I dont even know this daycare but I saw the other womans review and understood why she took her child out. But the fact that the company was immature and responded in a negative and rude way just shows what kind of people they are. Definitely wont be taking my daughter there.

Review №2

I had my child enrolled here for a month and I didnt feel comfortable leaving him there. Wee the people is a small, recently opened daycare owned by Elizabeth Grice. On my first visit to the center, they were out of ratio as far as the teacher to student ratio. I asked about it, and the lead teacher seemed nervous, but shortly after, someone walked in that put them in ratio. Elizabeth also would not allow me to bring his own food to accommodate a special diet because she said it was a safety issue. Ive never heard of that from any other daycare. Then she made me enroll in the food program so she could get reimbursed for the food she buys for him.The second thing that made me uncomfortable is this: I was upset because Elizabeth told my sons father that hes spoiled and needs to not be held when he cries, because thats what he wants and if hes fed and changed he can go on the floor. First off, he was 7 months. I am a bit bothered by her philosophy. This is my take on spoiled babies. Affection and love are not just extra things to have once youve fed and changed the baby. They have a need for touch and love and for you to respond to them. I dont agree with Elizabeths take on things. She told me I have to put him down because he wants to be held. I dont see why I need to have a battle of the wills with my son. And I dont feel she shouldve told me what I need to be doing at home. The third thing is this: one day they didnt open until 9 because someone misread their schedule. My sons dad had to scramble to drop off our baby with someone else so he could make it to work on time. Very stressful for everyone. The fourth thing is this: 1 day my only had 2 bottles that he drank while over there (from 7:30 to 4:30). She said he actually took 3 bottles because she took one bag from the freezer and thawed it and refilled one bottle. Why would she do that if she had several more unfrozen bottles handy? And you obviously want to save the frozen bag for an emergency if you can... so Im not sure she was being honest. So anyway, I asked her if I could come see how they feed him since I cant get him to eat at home and she basically said it wasnt going to be easy to watch because he fusses for his bottle and they dont give it to him because theyre not bonded to him like his mother is (and she threw in that she didnt have kids so she didnt know what it was like to be a mother) so they can ignore his cries more and not give in to him. She said in welcome to watch, but its going to be hard for me. What kind of person says that to the mother? And I told her I wanted his main source of nutrition to be milk...why was she force feeding him food and not giving him bottles? Food is not the main source of nutrients when theyre under one.I called to pull my child out and was very nice and sweet about it, but she says theyll have to charge me for another two weeks because the handbook says so. I am going to dispute the fact that I have to pay for services not rendered (due to lack of two weeks notice), because I believe that she first breached our contract by not being available to provide childcare at the time that was agreed upon. She didnt give me two weeks notice that she would be an unreliable provider.I went up to the daycare to get my things for my son and she said I couldnt get them. She said it was her facility and i wasnt allowed through the doors and she threatened to call the cops on me and then said I owe the two weeks pay upfront (I dont). She tried to bully me into signing additional documentation saying I wouldnt cancel my credit card they have on file. She then fraudulently charged my card when she knew she wasnt authorized to do so.
