Warning: Explicit IdiotsEver wonder who came dead last in your graduating class? Ponder no further, they unified and created a driving school. Some would question how they are in business, like the fire department, they are the only option in the area. They are without a doubt, the MOST inefficient group you will encounter. This wouldn’t be so bad if you didn’t encounter people who are passionate about being rude.It doesn’t stop there. YOUR CHILD WILL NOT FINISH ON TIME. Yep, that’s right. They have a 1990’s website that you have to schedule the child’s drive time. It’s not automatic, you have to do it in the middle of a work day/ school class day and YOU HAVE 10 MINUTES MAX TO LOGIN OR CLASS IS FULL. the best part is they randomly post the available classes. Finally made it to the end..... but wait more donated purgatory waiting for you. Would you assumed 15 massive file cabinets would be in any type of sequence? Not at this retirement home. Dementia set in long before the school opened. We waited 38 minutes for them to prove to themselves that my daughter even went to the classes. Even though she had the certificate in her hand.PLEASE: Drive 10 more miles looking for another school OR surf 15 more seconds online AND YOU WILL save months of frustration. My comments my be harsh but accurate. I wish anyone would open a driving school in Cypress. If these people can make it, anyone can.

Went here to learn how to drive 2 years ago. I took my pre-permit instruction online, so I cant say much in that regard. The driving courses here are well paced IMO. Driving can be hard to learn, but a good teacher can make it easier. I would recommend finding an instructor whose teaching method compliments well with the student when you sign up. When I went there, the instructors were quite a mixed bag for me. Sometimes you wont always get a choice considering how fast the scheduling fills up. Didnt really help that the site wasnt exactly user friendly. I feel 3 stars is appropriate from my experiences, but if the site was more user friendly, would consider a 4 star.

HORRIBLE customer services!! Never pick up phone calls, rude people calls back whenever they feel like it. I had one talking to me as if I was a child. I used all my politeness to let her know I am not one of her teenagers. So RUDE. How can they be on business?! i dont understand 😑😑.Do not recommend this place at all! On top of that instructions are rude to students. Please go somewhere else.

They get the job done. My oldest 3 kids have gone through their teen driving course and each obtained their drivers license. The staff are always knowledgeable and helpful and have been at this location for a long time. This is a no-fills, get to the point type of facility, which as a busy working parent - I APPRECIATE. If your teen is in need of drivers ed, this is a great option. ALL THREE OF MY TEENS FINISHED ON TIME WITH ABSOLUTELY ZERO ISSUES AT ALL. Personality differences happen in every type of business. Parents in any type of school arent always the easiest to deal with. None of this was a concern of mine, especially when I am not the student. Highly recommend and will be sending my next teen here too.

Yikes, I was considering enrolling my son for the school... However, after reading the less than 3rd grade level dismissive, illiterate, moronic responses from the owner. ITS definitely an easy pass. Absolutely disgusting attitude. The way he takes the time to agitate negative reviewers says it ALL!ITS surprising hes even still in business. He should be reported to the Attorney General, by his former clients. In addition to, being investigated & sued.Texas is a state that protects consumer rights.Thank heavens for Google reviews!

RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE THE OWNER IS OBNOXIOUS AND CLEARLY SHIWS NO SIGN OF RESPECT GIR THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE PARENT OR STUDENTS. Drive times are hardly available in which are a part of the requirements to get license. They will take your money easily and make very little effort in communicating properly essential details to complete program. The business was recently sold and little effort was made to share it with parents and or students enrolled in the school. Files are between two different locations and schools! Poor business practices and let alone the experience! BEWARE DO NOT GO HERE! It deserves NO STARS.

I have sent both of my children through and I am happy that I have. Each one has passed their driving test with flying colors. Drive-times were easy to get and the school always worked with my daughters schedules. Plus the insurance discounts saved us a lot of money. The office staff helped me schedule drive-times around my daughters schedule and made the process of learning to drive easy for both of my children. Thanks Cypress Driving School for all your help.

First of all this place charges you $300 as it says on the website. What the website doesnt say is that you have to pay another few hundred dollars when you take the classes which is really scummy and sketchy. The instructors are the rudest people that could possibly be hired and they expect you to drive perfectly as soon as you get in the car. They expect you to drive perfectly when this is a driving SCHOOL, a place where you get TAUGHT to drive. One instructor stopped the car so that we could talk about politics. The instructors also seem to have drama/politics going on since each instructor that taught me spoke badly about the other instructors. Another thing parents should consider is that they have the most broken down dilapidated cars that Ive ever driven. This place should be a no-no just based on how unsafe it is to give NEW drivers the oldest cars Ive ever seen. The newest cars they have always have an issue, such as their brakes not functioning as well as they should be. I was asked by my instructor one time not to drive above 40 miles since the cars battery couldnt take it. Another thing is that they charge you 40 dollars to take your driving test. This is a HUGE ripoff as you can take your test at a DPS for just $15. They also give you the worst cars youve seen for the tests so that you most likely fail and they grab an easy 40 bucks. Take your driving test at a DPS where the prices are $15 and you can be confident in your car since you can drive your own. Overall this place is a rip-off with rude instructors, terrible cars, and an even worse website that doesnt tell you the real cost of the place.

You are told to use a web site to sign up for drive times. It is run like an auction, during business and school hours. This requires you or your child to miss work or school to sit and refresh the web site while the owner trickles times into the system. As other people note, you can call the owner directly to circumvent the system. The system costs money. Seemed rather ridiculous to me.Im ready for the nasty response from the owner now...A little update here. Do you want to do business with someone who consistently replies that his former customers lie or are wrong? What do his assumptions about others tell you about.the level of service or his outlook on life? Takes a yarn spinner to hit a review site with propaganda this extreme. Your turn, coach.

Being a mother of four, I was not ready for my first child to start the process of getting a license, but Cypress Driving School eased this process. With the help of their wonderful staff, I am confident to say that my son has walked away from his Teen Driving course with a load of knowledge and I have walked away with a boost of confidence and trust in his driving abilities. I really do appreciate the work that Cypress Driving School has done and want to take this small review to thank the office staff for working with my teens hectic schedule.

Love it, the exam was pretty easy, though you have to take notes to breeze through the exam. I really really like my instructor, though I didnt catched her name, she is from New York. She gets straight to the point, and goes over with you the basics, and the essentials for you to take the drivers test, after you have taken your adults course so you can get your permit.

The first 6 weeks while in class, everything went well but when it was time to schedule Drive Time. It became a NIGHTMARE!!! We had to e-mail the coach during a specific date/time or you would not get any drive time! There were never any available days when you clicked on them. When you sent an e-mail, they would go to the coach who was RUDE and had NO COMPASSION! While we had 2 drive times left and 4 mths to do them. He suggested we just switch to parent talk! Never recommending anyone here!

I am very satisfied with my experience as a parent, and my sons student experience w/ Cypress Driving School! There was heavy emphasis in an early parent meeting on paying attention to when drive times are posted so you can get scheduled, and you would do well to heed this alert! I never had an issue(not one) scheduling my son and was able to get a drive time w/ each new drive time posting! In fact, in that early parent meeting it was also emphasized that IF you are not able to get a drive time you just need to call the school and they will get you one even if the schedule was full! The school was as advertised especially in providing the necessary doc for my son to get his permit in the 1st week of class! I am told that there is a discount provided for sending other family members to the school, which is a plus, but since my youngest just went through I cant take advantage of it but I will still recommend this school to anyone that asks.

Got to do my driving test there instead of the DPS. I had trouble getting drive times at other places, but at Cypress Driving School I got my drive times done in about 10 weeks. Anytime I had trouble getting a drive time I called the owner, and he helped me get my drive time that week. This place was fast and easy to get my drive times done I recommend it to any teen who wants to get their drive times done. The big difference Is I learn something those other school they were just checking boxes. Try to request Mrs. Terry she great. Coach Adams is the best keep up the good work.

Website is complicated - not at all user friendly - when you call for help - you are reluctantly and rudely assisted and treated like youre in kindergarten! My son missed one scheduled drive time - they immediately deactivated his account and refused to schedule more drive times UNTIL A FEE OF $40 WAS PAID! I already paid this school $500!!!!!!!!! This is absurd and ridiculous! No warning of this policy anywhere! I have to finish my sons classes with this school because they TOOK MY MONEY up front - the ONLY reason I will be finishing it out!BE WARNED - GO ELSEWHERE!

When I came to the parent meeting, I was a little intimidated by Coach Adams, the owner. But as time went on I realized that, thats who he is, a coach. As I got to know him better I understood that he really does care about the students and works hard to make sure they know how to drive well. His instructors have several years of experience and seem to care about the students as well. My son came home with some tips on he had learned driving and told me about some of their life stories they shared with him(concerning mistakes made driving and lessons learned when they were younger) which really made an impact on him. I really appreciate the fact that they share things like that rather than simply checking of boxes to pass a test. There were a few times that we had to change drive times due to scheduling conflicts but coach was gracious to work something in for us both times. Yes, we still cut it close to the deadline, so if you plan on finishing on time you got to sign up asap when the drive times are released. No theyre not perfect, and there at times stressful moments trying to get everything in, but overall it was a worthwhile investment.

Getting drive times is a nightmare, They make you feel like they are doing you a favor when they are actually being paid to TEACH!. Also one of the instructors ( this lady works at a DPS) was the nastiest, most condescending to my kid. She actually had the nerve to tell him that they are supposed to know how to drive before being enrolled in this school. At the end of this drive time, my kid did not want to get behind the wheel when he had been eager to learn before. Does that make any sense to you all? then why are we paying them for? Nowhere that information was offered or suggested nor the coach mentioned it in the meeting we had. Completely disappointing, my kid told me this guy was a nightmare and I gave him the benefit of a doubt because we all know teenagers but guess what? he was right. Will never recommend this school to anyone.
