My daughter attended kindergarten last year in the middle of the pandemic. Everyone was very patient and concerned about the kids. I love their curriculum! I recommend this school.

I love ILTexas! We are very happy to have our son in this school. I like the way they communicate with parents, even though some people don’t like it, we think is the best way to monitor our kid’s work at school. I have recommended the school with my friends and they are happy to have their children in ILTexas!!

I should have listened to these reviews before enrolling my child here. They send out a mass message when kids are not logged into class, so I kept thinking my child wasnt logged in but to find out that its just mass messages. When they do this, Im constantly having to check if they meant my child because I see her in class but their message tells me others. Then they keep emailing these failing/ missing assignments emails where they do not tell you if its missing or failing. How can I help my child if I dont know if theyre failing or its a missing assignments. So its another generic email.Ill ask a teacher a question (on dojo since its meant for communication) after they send messages about class or assignments and no response. Ill ask about an assignment and no response and will maybe get an answer the following day if lucky. Ive sent a message to all the teachers in hopes of a response.Just debating if I should seek another school for next semester or just wait until next school year.

The school has improved vastly since it opened in 2017. The COVID 19 situation has really showed people’s true colors. WML staff, teachers, and administration have unified and worked very hard to provide a 21st century education for students under very difficult conditions.

Worst school Ive ever been to in my LIFE!! Unorganized, they dont communicate with the parents until you come up to the school in a less professional manner. Been trying to get a learning aptitude test done to see where my child strong and weak points are but never heard back in over 2 months! Bullying is permitted and no consequences are done, had 7 instances where my son was being bullied and nothing was done, student was just told to stop. Champions is even worse as a student hit my son for trying to help him and the parents were told and it was documented. They wonder why schools are being shot up and why students are fighting because the teachers arent doing anything before it escalates!! Go to Hancock elementary around the corner or 1 of the other 5 schools down the street. My son has been in charter schools since Kindergarten and now is in 4th grade. This is the sorriest school Ive ever seen in Houston!!! Save your time and energy for someone who actually cares for your child.

My daughter attends this school and she loves it. Great curriculum. I love that my child is exposed to different cultures. My daughter is in the 2nd grade. She had some difficulties adjusting to the Spanish so I got her a Spanish tutor for the first semester. She is excelling in all courses.

This school needs no stars at all. When I first enrolled my child, I was so exited thinking he would be so successful. After 1 month of NO organization, and many agreements that were broken, I started to lean more towards withdrawal. I called a couple of conferences in which Ms.Laura Gonzales (principal) changed the subjects, fidgeted with absolutely everything, talked over me, excised herself and ended conferences with no resolution. Our very first conversation consisted of me asking for a folder be sent home with my son showing me his daily behaviors, in which, they or originally started, then stopped. I simply just wanted that started back up, she agreed. I requested a counseling services be provided, she agreed, that was never started. Recently a 3rd grade Spanish teacher named Galindo, has been kicking 3 boys out of her class, and told the 3 boys to tell their mothers that we shouldn’t send them to school the day of the field trip because they weren’t going. Excuse me- the school is supposed to accommodate that. Bullying seems to be getting out of hand with my friends 1st grader. Currently I say inside the office waiting for the head principal to conference, and she keepS saying 5 minutes, until 5 Minutes turned into 1 hour, then she stopped responding to the staff period. Hello! Do you need a timer to tell you that five minutes isn’t 60 minutes? So I left. I called above them, Dr. Orosco, left two messages and now just left a third, hopefully they call soon. This is so unprofessional, disrespectful and careless to my time and concerns! I would never recommend this school to anyone!! Parents get involved!

Last year I was a student here, so my information may not still be relevant however i can tell you about the experience. The school was just built this was the first year that ANYTHING happened, so it was very unorganized. There was a language barrier between the students and Spanish/Chinese teachers (because they didnt speak ANY English). There were some teachers who were very good at their job and some very bad ones. I must say that there are some aspects of there classes that let you learn more than public school. As far as there music program it is one of the best by far(and Ive been to many), the instructors are very experienced and know how to bring the kids together. My peers were a mess, there were some really good and smart friends of mine who were suppressed and bullied. The kids all came from different places, so there were a lot of groups because none of the kids fit in with others. My family and I had high hopes for the school and we were very disappointed with the experience. I hope in the future the school can change and get there methods together, then rest would fall in line and it would be a great school.

This is an outstanding new campus. My children attend this school and they absolutely love it. The teachers and staff are great. We had minor issues in the beginning of the school year being a new campus and all but the principal, Dr. Brown, along with the teachers and staff have made great improvements.

Ok I have been watching the teachers for several months now while working at this school, they literally yell and scream their lungs off on their students , I thought they would just do this unprofessional behavior to the middle school students , but I was shocked how they screaming at the little ones at kindergarten as well, as well have I seen how they yelling at a child with special needs and that teacher was acting very immature while telling the special needs kindergartener “ I’m going to tell on you” on and on. I am very disappointed of how most teachers there treating the students. This school sounds like being at times in a military the way they talk to the children! I have not seen any of the male teachers acting like that but mostly the female teachers acting very unprofessional!

I love this school i sent my oldest daughter here when she was in 6th grade and Yes the car lines were extremely long but is worth the wait when my daughter finished 5th grade i was very afraid of all the middleschools. That surrounded us but luckily I L texas came along and saved us. So the next following year i decided to sent all my 6 children here and I DID had some issues but it was mostly the some teachers the staff worked the situations just fine The principal is Awesome she works hard to push this school through excellence I think she is a really good principal. Unfortunately we moved and i had to HOMESCHOOL my children and there is not a day where any of my kids come to me saying that they want to go back to IL Texas The uniforms are alil pricey but Good education comes with Good discipline and sure is not Free all the good things in life have some cost and the school is free the least we can do is sent our children prepared with the right tools that includes appearance

This place is heavily unorganized, and can never get their stuff together. The administration is corrupt and rude in some situations. The current principal, Ms. Arreola will never reply to your emails if so VERY late. Also, in middle school schedules, don’t be fooled by the “honors” courses. The classes aren’t teaching like a Pre AP/ Honors class should. My child learned some of the same stuff from 6th-7th grade in her elementary years in 5th/4th grade. The middle school has major behavioral issues as well, such as MULTIPLE explosions in one year. Are you serious? The school isn’t advertised as what it really is once you enroll your child here. The administration will get in things not pertaining to them but will NOT be involved in situations happening in the school, such as bullying. This school is a waste a my time, our time, and my money.Back to Pasadena ISD :)

As a student who used to be at this school. All I could say is this school was a meh. Not the best on my list but still. I loved that I got to learn Chinese (not Spanish because I already knew it) and learned about a whole other culture. I was in the 5th grade and the teachers were okay. Classmate jeez, sorry to say but the kids got attitude for days and drama for weeks. If you want your child to get bullied then...all on you. Also the ladies at the front office are super rude. In my opinion the school was a blow. Total disappointment to me and my family. But I loved my teachers especially the Chinese teacher. One teacher Id like to Shout-out for literally discouraging there students is Ms. Rodriguez, 5th grader teacher, and Id know because I experienced it first hand. But Id like to say that Im now at a better school, that actually helps there students learn and grow.

Receptionist with no experience, no positive attitude no patient, no good manners and absolutely not excellent communication skills, i went to Withdraw my kids, Yes Withdraw, they ask me for my kids name and asked me for my license told me to have a seat, I waited 45 minutes I stand up ask how long its going to take, then another reception a told me that I have to wait till the next day for the papers to be ready after waiting 45 minutes, when the next day my paper was not ready, finally it took 10 minutes and they give me my information then I need it., No apologies. Not happy with this school waiting time is ridiculous for every single thing, but when they have complained about your kids they call you right away they expect you to be there as soon as possible.Silvia Garcia,Natali, and to all the receptionist, need to be retrained, they really dont have passion for the work
