With a 200 word review I will get a new badge on my Google local guides. So I’m gonna tell you about the Cunningham school it is a school located in Houston Texas that people go to I don’t know if it’s good or bad because I’m from New York but I have lived here for 10 years and can tell you that the education system seems a little different. I don’t know if this is 200 words or not so I’m going to keep talking about school specifically the Cunningham school and how great it is in all senses of the word. The school has been rated by many people and is a great place to go to get an education. If you like to watch movies and play video games this might not be a good school for you. One of the worse school years I have experienced. Moving to the southwest was already a life change , but having to deal with the unprofessional staff members at this school was the worse. From principle, to assistant principle, to the untrained teachers not sure which one worst. My kids have experience more bullying in this school than any other school, and for this school to not take action until you reach out to someone above them , is depressing . I can keep going about all the bad things but no reason why since they will not take it serious .No i do not recommend anyone moving to this school zone at all, reconsider .

Well today 09/11/2017, it was the worst school dismissal I have ever experience throughout my history of Cunningham Elementary ever. Today I meet the New Principal I must say, Very Unprofessional , Rude, Arrogant , He comes out with an attitude screaming and yelling because He cant control the dismissal part, which it has been handled so well throughout the years Ive been sending my children to this school, I see parents arriving like usual at 2pm parking for space, (which I must say, instead of changing principal, please add more parking space) I see parents walking from Gulfton to Rice, etc, riding the Metro bus to pick up the kids from school. But today , this Principal represented Himself like an unorganized Principal, it was a echos today, He had No IDEA what he was doing, Today parents where asking Him , where can there children be pick up for Walkers, This Principal had the moral to scream to a mother that she needed to pick her child at drive through, of course like she said, she had no vehicle, and this was His very Professional answer does it look like its my business that you dont have a vehicle, ohhhh no Sir you dont answer people like that. This is his 1st day, I can just imaging the rest of the year. Please anyone that he yelled today comment and lets file a report against HIM,.

I have two children that go here. The staff arent too friendly and I heard not so good things about the principal Mr. Cruz. The teachers do not call you back when you leave messages and I give them at least a week because I understand they might be busy, however the call never comes. They are very unorganized when it comes to every event. During the Thanksgiving lunch they ran out of seats we had to sit on the steps of the stage. When Im at these events I watch how the teachers interact with the kids and Ive seen some behave rudely to the kids. Some dont seem to have the drive to enteract at the events as if they dont want to be there. The teachers lack communitcation with the parents which is unexceptable when it comes to those parents that are very active with the school. The counselor Ms. Jewel is very unprofessional she also doesnt give call backs. Parking is very small (one of the things thats least of my worries), but unfortunately not the only problem that is going at this school. Not a school I recommend.

I went here as a child in the 80s. It has changed alot. I think alot of the area is wasted, and could have more classrooms, etc.But im glad they ripped out all those 50s and 60s temp class shacks along the Rice side.

This school lacks profession when it comes to their educators including their Principle Ms.White! Some of the teachers here do not even speak proper English. Ever since I moved my family to the South West area especially my children to this School my wife seems to have problems here and there with the administration here. The school will call you when your child acts up, but when there is an incident that may have happened to your child they arent so quickly to call you and advise you back. My daughter constantly has complaints on how the student body here are so ill mannered, and how time to time there have been different incidents where a bunch of 5th graders have tried beating other students up in the restroom or how one girl brought a knife to school which by the way sent a letter two days later after the incident. HISD educators should implement more on these children in order to avoid tragedies like seen on news stream.

This is one of the best school i have go teachers are nice i miss ms Casas . also i had lots of aventures with my friends pokecards and stuff i also learnd lots of english i miss this school 😖😖😖😖😖😖😖😖😓😓😓😓😩😩😩😩😩😩😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
