Ive been a student for over 10 years and love this school. Miss DeeAnna is an excellent instructor who emphasizes proper technique and dancing on proper sprung flooring (which is much easier on joints) - this kind of quality instruction allows her dancers to flourish which is why she has trained quite a number of dancers to the champion level. She has in-depth knowledge of sports medicine and has helped me take care of injuries properly. At 41, I am considered pretty old for an Irish dancer but this school is very adult-friendly and does not discourage adults from performing or from aspiring to any level they wish.

Ive been dancing at Toráin Academy since 2017 and love it! The owner and instructor is wonderful and very knowledgeable not just about Irish dance, but also body mechanics. The other students and families are welcoming and support one another. Classes are offered for all ages and levels, and there are opportunities to compete if desired.

DeeAnna is an excellent teacher. Shes extremely patient with the young kids and great at building up techniques from the building blocks.

My girls have danced with Ms. DeeAnna for about 3 years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. We like the athleticism of Irish Dance and the music. Ms. DeeAnna is a knowledgeable teacher and works hard to instruct her students well. I recommend Torain Academy if you are interested in Irish dance.

My girls have loved dancing with DeeAnna Heym at Torain Academy! Weve been dacing with her for 3 years. DeeAnna is a very knowledgable teacher, and she loves her students. She has a degree in exercise science and is excellent at judging when her students are ready to attempt new things without causing injury. Several times she has noticed problems starting with my girls and helped them with stretches or strengthening exercises. Students at Torain can come weekly and dance for fun or they can take it a little further and compete. DeeAnna always has my girls ready when competition time arrives. She is encouraging and motivating but never raises her voice to the girls.

When I try to call them they wont answer the phone or anything

Horrible customer service: I wrote an email and a message on FB, asking how to join the class - no answer. Simply rude.
