I’m a local chef & go to this store frequently & honestly.. this location needs to do better. Stock & services are standard, this review is about the staff. Their are some younger women who work at this location that are friendly, and always greet + offer coffee. Then there are some older women who have a very let’s say “dated,” point of view about retail. They pick & choose who they provide with a welcoming retail experience based on skin color. There is no room for these attitudes in modern society, if you are so biased, you do not need to be in front facing retail, find a job you can do from home. I will be emailing corporate to share these same thoughts about how they are failing to maintain corporate ethics.

No returns starting yesterday. I brought something last weekend and its on sale now. Came in for price adjustment and was told they are not honoring the return policy in Huntersville. Thankfully still can go to Southpark location to return but what an inconvenience. Will not be buying anything here until they are rock bottom priced since cant return. Might as well just wait until it shows up at discounters at this point.

In need of a birthday gift, I stopped by Sur La Table on Sam Furr Rd on an impulse before grocery shopping. The customer service I received was first rate. Lauren greeted me at the door, answered questions, helped me find items, looked up prices and overall was very personable. The gentleman who cashed me out was also helpful and personable. Given the enjoyable experience, it’s likely I’ll be a recurring customer.

Could not have had a better first impression or shopping experience! The staff was friendly, not aggressive in terms of sales, and extremely emotionally intelligent. Combine that with some seriously impressive cookware and accessories at a quite reasonable price and I will absolutely return to this store as much as my wallet allows. It’s really sad that this is a store I spend money in take classes at and when my husband and I walk with our son in a stroller we get followed around the store and as people walk in the employees ask everyone if they need help, yet here we are looking for something and couldn’t even get asked if we need help. I must say I am disappointed how I went into the store to pick out my anniversary gift and walked out because we were being “ racially profiled” sad that my son has to grow up in an environment like this!!!!! I have always loved Sur La Table’s brand but today I was very disappointed and won’t return.

I am a kitchen gadget junkie. This location has kind staff that was very helpful in assisting me find the key pieces to finish some Christmas shopping.

After my experience yesterday, I would rather take the extra time to go to the Sur La Table in South Park. My fiance and I came here yesterday since we had a $200 gift card. Once we walked in, the employees didnt ask if they could help or offer us any coffee. My fiance and I are not Caucasian. A Caucasian male walked in 5 mins after us and they asked if they could help AND offered him coffee. My fiance then went to go double check if an item was 20% off. The cashier rudely said, Its not 20% off, its only 20% off of clearance. My fiance said, Theres a sign that says 20% off, can you double check? When the cashier checked, it was 20% off! We left everything we were going to buy after this happened and never coming back here again :)

The lady i spoke too had no clue what she was selling or what I was looking for. I overpaid for everything because obviously it was on amazon for alot less but id rather shop in a store.

Do you think they could update on Google maps that the location is no longer open?
