My son has been at the Goddard School in Hudson for 3 years, since he was a baby. We love the quality of care that he receives on a daily basis. His teachers are always happy to see him, even the other teachers that are not his know his name. The teachers have fun activities for them to do, they work on letter recognition and they learn a lot of social skills. The classrooms are clean and inviting. The newer gym is an awesome place for the kids to play on rainy/snowy days. The office staff is friendly and are always available to talk if I have any questions. Overall I (and my son) are very happy with this school!

You can tell a lot about someones character in times of duress. In regards to COVID , the owners did a fantastic job foreshadowing possible outcomes as guidance changed and were very transparent when communicating actions taken to make sure families were safe. The teachers and staff are very friendly and genuinely care about the childrens education and well being. We were very fortunate to have our children enrolled over the last year. A+++

Our son has attended Goddard School Hudson since he was 9 weeks old. The staff is, and always has been, wonderful. You can tell the owners and staff (office and teachers) have formed wonderful relationships with the children, and they all care about the children like their own. My son looks forward to attending school during the week, and he receives a wonderful education. He definitely has interest in STEAM subjects, which they emphasize in the curriculum, and he flourishes at Goddard School Hudson. We would highly recommend the school to everyone!

The Goddard School of Hudson will run your money dry… they will tell you that they are doing fun things with your children that are not true, they will tell you that your children are getting quality snacks which is not true, they will tell you that everything is clean and sanitized which is not true, they will tell you that they are good people but they will talk behind your back, they will act like they treat their employees the right way but really treat them horribly including the pay that they are giving to them, they will leave their employees sitting in the classroom without bathroom breaks because they are shortstaffed, they will encounter a Covid positive person and not tell anyone, along with many other lies they will tell and or keep from you. Do not send your child here. Jeff and nancy only want your money and do not care about you at all. Melanie and Suzanne especially included.

Unfortunately this Goddard school is not living up to its name. Enrolled my son based on their good name on the internet. My son attended for 2 years, both pre and during pandemic. Office staff is not friendly toward parents or students. My son never had an evaluation or any type of conferences with the teachers. When administration was asked about this, they claim he has but Ive never been shown any documentation. Also, my son did not have a teacher for over 6 months. They claimed the office staff was filling in on a daily basis. We were all still expected to pay full price knowing the curriculum was not being followed regularly. All of the booklets and pamphlets you receive are purely for show. There is no cultural or foreign language education. Its a glorified daycare. And dont believe the ratios they tell you! They continue to accept more and more students without telling you until they are up to max state ratios! My son rarely, if ever, came home with papers or projects. Also, 0-1 picture updates sent throughout the day. They make you pay more $$ if you would like your child to make a mothers/fathers day gift. His new day care he is always coming home with papers he drew/colored and other projects (at no extra cost to us!). Gave mothers and fathers day gifts made by my child. Help your child make you a birthday card. Detailed conferences every semester with evaluations and learning metrics spelled out for you. Also lunch is provided and they take the kids on field trips. They are familiar with the local Kindergarten curriculum and pre-K is tailored to that. They have pastry and coffee for parents occasionally in the morning to come visit the classroom to feel involved and see what has been going on. Also, lots of communication on the app, not just here and there. These are all the basics of a good preschool/daycare, along with the safety and security of your child of course. I was very displeased when any criticism or concern was voiced, the staff immediately dismissed you and Jeff told me my child no longer needs to attend and would not answer any of my questions which I had been asking throughout the year.

The Goddard school has been absolutely amazing to our son. Jeff & Nancy are so kind. You can tell they really love being apart of the children & community Goddard school offers. The staff is amazing, the little photos & videos we get throughout the day gives us something to look forward to! 100% recommend this school to anyone.

I called to ask for pricing for budgeting purposes and the gentleman I spoke with said BYE and hung up on me. If these are the sort of people this school has around to set examples for children, I wouldnt send my kids there if it were free.

The Goddard School of Hudson is not a good daycare to send your child. First off, there’s a pandemic going on and the building isn’t even being cleaned in a professional manner. There’s actually urine left on toilet seats, and the floors that your child crawls on all day, isn’t ever mopped correctly. To top it off, a staff member just got COVID the other week and they decided to keep the building open, even though every teacher shared the same bathroom, which means every single teacher had cross contamination. On a note of their teacher staff, they have been understaffed for many years now and do not follow ratio guidelines. The staff uses “tadpoles” to make you, parents feel at ease throughout the day, but everything they post is a lie. Wondering why the owners charge you so much per month? The staff is too, because there are no toys in the classrooms, no crafts provided, and no outside balls for these children to play with. The classrooms have NOTHING. Each staff member? They work a 10 hour shift with no bathroom breaks and on a good day, a 45 minute break to quickly eat their lunch. Some days they get 15-20 minutes. Isn’t that illegal? To say the least, the owners actually took away the teachers PTO away. But, they still wonder why their turn over rate is so high. The office staff gossips about all teachers and even families. So beware, they may seem nice to your face, but they actually spread very mean things about your family to the whole school. Be careful.

We have 2 preschool kids (4 and 2 years old) attending Goddard Hudson and we are so happy to be part of this amazing school! From its directors/owners to its teachers, everyone is so nice and professional. On the academic side, they help all kids to learn as their own pace but motivate them to give their best every day. It is amazing to see very little kids enjoying and having fun while they are learning. They are very flexible and helpful when you need them. I would highly recommend Goddard Hudson to any of my friends! Thank you Goddard!

We started my 3 year old son here about 6 weeks ago so he could engage in more educational and social activities (more than I could provide at home). Goddard School was highly recommend by three of my close girlfriends, that also have small children. He absolutely loves it. I have really appreciated their professionalism, and the variety of activities my son does in a day! We can really tell a difference in him. Its also nice that they all know his name when we walk in. I would highly recommend.

My three- and five-year-old are both enrolled at Goddard in Hudson. They are both absolutely thriving. The balance of structure and fun activities makes it both enjoyable and beneficial for them.Jeff, Nancy, and Melanie have been so flexible and understanding of the crazy schedules and changing needs of working parents. One of our favorite things is their Babysitting Night, where we bring the kids for a pizza and pajama party on a Saturday evening. It allows us an easy way to get out for a few hours, so we can relax and know that our boys are with their friends, and being cared for by people we trust. The entire staff is so professional, patient, and loving. Some people will make working moms feel bad about taking their kids to daycare. I can say without a doubt that this is so good for them...and me.I would highly recommend Goddard in Hudson to any friend!

Both my daughters went here from the time they were three! I have seen this school almost from inception. To be honest, I was concerned when I started sending my second one, assuming that they wouldnt be as enthusiastic about providing quality care as they were when my older one went there given the fact that they were an established business. But honestly, they have remained the same since the day they started. The warm greeting of the staff when you go to drop or pick up your child, taking care of your kids with utmost love and affection, a wonderful curriculum, respecting your childs want of space, etc. My little one is a very shy kid not prone to talk outside home. The teachers have never made her feel like she wasnt welcome in any of the class activities. She talks so affectionately of all her teachers there! I have to thank Jeff and Nancy for the amazing work they are doing and a big thank you to all the teachers who have given so much love, affection and care to both my daughters, especially the little one, who was always made to feel like she wasnt any different just because she wouldnt speak in class. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Weve been sending our kids to Goddard in Hudson for two years now. They attend full-time five days a week and weve been so pleased with every facet of this school. I think the great management team has a large part to do with the success of this school. The flexibility, customer service, and welcoming spirit of the management team makes this an easy school for busy parents to partner with. They are very supportive of their staff of teachers who are incredibly nurturing with our kids and creative with their daily activities. There is a very low turnover rate with this staff, which is typically hard to find within the demands of the daycare industry but again it speaks volumes of the teamwork and support provided to the staff members. My kids are thrilled to go to school each day and their teachers have helped my kids conquer everything from potty-training and shoe-tying to science experiments and sight words. My oldest is well-prepared to enter kindergarten and the social skills and manners theyve learned make us proud parents.

My son loves it here, has been a student since 2 yo. He also was recently diagnosed with celiac disease and other food allergies and the staff and leadership at Goddard have been amazing in wanting to create a safe environment for my son. I am so grateful that we have such a safe place for him to learn while we are at work!

The school has really gone down hill. The director is very dismissive to any parent complaints especially with staff. The owner is dismissive to complaints that the director is not doing her job. Theres often yelling at children from several teachers in the preschool with young children crying and acting out due to the high stress environment. Tactics and teaching practices can be cruel, like putting shoes on wrong feet and forcing kids to walk around like that during the day. They sell you a daycare program that is always open when you tour and once you are locked in You are surprised with weeks of additional closures throughout the year forcing working parents who pay a ridiculous monthly tuition fee already to take off work because they are not open. Its often dirty In the classrooms with urine on the toilets and floors and teachers come to school with runny noses and coughs contributing to the illness cycle in the classrooms. It was not worth the money, The constant closure days and the rude and inexperienced teachers and dismissive staff. We are right down the road at a wonderful preschool/daycare where the teachers and staff are lovely and the school is only closed for major holidays. I would discourage anyone needing daycare to find somewhere else for your kids. There is much better out there right around every corner.

Both of our children attended Goddard, our daughter started at age 18 months and our son began at age 10 weeks. While there seems to be a ongoing rotation of teaching staff, each caregiver and teacher has been wonderful with our children. The school itself has worked with my family to make sure all of our childcare needs are met (including supporting my use of breastmilk and cloth diapers for the kids). My daughter has flourished there and has a strong base of knowledge to start preschool.

Overall its been a great place but you cant pay online and they close more days during the year than other childcare facilities in the area. They already added an additional closure this month and now adding the entire week of Christmas till the new year forcing me to take time off work to match their schedule. I am a working parent and first and foremeost I need reliable childcare while I work. Since all the other daycares in the area are open I will probably need to move my child before the end of the year.

My daughter attends pre-k at Goddard School in Hudson part time and I cannot express how incredible her experience has been. She has learned so much this past year and is more than ready for kindergarten--I owe this to her teachers! She also absolutely loves this school. I was worried because we moved her in the fall and the majority of her class had been together since they were babies. She had no problem with the transition whatsoever. Everyone is very friendly and shes made a lot of really great friends this year.My eighteen month old son also attends part time and while hes a bit of a challenge for me at home, I am told he is a laid back joy at school! Im glad he loves school as much as his sister and Im looking forward to him growing up with Goddard.Nancy and Jeff are extremely flexible with me, which was important because my job is unpredictable. Ive been allowed to add days when necessary or add full days in a pinch. Just the fact that they allow part-time care for babies was huge! I highly recommend this school, especially for pre-k--its like a little pre-kindergarten boot camp with the perfect balance of education and fun. LOVE.
