Wilcox Karate has been a great place for our son just starting out learning Karate. They combine learning skills with also a fun environment that the kids all love. They also have parents nights out for members and all kinds of special events that set them apart from other small businesses out there. Highly recommend!

This is a great facility and group to be a part of. My child is supported and helped along the way to feel confident in her choice to stick with this sport and is growing to really enjoy it. They have a lot of activities aside from the normal practices that take place for families to partake in and go above and beyond for the belt ceremonies.

I cant say enough good things about Wilcox Karate. Everyone there is absolutely amazing, my son is always excited for class and the growth Ive seen in him just in the few months he has been there is incredible. I love the kickboxing class for myself, it has been a great way to get a really good work out without breaking the bank (or my back lol). Lots of options for class times, so if life happens and you cant make one, there is always another option, great communication and lots of easy payment options as well. HIGHLY recommend for the whole family!

My son really enjoyed classes at Wilcox Academy! Every day he would ask if he had karate because he wanted to achieve his next belt. The atmosphere with the other little kids was encouraging for him and he definitely didnt feel left out or alone; which he often did at school or at the bus stop. Our main reasoning in joining karate was to see him flourish with confidence and I believe he did. He was able to be himself in karate. Mr. Wilcox and Sarah were his favorite. He loved to joke around with Mr. Wilcox!His dad ultimately ended up joining when he saw the progress our son was making in confidence, that he had hoped to also achieve. And wanted to work on his flexibility in his back. Adding him to our billing was definitely not too expensive as well. So, that was a bonus. Wed also like to add that he soon had a confidant in Mr. Wilcox he only appreciated more.So yes! We definitely recommend Wilcox Academy for little ones and adults.

I have been there several times and will be back many more times my grandsons are in the classes the instructors and the Sensei are wonderful teachers the skills they are teaching shows not only do they know a lot about karate and her qualified to teach it also shows they know a lot about kids and how they can get them to learn even at a young age. They are very good patient kind and able to direct these students into their learning even the student is having a rough day. The sensei tries to get to know each student and their families, as far as a receptionist are very polite and friendly to everyone that comes in that door I recommend this place to anyone that wants to have their kids in karate.

Great place for the whole family. Provides discipline and focus, plus self defense for the kids (and adults). Great fitness, motivation and positive attitude for adults (and kids). They also have fitness kickboxing which is perfect for those looking for something other than a martial arts program. Mr. and Mrs. Wilcox, and Sensi Gage truly put themselves before the students. Environment is fun friendly and clean!

Our son has been a student at WKA for 3+ years and is still going strong! He has grown and learned so much as a student at WKA. Kyoshi Billy Wilcox and Mrs. Paula Wilcox are wonderful - they truly care about the wellbeing of all of their students while instilling valuable, essential, lifelong values in them. I love their adult classes! I have never done karate before but Mr. and Mrs. Wilcox are very kind, encouraging, and knowledgable! The atmosphere in this school is very inviting and not intimidating. Our son is eight years old when we first joined he had little confidence and was very shy. we have been going for a couple of months and he is becoming much more confident and less shy. He is also learning so many useful things aside from how to defend yourself if necessary.

Super lame experience. Very awkward approach with the children. My daughters wanted to leave within 5 minutes of meeting the staff, and the venue is in a odd location.Avoid this business if possible.
