Was a bucket list experience! We traveled from Michigan to Idaho Falls and saw the gun place on way to hotel. From beginning to end positive adventure. Informed every step of the way and they listened to what we were hoping to experience. Guys at counter gave us choices explaining what each gun might feel like when firing…we didn’t want to lose any teeth, so steered us in the right choice direction! Conner was patient and fun realizing we were all near 70 in age and a first time firing a gun. Even the targets are fun! Loved it.

Staff is very knowledgeable, inventory is great! Everyone here obviously loves what they are doing and are never pushy! Got me into a gun I had been eying for a long time and made the process easy and pain free! Will for sure be doing business with them again!

So the experience I had with gun&gear wasn’t the best at first I bought a couple pistols. one I went all out on attachments, but I had nothing but problems with the laser/flashlight combo because someone had sold me the wrong one that wasn’t for my gun. It would fall off when I’d shoot it, and it just started to flash and wouldn’t stay on. But this is how cool these guys are they not only did take it back, but they replaced it with something better, just had to pay the difference and was totally okay with that lol! Now I love my setup and it doesn’t give me a problem. I wouldn’t buy from anywhere else these guys are amazing. Service was also really good even after my experience! Thank you guys so much!

We were helped by a nice young man named Kyle who was very knowledgeable and helpful. We rented some guns to test on the range to see how we liked them and then talked to him about safes and holsters. He always made sure we saw that the gun was empty before it was handed to us, so hes been well trained. We really liked our time there. Good staff and good atmosphere.

Our house was broken into the other day. Luckily me and my wife weren’t home but it really got us thinking... we went in not knowing what we could be getting ourselves into. But after the amazing greeting we got by the staff at the door I knew this was an amazing place! After looking around for a few minutes we couldn’t really decide on what we should do. Great customer service, even when they are slammed busy never have to wait long for service at the counter. Prices are fair/pretty standard but you get a free range pass with gun purchase so that is neat too. They do their best to make the background wait as pleasurable, convenient, and quick as they possibly can as well. All around great place and we recommend them to everyone for firearm needs of all kinds.

Great Gun shop. Service was great as someone was asking if we needed help every 5 minuets. Great selection and great prices. Even in the post-pandemic market, their prices are only slightly elevated compared to some others that Ive seen. Definitely worth a look and, with their huge selection, they just might have what you need.

The staff really make this place. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. They take the time to help you find what youre looking for and make sure that you leave happy. The store exterior, sales floor and restrooms are always kept clean. The indoor range is perfect for testing out your new purchase or practicing regularly. They are also great with kids. They take the time to talk to my 4 year old, and make her feel welcome too. I cannot say enough about Guns N Gear. They are definitely my one stop shop.

The facility is very impressive. There have got to be 200 rifles, pistols, and shotguns on hand that are free access, and 100 more that the staff are ready to share and discuss. The ammo and accessories are very competitively priced, and the purchase process is very quick and simple. I was going to buy a hi-point 45 for about $160 and started the process, but at the last minute I decided to buy a 9 mm rifle instead, and the associate helping me was very kind and flexible. I had a 10/10 experience at guns n gear and I intend to return very soon. Don’t bother going to Sportsman’s, Cabelas, C-A-L Ranch or Walmart. Just come here.

The facility is really nice. Staff was very friendly. Prices seemed decent. I had a rifle in my truck but didnt have a case to bring it into the building in. I asked to borrow one. The owner said that it would be a $5 rental fee for the case. I understand nothing is free but I had paid range fees and bought a target. I would say that is the definition of nickel and diming. I used to work at a range and would lend people cases to safety transfer their weapons into and out of the building all the time. If anything I was happy that they didnt come walking in with it not cased. I probably would have bought ammo to replace what I put through the rifle, but since I wasnt able to shoot it, I didnt have to replace it which means he lost money on that end too. So I just shot my handguns.EDIT: Thanks for the response. I wasnt going to pay the $5 on principal, so I was disappointed that I drove from Pocatello and couldnt shoot the specific firearm that I came to shoot. Maybe a more common sense approach. Tell people to let their guns cool before putting it back in the case. Tell the customer that if they ruin a loaner case, they are buying it. Anyway, Ill be back to shoot there again. If I didnt live so far away, I would probably purchase a membership. It is really one of the nicest indoor ranges I have been to.

Love this place! Staff are always professional. Always polite. Range is very good. 2 bays, with many stalls in each bay. Range goes 25 yards max and can handle a 50 BMG! Just a heads up, if someone is setting off a 50 ... the percussion blast indoors is bonkers! Staff are attentive to making sure everyone is being safe. Great selection of firearms. Have been a member for several years and will continue for the foreseeable future!

This place is the place to go for all your gun and ammunition needs I been going here for a while to buy ammunition and shoot in the range but I never bought a gun from them until Saturday. The gun was cheap and was for my needs. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a new gun or just wants to walk around and look at everything.

I purchased a Taurus G2C from GNGS. The firearm shipping was incredibly fast and arrived at the licensed dealer within 2 days. 5/5 stars. The ammunition I purchased also delivered within a week. 5/5 stars there. The firearm itself though did not appear to come in a new condition as advertised. The piece had a couple blemishes on the slide, and upon disassembly, I noticed the internals were rather dirty. I want to say that it definitely cycled rounds before I got to open the box. All said; after a good cleaning and oiling, the firearm operated without a problem. 4/5 there.Will definitely be a returning customer.

The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is a minor things. The noise factor in the store because of the open ceiling plan makes it hard to hear if you have a hearing problem. Others than that. This store has I think one of the best selections of guns and exercises.

Kwaid and really all the staff are great! The range is great and its awesome that they have axe throwing is great too. Its easier here to get the axe to stick because they wet the target.

My experience was great. Im kind of upset that the Manager wont allow me in the store with a bottle of Dr.Pepper but oh well. Always great care. Always fantastic service. They go out of their way to help and usually always above and beyond. Except for D.M. I dont know about him. I think its the beard.

I’ve purchased several firearms from other gun shops in the area and several from them. They have the best customer service with very friendly and helpful employees. They aren’t annoyed by questions they must get asked 100 times a day. They aren’t pushy when I’m just coming in to look around. They have what I think is the best selection of guns in east Idaho that I have seen.
