Shout out to Joe at Golden Compass Acupuncture! Not only are his services clean, comfortable and timely; He is also incredibly knowledgeable in Eastern Theory but his application of technique is superb. For as long as I can remember I have had a sever phobia of needles and have actively avoided anything having to do with them. However, during my training as a massage therapist I learned how beneficial acupuncture can be and, while also working towards over coming my fears, I decided to give it a try. I have now had my second session with Mr. Joe and while the needles still make me very nervous, his is very good about accommodating to me needs and distracting my anxiety with his jovial conversation and relaxed personality. I wont say that I have over come my fears yet but he makes it a lot easier to deal with and his treatment plan for my array of anxiety based and physical issues has already made measurable differences in my daily life. Absolutely wonderful. Ive suffered with daily, chronic pain for at least 14 years and have tried physical therapy, massage, chiropractic, topical balms, NSAIDs, etc with minimal or no relief. After two sessions with Joe, the improvements and dramatic reduction of my pain and stress levels have been incredible. Very friendly, empathetic and really knows his stuff. First time trying acupuncture and I was amazed. I went in barely able to lift my left arm above my shoulder without great pain due to the onset of arthritis and left with painless full range of motion. I’m sold the first time my shoulders and back have felt good in years and NO PAIN KILLERS. My wife has never seen me be able to lift my arms above my head pain free she was stunned.Joe I can’t thank you enough.
