This is my baby first day at Sterling. To see the smile on her face when old friends came to hug her was a blessing for me.I did not want my child at Sterling either. Now I know she is in the better place. I am very protection of my child. Not because she is in Life Skill but because she is mine. Thanks everyone for the great words about Sterling.

In the last four years Ive been at Ross Shaw Sterling Aviation High , Ive had the pleasure of getting to know many of the student, teachers and staff. Bumped heads with three employees but resolved the issues. True enough STERLING Aviation High School have a bad reputation, but only because of the area its in and the high gang violence, but theres gang violence in every school as well as mismanaged and misbehaved students in every school. When I allowed my children to attend Ross Shaw in the beginning I was afraid and very upset that my child had to attend this school. Dale Mitchell assured me that my child was in perfectly good hands. He took very good care of my daughter and any issues that came up which wasnt many. He made a promise to me and he stuck by it. He loved the children and showed his love daily.My child was and is the school mascot. This school year Ive had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Fuentes this man has also been amazing. He is truly trying to right the wrong of the reputation of this school. Ive always told people its not the school its the people and you dont have to be a part of the people. Yes there are teachers there that pick on the students and those that sit there picture taking all day, but the school is great. And the new administrative staff is trying to rebuild the school. Needless to say this is my daughters last year but I have other kids here as well as nieces and nephews and Im here too support not break down this school. So Im glad got the people that are trying to rebuild this school for the better.

My grandbabby graduated from sterling this year .She saod that the studendts from the school has no manners they leave food and trash on the tables and also be fights there almost every day.... Im glad she got out of there but my opinion this school is a place that i wont send my grand child to attend to over all the principle mr.fuentes is very nice an always find a way to make things right for the students.

Its not the teachers falt the the kids dont come to school its the parents falt because they the parents dont care and Im a senior at sterling and I love it there its a good place to go

Some teacher dont have control over their classrooms,students roaming the hallways, when the know they should be in class. One teacher told me that she didnt cared if we pass ,and be her class again l, shes still is going to get paid!😡😡😡

This school is horrible I attened there last year and the bathrooms were dusqusting the teachers dont care if you Even come to class and the uniform just makes it worst thumbs down sterling

I hate this place its like a prison they yell at you and disrespect you like its ok to do so honestly this school is so horrible it should shut down it has so many problems
