I love this acting studio. It’s very professional and fun. Not only they do an excellent job teaching their students but they also give you tools to move forward. They have a very positive vibe. Very responsible and safe during the pandemic. Lynn is absolutely passionate about her job and she’s always pushing us to do better.

I love Take 2 Actor’s studio! One of the best places for acting classes. I am currently taking Lynn’s adult class and boy oh boy has it been life changing. Creative environment and people! Even during pandemic restrictions, everything has been fun and invigorating. Not only do they teach you, but they help inspire you. Lynn has given everything I expected and more. Her passion is genuine and clearly loves what she does.

I started taking classes here during COVID to keep busy and push myself out of my comfort zone. I’m now in my third semester, having learned from both Regina and Lynn who have both been absolutely amazing. They constantly push you and inspire you to be the best you can. Lynns enthusiasm for her students is evident in every class. Learning from her has been amazing.

Now and then, you meet a person who shows you what it means to be dedicated, selfless, and a very caring person. First, let me tell you how I came to Take 2 Actors Studio. Having moved out to Long Island 3 years ago, I was ready to enjoy my retirement doing something I had fantasized about since I was a child; acting. The idea of pursuing this career early on did not work out due to many variables and obstacles, and it took nearly a lifetime even to try. I did some research and found Take 2 Actors Studio offered adult acting classes. I was too late as the class was already filled. Regina Schneider did reach out to me several months later and asked for a headshot for consideration as an extra on a local feature movie. I was lucky and chosen for a one-day shoot. Between takes, all I heard were the praises of Take 2 Actors Studio and Regina Schneider.Everyone said this was a great place to learn the ropes, and I needed to get myself into a class, and I did. My first class was under the tutelage of Lynn Antunovich, an actor herself and now a director. She knows the ropes because she has been there, and she shares her knowledge with every one of her students. Being taught by an actor/director is integral to the novice acting student. Is there a better way than to be guided by someone who has been there and knows what is necessary to be a believable actor? Not only is she a great knowledge source, but she also takes an interest in every one of her students and shows a great deal of pride in their successes. I have taken several classes taught by Lynn, and she is the reason I am still interested in this path. After my first class, I realized how competitive this industry is and how much I needed to improve. She encouraged me not to give up. I am still learning, and Im progressing in so many ways. I have taken several classes with Regina and Lynn, and now I know firsthand why so many people rave about Take 2 Actors Studio.

Such a pleasure learning the art from an amazingly talented genuinely kind and all around great person like owner Regina Schneider. I have meet some wonderful supportive people doing this. Looking forward to taking more classes with Take 2 Actors Studo in the future.

TL;DR: Take a class, and I promise you wont regret it; youll probably end up taking more.I dont come from a background in acting, or possess any savvy related to it, so when I became interested in learning about it and went searching for a place to learn, many of the options I saw were either intimidating or seemed like commercial cash-grabs. Take 2 is the absolute antithesis of both of those, and I feel very lucky to have wandered into it.Regina, the owner and an accomplished actress herself, is warm, kind, and very accommodating. She let me trial the classes rather extensively before I attended to feel more comfortable with them, but that was not even necessary, as the class environment is so open, honest, and accepting that most anyone could feel comfortable immediately. While she does give direct notes on what she sees to help you improve, much of her instructive method brings you to notice things that you can work on by yourself, and in this way equips you with the tools you need to continue to grow outside of the classes as well as inside. She is also very candid about her time spent working, and has a wealth of knowledge and personal experience to share about how best to audition, work on different types of roles, and navigate around the industry in general.The class sizes are small (between 10-20 people) which means that one gets a significant amount of personal attention, but one can also learn extensively from ones classmates, who in my experience represent a truly diverse mix of people who are totally new to acting, studying it in school, or are working actors themselves. Adding to that there are a wide array of options for classes geared towards different experience levels and areas of study to provide specifically the course that you may be looking for.The result of all of this is a top-notch learning experience and the empowerment to do whatever you would like with it, without having to worry about being put in an uncomfortable situation. Some of my classmates have already found work in TV, plays, and other endeavors, and some are simply happy to have taken the classes. I can tell you that I am certainly better off for having done it. Regina is awesome! I love working with her. I feel like she elevates my performance and brings my acting chops to a whole new level. She has great insight and creates a space of safety that allows actors to explore and improve their craft in a concrete and rewarding way. She is an excellent teacher who both challenges you to do your best and encourages you to take risks and fail gloriously in the process of improving that best. I highly recommend working with her.

I have been with Take 2 Actors Studio since September of 2018. It has been quite a journey for me since the first time I walked up that steep narrow staircase at the Bare Bones Theatre in East Northport, N.Y.for my first acting class of Intro Into Acting under the teaching of Regina Schneider. And saying to my self at the same time with all the butterflies of the world inside of me Frankie just turn around. What are you doing? LOL. Well thankfully I continued my walk up those stairs and I have never looked back down them since!!! :) Since September of 2020 I have been blessed to having my acting skills increased ten fold by my acting teacher Lynn Antunovich!! Lynn is the other hand that molds me into the actor I have become. The audition work I have done in 2021 and being cast for roles are all due in part to the insight and having realization that my teacher Lynn Antunovich has made that happen to for me!!! We all love Lynn and there is rarely a class where Lynn can leave on time because we will not let her go because al of us want more of her knowledge.To observe Lynn work in class is beautiful for me. To watch her so sighted into her students as they perform and then give her constructive notes and then watch the next take become so much more !!! I can finish by saying Lynn Antunovich is absolutely why Take 2 Actors Studio has expanded to the new location in Huntington Village, N.Y..All my chips are in with Take 2 Actors Studio under Lynn and Regina. Regina is an amazing teacher!!! She gives you the individual attention in a classroom setting. Furthermore, she is patient and supportive. Her teaching allows you to build confidence as an actor to go deeper, explore, and bring the script to life. Thus far, I have taken the Intro to Acting class; I am currently taking the Actors Gym class and already looking forward to the next class. In addition to becoming an actor, I am able to apply what I learn in class to improve in areas of my personal and professional life. It is therapeutic in its own way. As a community theater actor primarily, acting jobs are catch as catch can. And, as the saying goes...if you are not acting, take classes. But where? Many actors believe NYC is the only reliable source of classes, But in the heart of Huntington ( a Long Island go to community), there is a special place for new and experienced actors. Take 2 Actors Studio is run by the accomplished an currently working film and TV actress, Regina Schneider. If you read the other reviews you will see that they are uniformly glowing. She is a caring and nurturing person and treats actors of all levels equally. A participant in her class learns not only from her direct instruction but from observing other actors. No matter if its honing a monologue, prepping for an audition, performing a scene study, or filming on camera work; Reginas attention to detail is unmatchable.. I doubt one can find a better all encompassing teacher and studio. No matter your level of confidence or ability, this is definitely the place to be!

I have taken many classes over the years with Regina at Take 2 Actor’s Studio. I continue to take classes because Regina is an amazing teacher, always working to get the best from her students, always pushing us further when she sees we are ready. Regina creates a wonderful sense of camaraderie and support among her students rather than competition. She is always ready to support us and answer our questions whether in class or out. Regina also poses questions to us to dig deeper into our characters and scenes. Each class also has acting exercises to get us prepared. Regina is a working actor and truly understands what it means to bring the words in a script to life! She brings the best out in all of her students, many like myself, who continue to work with Regina year after year.

One of the best decisions I ever made was taking Reginas Class! I met my classmates that have now become some of my dearest friends and we all learned so much from Regina. Regina isnt only an amazing and talented acting teacher, shes also a wonderful person. She truly cares about her students on and off the stage, and creates an environment in class where you can express yourself creatively and not feel judged. You will work on vocal exercises, monologues, and a scene, while also being given a chance to perform that scene with a partner in a showcase at the end of class. You will learn not only by performing in front of others and receiving instruction, but also by watching others perform and listening to Reginas direction and feedback. Perhaps most importantly, you will meet all different kinds of people and build lasting friendships.Being a student of hers for a couple years now, its been exciting to watch Take 2 grow, and its a testament to Reginas teaching ability, talent, and good nature. Ive taken other classes on Long Island, but nothing compares to the various classes taught by Regina and the other teachers at Take 2 such as John Dorcic and Lynn Antunovich. In regards to acting and performing, Take 2 has something to offer everyone of all ages. If youre even the slightest bit curious of acting, sing up for a class at Take 2. You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

My daughter at 11 wanted to give acting a try. She wasn’t sold until the last couple weeks when she realized all she had learned and how much she had loved learning it. Regina really gives her soul to this craft. She spends so much time and effort finding pieces for young actors to work on. These pieces are relevant to their young developing lives. Regina creates a safe place to work together and independently. The experience is unbelievable. Run, dont walk when registration opens.
