This community has been marvelous for both my physical and mental health. I’ve done may therapies, gyms, and defense classes with the hope to help me heal from my traumas, but with no REAL support loss of funds were my only gain from those. The instructors here are so understanding and truly contribute their time, energy, and knowledge to guide you to a better zen state of mind for all you need in life. It’s been intense but assisting in my self and emotional awareness. I’m learning so much about the body an brain with this studio. I still have a long way to go but I’m fortunate because I won’t be left behind. Thank you so much to all the Masters! See you tomorrow and the next day! ☺️

I can truly say. Body and Brain Yoga Tai Chi is the best of the best. The training is excellent. The love that they show is remarkable. Its like you are with your own loving family. I would give them 100 points and recommend everyone there. I had a problem with my stomach and now my stomach feels a lot better. Thanks so much. I will always go there.👏

Body and brain has changed my life. The masters are well trained and they help take care of their clients. Their yoga and tai chi really help open up your chakras which bring healing to your body and mind.. They teach you to become the master of your brain.

I love Dahn yoga! It has changed my life for the better in many ways. As we get older it becomes more important to keep and maintain a strong flexible body with good balance. Yoga helps me achieve and maintain that body. The mantra in yoga is, just do your best. There is no competition with anyone but yourself. Just do your best.I practice yoga at the center on Richmond avenue in Houston. My yoga masters are master Yana and master Carla. Master Carla leads most of the classes. She is very encouraging to everyone who attends. Master Yana is my original yoga master. Her encouragement is part of the reason I have continued yoga for the past 8 years.I love the exercises. I love the movements but most of all I love the serene spirit that one can achieve with yoga. My family, friends, and co-workers all noticed the change in me. They all like the yoga me more than the old me. Me too!I highly recommend Dahn Yoga to all. Young older, good physical shape, not so good physical shape. Improvement and serenity is available to all. Just come join and do your best!!

This company is unprofessional AND a total scam. I would advise staying away and looking for a different Tai Chi center. The owner literally laughed at me on the phone when I told her what I needed help with. And then tried to force me to sign a multi-thousand dollar year-long contract after the complimentary assessment. When I said I wanted time to think about it she then tried to extort a deposit to save the proposed discount. There are honestly much better places to go for those interested in genuine healing and good instruction.

I really enjoy the on-line classes. When I started Body and Brain, I felt very tired and stressed. The on-line classes, which are led live by an instructor, are wonderful The breathing and mediation are my favorite :)

I greatly enjoy the online classes. I’ve been attending the Thursday evening class via Zoom for several months now, best thing you can do for exercise that gets you ready for a good night sleep. The dahn mu do/taichi classes by Master Jessica are excellent! - Highly recommend.

I have been taking evening online classes since August and I really like them. After a long of work at the desk, the classes relax me both body and my mind. My years of shoulder pain is almost gone. Very good feeling.

I have been attending classes at Dahn yoga for the past 4 years. The instructors at West Park are excellent and strive to explain exactly what they are doing and why. This is not your typical yoga class, but if you come with an open mind, this practice will literally change your life, physically, mentally, and open you spiritually as well.They have taught me breath work, how to manage stress, how to accumulate energy in my body, and how to focus on the body mind connection. The workshops that they offer help you to discover your true self and are very beneficial in addition to the regular classes.They offer different types of classes throughout the week, so there is no chance of getting bored, and each class is individualized towards the participants needs. If youre coming from traditional yoga, I suggest you spend some time talking with the Master prior to your first class to become educated to the Dahn yoga practice and what it offers people. Then after class ask some of the regulars how has Dahn Yoga changed their life.

Dahn Yoga center is more that yoga. Dahn yoga is a holistic practice that helps to improve the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual condition of the participant.I have practiced this healing method for 6 years and it has helped me to balance my mind body soul connection making me a more peaceful, less emotional and healthier person.Their exercises, and meditations introduce the idea that we are all made equally by energy, and using energy (light, sound and vibration), we can heal ourselves. By connecting with the energy, or Life Particles we can deeply connect with ourselves our True Self, not the roles we play in our daily life. With deep Life Particle meditation we can surrender our past history and begin living from the core of who we truly are. When we remember who we are we can lead our lives authentically, we can improve ourselves, our relationships, our society...and the world.

My membership with Body and Brain expired; but, in my heart I will be a member forever. While I was attending classes and workshops, the experiences were for a lifetime. The Masters taught me so much, valuable information and lessons that I use today in teaching and in everyday life. Body and Brain is like no other yoga center/ studio, their principles and classes are simple and make a profound impact in my life and those of whom I teach. I would highly recommend this practice, it WILL change your life.

I move around the city a lot for work and every time I take a class at this Center I leave to energized and calm at the same time. The instructors are very experienced and know exactly how to help you and guide you. This is the best yoga studio in the area!

With a series of stretching a breathing exercises help the body and mind to relax and achieve not only a healthier lifestyle but also to connect your your inner self. The classes and healing sessions have been incredible. I had pain from an old knee injury. I scheduled some sessions with Master Kourtney. My experience with Dahn Yoga was profound. When I started, I was overweight and had an extreme level of stress throughout my body. I could not walk up one flight of stairs without considerable knee pain. After my first class I felt so much better, a quiet mind and a sense of well being. After about eight months, I had lost 70 pounds and my knees were flexible without constant pain. Because of this experience, I have continued for six years and have experienced continuous physical, emotional and mental improvement. I am grateful every day that I found this practice.

Dahn Yoga is the best place in the universe to clear your mind, soothe your soul, and help your body to feel great. It is truly powerful. I prayed to God to help me find healing and I was lead to Dahn Yoga. I personally have been relieved of chronic and acute pain from my back. I am still in progress but I have come a long way and I want to go all the way, no matter how long it takes. I now have confirmed the belief that there is help for me and I found it at Dahn Yoga. Whatever condition your body or health is currently, Dahn Yoga will help it be better. I see people everyday under stress and how it affects their lifestyle. Ever since I started the training here has been a live changing for me. Adding this to my healing proccess from autoimmune disorder has completely helped me revers my condition. Due to the high stress level in my life and work Ive become very ill, depleting hormones and very high cortisone stagnant in my joints, undermine tissue muscles and very tight tendons and ligaments which cause a lot of pain to my body but after being introduced to dahn yoga classes at Westpark center I found a new family with the personalized one to one caring classes. and started to healing in less than 2 months Ive seen improvements and healing my hormones level raise up and my serotonin level makes me feel better. I have a lot more energy and feel happier. found out that my body is not me but mine. I lost weight 2 sizes and sleep much better.

I joined the West Park Dahn Yoga two months ago. I was extremely stressed and unemployed, and was looking for a better way to deal with stress and emotions. Within a few sessions I started to feel the stress leaving my body. Master Auhsang and his staff are very attentive and encouraging. They helped me understand what I am capable of. I am already seeing benefits such as increased confidence, less joint pain, increased flexibility, better concentration, calmness and a positive happy outlook on life. I look forward to yoga training and have incorporated it into my daily routine.

I was concerned with their interest in getting me to pay for/buy things. The instructor started in on a hard sell and then denied she was trying to exert presssure. So I also worried about issues of honesty.If you are led into a small room all by your self and asked to lay down on a mat, you mighy watch out. Its about getting you to sign up that day.I dont feel I can return, and Im sorry about that, since I thought the class was very good.

I am a very spiritual person. I knew I have many gifts of healing and seeing peoples soul, but I was all out of whack! Yana told me I was all over the place mentally and she was right! I smile everyday and I have noticed I am more personal with my children and mother whom mean the world to me! This is only day 3 and I feel so free mentally! I have never felt like I was at home like I do here! Yana and Marcela have taken me in like family! I am training to become a yoga teacher and I feel like I couldnt have picked a better place! I am very picky with my choice in where I planned to become a great yoga and healing instructor. I cant believe how connected I am spiritually with this place! I love Dahn Yoga/West Park Center. The Instructors are very caring and welcoming.Im glad I found Dahn Yoga. Dahn Yoga changed my life! I was very stressed and out of shape before I came in. I tried a personal trainer and then did yoga for a while but these things just seem to perpetuate judgement. I wanted to go to a place where I did not feel judged or like I was in competition with others. I love Dahn Yoga because everyone is genuine from the staff members to the clients. They educate you regarding the mind, body and soul, unlike other places. If you are stressed, depressed, out of shape, or just searching for direction and purpose, this is the place to come!
