Ive been going here all three years. Amazing teachers! Especially, Mr. Ryan, Miss. Parker, and Mrs. Myers. The kids make the school trash. The bring drugs, alcohol, fights everyday. THE BULLING IS THE WORST HERE! Its insane!! Other than the type of kids here its a great school. Amazing teaching techniques and learning experience. The staff will get you in trouble for something non-relevant, rather than dealing with the real bad issues going on. Sometimes this school suck ass other times its great lol.

It was one of the most fun 3 years of my life, the teachers are really nice and very helpful. I think, for the most part, students get a long well and is a very safe environment for kids. I wont ever forget these 3 years!! Thank you Porter Ridge Middle School Pirates for making these past 3 years amazing!!!

This school had been a great place for my son. Great teachers and staff. I am glad that my daughter will be attending here in the future.

Honestly I used to go in 2014 and I don’t like it. Teachers are lazy not gonna say names or mine but they are sensitive also and the computers don’t work and they give a bad grade when at the media center the have a bunch and no one can’t use them. They need to upgrade everything maybe shut done the school the suspension in school is terrible they make you feel like your in prison that I want to escape. This is the the the leader of the school and please just shut it down I went to Monroe instead because they don’t care what you do and if you don’t do work they don’t care they still will give you a hundred which is way better than working hard for questions you get right but they count it wrong. Just STOP

I think that this school is fine if you want to learn and be involved in things but on the other hand it might look good on the outside but on the inside the kids are very rude and treat the teachers they are there the same age and treat there peers like they don’t exist or like they mean nothing to them in my opinion you go to witch ever school you want to but if you go to porter ridge it’s like a roller coaster be ready for ups downs and a whole bunch of Luptie loops

Porter Ridge has HORRIBLE bullying issues. The problem with the school isnt really the teachers, yes there are some that are bad, but every school has at least a few bad teachers. The problem is mostly with the students. People bring in weed, alcohol, skip class, and then they brag about it. The popular clique will make your life a living hell and they wont get punished AT ALL, trust me, I know from personal experience. I came to PRMS midway through 7th grade, and if the people dont know you, its a really hostile place. People shun you and its hard to make friends, I got really lucky and met someone nice, but if youre not lucky, then the chances are very high you will be bullied and almost completely friendless, if not 100% friendless. The administration is another horrible thing about this hellhole. I was sexually harassed by a boy on my bus, and my parents had to come in and help me fight to get anything done. The aforementioned bullying is also extremely hard to deal with, because the administration does NOTHING about it. They wont even tell you what theyre doing about the situation and to punish the person whos hurting you because they deem it confidential. Theyll tell you theyre, investigating it and then theyll just blow you off. On the whole, Porter Ridge is a really awful, horrid, disgusting school and I sincerely hope that you will take my advice and send your children somewhere else.

Kids bring drugs and stuff.. but if you say a teacher sucks your out of the room they dont seem to care about threats dont handle it.

I go to Marvin ridge but I think this school is better because the kids are way nicer and dont spoke, drink, or Vape. Kids at Marvin Ridge are beyond the stage of crazy Im serious and Im warning you. If yall think the kids here are crazy come to MRMS/Hell.

Im about to enter 6th grade and my friends told me about the teachers and the students and they said they were really nice and that Im going to have an amazing 3 years bc my cousin Trinity went there for 3 years and she is going to High School

The school is not that good, kids make to many threats, which causes people to leave. WOULDNT SUGGEST IT!!! Some kids are cool.

Im in eighth grade and I absolutely hate the school some of the teachers watch PORN! But some of the teachers are actually cool.

I dont go to this school, but a student told me that the teachers were horrible and that the staff is aware of this but does nothing to help the students.

The school is bad. The kids, bullying, and drugs. My bus is especially cramped, because it is too small and the bus drivers yell at us and put us 3 to a seat. Please fix that and I might change my review.

I went here a few years ago, my experience was mediocre. Clubs were poorly managed and the school appeared to be filled with drug users. Regardless, the teachers are alright and the education was on-par with other schools, so I cant fault it too much.
