up my daughter! At the concert, when it was finished, they just sent the kids out into the crowd to find their parents. I couldve believe it!! I came from the Upper Moreland school district and they were pretty strict about picking up your children. You had to prove that you were the parent and sign them out. Thats how it should be everywhere. Theres crazy people out there!! These teachers are supposed to protect them. Keep them safe. This school does not do this. My daughter has 1 more year at this school, thank goodness. I hate that she has to be there to begin with. Theres a new principle this year so maybe, just maybe, things will change. I wont hold my breath.
