Fresh cut after work. This is a barber school, so I was a little nervous. However, the lady that cut my hair, Tressa, did an absolutely exceptional job, especially with her being so new to the game. She had confidence, and some amazing instructors. Made me feel right at home. Highly recommendable. Ill definitely be returning. 😁 ✂️

I called to ask about a haircut for my son . The lady that answered the phone said last walk in was 3:30pm . We arrived @ 3:30 on the dot . Once we walked in it was several minutes before we were greeted or acknowledged. When the director came to the register she said I don’t have anybody that could take you . I told her well I called . Lady started yelling well that is before I had two walk ins ! I told her to lower her tone & that where was her manager. She replied I am the director! I said well that is sad you need customer service skills since you are teaching young men & women . I’m not sure why the director would be so disrespectful but I will not be spending my money here . I was not gonna get indignant in front of my children ! I advise all people of color to say away from this place whether student or customer . You don’t need a Karen teaching you Jack . Will never return.

This place is AMAZING!! Angela the instructor is a true guru of the industry and is vigilant in her teaching. The atmosphere is fun, lively and professional! Would recommend for anyone serious about starting a journey in the Barber World.

This school is amazing! The instructors genuinely care for each and every student that walk through the doors. I am enrolled in their crossover program and haven’t regretted it at all. I have learned so much since I started here and can’t wait to see how far my skills progress.

Brighton Barber Institute is a great place to be at whether you are a student or a customer. I enrolled in the month of February and not once have I regretted choosing this school. Our instructor Angela is amazing at what she does, and she is dedicated to help us improve in every aspect possible. Im glad to be apart of this school.

I am a student that is graduating in a week. I have been very happy here. Being a barber is my second career. I was a teacher for 18 yrs I can honestly say the instructors here are amazing and professional. i have learned so much in 7 months and feel confident in my abilities and what I have learned from Angela.

Absolute great School to attend if your looking to get your Barbers license, very fun and professional environment. The Instructor’s are very helpful and have a Ton of experience in the industry, would definitely recommend to come in and take a tour of the school if your looking to be a student.

This is my first visit to Brighton Barber Institute and was met by Joey Chacon, Director of Curriculum, who turn me over to one of their best hair stylist Angel Del Solar. He gave me then best haircut and facial trim I ever received. He is definitely a master at craft. I believe that I found a salon for my haircut and shave. I highly recommend this salon. Shout out to everybody, come to this place and you wont be disappointed.

Do yourself a favor and visit this place. First of all, the facility is amazing. Clean, fresh and stylish. The students are top notch and the instructor is always around to provide assistance and recommendations as needed/wanted. If you have never had a straight razor shave before, I highly recommend it. This was my first experience and it was fantastic. As men, we dont often get a chance or make the choice to treat ourselves to the little things. My face never felt so smooth. They offered recommendations which parts of my neck/face I should shave in which direction to reduce razor burn at home. I had one of the best haircuts and shave experience Ive ever had here. Definitely, check it out!

Im licensed to do hair in 7 states, Ive been to multiple schools to learn different techniques and also been an instructor at paul michelle for 2 yrs son needed a hair cut badly and my grandmother had just passed away so i wasnt about to cut his hair being mentally tired and he is at the age 8 where he wants someone else to do it because he says they arent rough with him granted i as his mother can hold his head straight instead of having to tell him to stop moving. So we decided to try this place out. Worse decision ever. The instructor cut his hair with students watching and for 20 dollars at a school for a child i shouldnt have had to go home and fix tje mistakes because it wasnt a student who cut his hair but i indeed had to go home after paying more then i would at a barber shop. To fix a fade with a side part and a simple design around his head.. Never again!

You will love Joeys passionate light hearted teaching. He gives it his all everyday. This place is classy, clean, chill, drama free and you will always find customers laughing with students having a good time or snoring from a relaxing shave. I looked at other barber schools all over DFW before choosing BBI and none of them offer so much education for such a fair price. Just made an ‘A’ on my Written Exam, going to spank that Practical soon too! Thank you Heather for creating such an amazing place, for not sparing any expense or detail and choosing Joey to direct. $15k and 1500 hours to attend this school is outrageous to become a barber, no way!! I was told that barber school was anywhere between $3 - 5k, wayyy too expensive!😖👎
