This is such a great school. Although we have had a couple of teachers we did not enjoy and with whom weve had some problems, even those unhappy incidents havent diminished our love of this school. The Principal is excellent and there is such a wonderful, caring, family atmosphere here that we really enjoy it. Weve had opportunities here we probably wouldnt have had at a larger school. Also, the relatively smaller size of the school means the kids are not treated like numbers (as can be the case at larger schools) but are known by name and cared about as individuals. Bullying has been minimal compared to other places weve attended and is immediately nipped in the bud when reported. My one and only regret about Fairview Elementary is that it only goes up through the 6th grade, as wed love to stay and not have to go elsewhere for middle school.
