Got a facial by Emma. Super relaxing and left with glowing skin.Cut and color by Mackenzie. Super happy with the results! She look her time and was so sweet! Can’t beat the pricing and didn’t feel like these girls were still learning. They were both total pros!

Ok the color is amazing and the girl who did my hair was super nice. My only issue is how long it took to do it. My appointment was at 11 am and I didnt get out of there until 3pm. I will make sure I plan better next time. It was just one all over color but it is amazing and I love it.

It appeared that the student that did my nails was not ready to be working on clients. She was trying her best and the instructor just sat there on her phone. The instructor didnt even seem to acknowledge that the student was struggling. I will not be going back

You people make me nervous for future cosmetologists. I saw a post from one of your students who did extensions... my cosmetology school would have had me redo her whole head. She looked like she was in pain and the poor clients hair is probably going to break off. So very unprofessional of you. Do better. And don’t teach something you yourself doesnt even know how to do. It was obvious and it’s not okay.And as for your reply I would never call out the student as it is not her fault for the failure for you to teach her how to do things correctly. And if they did specialize in extensions that client would not have walked out with the tracks looking the way they did. Again, Austin Kade, do better.

I had my first appointment with Austin Kade tonight. The staff and environment was very professional and clean! I booked with the esthetician Nicole Taylor for an eyebrow and underarm wax. My eyebrows have NEVER been shaped better and I didn’t even feel my underarm wax! I highly recommend booking with Nicole Taylor for your next service!

Great quality of service and lots of service options. Everyone you talk to are friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. Instructors are super helpful and are always there to help. I got a full color treatment from Kailey G that turned out great! This is my go to place, even though I live out of state.

I wish they would have specified that the hot stone therapy was only 30 min long. Online when you book it says 1 hr 15min. For that price with only 30 min you could go to an actual spa. It was relaxing for the short time.

As a student, I find Austin Kade to be amazing! They truly care about you and help you in every way they can. I feel they cover the curriculum well and can always seem to explain things that are hard to understand.Growing up my family always used box hair dye from Walmart, so the switch to professional has been a struggle to understand. I received Back facial and Facial from Rachel Teater yesterday. It was amazing!!! She had knowledge to tell me about products and about my skin well. She is a massage therapist as well so she has more advanced hands techniques I felt that. I am highly recommended to get facial or any treatments from Rachel!!!

I got a beautiful perm by Lindsay Didier! It’s been nearly 2 weeks and I’m in love with my perm. The school atmosphere is so nice and inviting and Lindsay made it a quite enjoyable experience. Ty!!! Love my perm💚

I got a hot stone therapy massage from Bailey in the esthetics program today. It was fantastic! She was very professional and knowledgeable about the products and service. She made me feel very comfortable and I felt so much better after :)

I had the most relaxing and thoural spa facial from Vanessa Graham last week! She was incredibly knowledgeable about my skin and the products being used. I still have a glow in my skin. I would highly recommend Austin Kade and Vanessa !

I went with a friend to get pedicures... we were told we would get 2 pedicures for $40 including gel nail polish. When we got there we were toldthey miss booked us and didnt have time to do gel, and that they also miss quoted the price and would have had to charge us $70 for the two pedis had we actually been able to get what we scheduled. We asked if they would honor the price we were quoted, they said no... but didnt tell us until the end of our service.The pedicure was mediocre at best. Though the student who worked with me tried her best, there were some things out of her control that really put a huge damper on the experience. For example my friend and I didnt get to sit next to each other even though we booked together. Also because they had been busy they didnt have anymore hot water, and my foot soak was cold. The hot towels were too hot when the student went to get them and the poor student got burned, because of the burn the towels were actually cold by the time it got to me. While I realized experience was probably just a series of unfortunate events... the least the school could have done was honor the price they quoted us and offer to complete the pedicure with gel on another day. My main issue was the schools total lack of customer service. I ended up paying $20 for FAR less than had been advertised. I will not be returning to Austin Kade.

Donte colored my hair today and I had a great time sitting in his chair. He explained every step of the process to me. He showed me different colors that he could use and helped me pick one out that would complement my features.

I’m a past student at AKA and I absolutely loved that I had the opportunity to cross paths with one of the best instructors here! Latavia and Susan are the absolute best!!! They are both really knowledgeable and so caring towards their students!! They were my absolute two favorite instructors out of the whole school! I literally come back to get services just to see them too. So for any of you future esthetic students I highly recommend going to either one of them for questions! They are so helpful and you learn so much from them! They definitely deserve to be more recognized because what they do for us students there is simply AMAZING!! I was a student here! I am very thankful for the experience and the friendships built. I have to give a huge shoutout to Latavia Norris. She is such a great instructor so knowledgeable, patient and kindhearted! Any and every question I had, she had the answer to. And to those she didn’t know, she’d try her best to find an answer to. She is definitely a role model to me. And I continue to use her advice on my daily life.

As a student that has been graduated for a while now I still enjoy going back to visit! Latavia was a fantastic instructor with more knowledge than you would expect to learn! She has amazing teaching strategies that work for every type of student. I had such an enjoyable time around her! The school environment was definitely lovely but Latavia made learning enjoyable!

Student Kayla Shomaker is amazing, scalp treatment and hair cut did perfectly, I will be back, I love coming in, this time the Cindy instructor was an absolute horror she was rude wasnt paying attention to any of the students was more worried about how horrible it was that her husband had to pay child support on his kids, I will never come in if she here, once again Kayla was amazing, I hope u get the instructor attitude in check!

Excellent service and very friendly staff and students. If you want a fantastic hair cut, color, extensions, whatever, ask to schedule an appointment with one of the instructors named Nelly. She could take anyones hair and make it into a masterpiece. Seriously worth every penny!

I got my eyelashes lifted and tinted by Kenley almost a month ago and they still look so good! The lift is really holding up! It was a great experience and she was fun to talk to. I would suggest this to anyone! Make an appointment with Kenley she’s awesome!

Prices were decent, but they got the wrong color and expected us to pay to get it fixed. Also got bleach on a really new pair of jeans that weren’t cheap, unable to fix the jeans. I won’t be going back.

We went to the Woodruff Ave. Austin Kade Academy, where we met a truly talented young man who did wonderful styles for us. A true untapped resource for Idaho Falls, he could be a stylist for the stars! There wasnt anything he couldnt fix he was incredible. I believe his name was Bernie? Or Burney? Im uncertain of the spelling but he was a very stylish handsome young man and he was phenomenal! He was one of the instructors there, I was astounded he wasnt working at a professional salon. Truly a talented hair stylist, totally recommend him!

I recently had two services done by Vanessa Graham. It is obvious Austin Kade is educating their students well. Not only were my services wonderful but her knowledge was extensive. I highly recommend Vanessa for your esthetician needs.

I absolutely love going to Austin Kade Academy to get my hair, nails and hot stone massage. Each experience I have had with each student that has worked with me has been good. I had Kiaya do my hair last year and I have been back to see her every month for my hair needs. I was very hesitant to try a school but I walk out feeling like I went to a thousand dollar Hollywood salon every time. She covers my greys, we have also done highlights, lightening, lowlights, ombre, hair cut, and style. I love getting something different every time and she is amazing at helping me decide whats next to try. I highly recommend going and asking for Kiaya!

I graduated the esthetics program 5 months ago and wanted to give Latavia a recognition. She was my favorite instructor and I learned so much from her. She is so knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. She truly cares for her students and wants everyone to suceed and thats what makes her stand out from the rest. She has been doing esthetics for a long time and really knows what she is talking about. Latavia is such a great asset to Austin Kade.

Lindsay Didier trimmed my hair and waxed my brows, and she did such an amazing job! Im really nervous when it comes to haircuts because Im afraid too much will be cut off, but Lindsay only cut the minimum off so Im able to have long health hair!

What a day at Austin Kade Academy! I brought my 10 year old daughter and a friend of hers with to have a spa day. The treatments and services we received from the students there were amazing to say the least. My daughter and her friend kept raving about how fun the cosmo ladies were. Alyssa Forsberg and Jhoseline Sanchez (Cosmotology students) kept the girls busy while I received my services on the esthetics floor. Alyssa and Jhoseline gave the girls manicures and pedicures with super fun holiday painted nails and washed and styled their hair so beautifully. I received a spray tan, brow wax and a full set of eyelash extensions from Vanessa Graham. Throughout all the services Vanessa was very knowledgeable and did an amazing job! I love my lashes!!! I would refer all my friends and family to Vanessa for all their skin care needs at Austin Kade. Thank you ladies for making our girls day so fabulous and fun!!
