Along time ago I was interested in taking a CDL class however life is busy and I didn’t have the opportunity. Many years later with my wife’s blessing my children grown and living on their own I decided now is the perfect time to pursue my CDL license.Since my first day entering the office of JR driving school I was treated with respect and like a member of the family. The manager, Christian, at a very young age was professional, displayed great patience which made me feel very comfortable with my training. His team of trainers were also professional and wonderful to work with and some were bilingual (Spanish)as well. I believe the students in my class feel the same way as I do.I now have my CDL license and plan to utilize it to work with a local company and one day may start my own business.I highly recommend JR driving school and appreciate the knowledge and training they gave me. Working with the team at JR driving school has provided me the opportunity to start a new chapter in my career. Worth every pennyIn the beginning for me the process of getting my CDL was very stressful. It was intimidating and overwhelming, especially when life throws you a curve ball. This is when a support system is important. From the very start JR Driving became just that. They didnt judge me or make me feel bad about what I didnt know. In fact they reminded me that Im not supposed to know and thats OK. That I was in the right place to make mistakes and ask questions. This team is probably the most knowledgeable, understand and supportive group of people youll meet. Theres no better place to learn and aquire your CDLs than JR Driving School. I did a lot of researching b4 selecting a school and i must say i made the correct choice. From the day i walked into the to office to get info, the first day of instruction and passing my driving test i must say the whole experience was first class! They have different class times to accommodate folks who work at night or during the day which is very rare to find with CDL schools. Overall great experience while attending JR CDL DRIVING SCHOOL!!!! Great instructors who are professional, knowledgeable, friendly, funny and patient. Mrs. Arida in the office is great as well and very friendly and tries her best to help with finding a job after graduating. The instructors do exactly what is needed to ensure you are prepared to graduate and pass your final test to get your CDL. The best part I liked is the fact that they are so flexible and understanding. Go at your own pace!!! No set schedule or time frame to finish. I started Nov. 2020 and just graduated June 1, 2021. I had to take time off several times because I had a lot going on in life and things just kept coming up. It was no problem, they understood, life happens, and allowed me to do that and just come back when everything was settled and I was ready, with no penalties. I really enjoyed the experience from start to finish. Mrs. Romero, Christian, Liz, Frank, Moe, Vinny, Joe and Evan are awesome. They really care about the students and have a true passion for teaching us the right and safe way to maneuver commercial vehicles. I was not only shown how to do it but was given practical cases while driving of things to expect and to look out for when driving. I am really thankful and grateful for all that I have learned. I am also glad that I didnt go anywhere else because I have made lifelong connections with other people who are looking to be excellent drivers in this industry and I will always hold JR Driving School in the highest regard.

They are the best cdl school in NC.when I decided to get my cdl i did my research i called other schools but I didnt like how they answered me they were kinda rush and kinda rude. But when I called jr trucking school irada was super nice to me. She took her time with me and answered all my questions. They have the best instructors ever, Mo is my favorite. I was kinda nervous first and when I started to drive with trailer I felt different but Mo helped me out to learn all tricks he made me calm down and answers all my questions he never been on rush to answer my questions he was taking his time be sure you get the right answer. I wasnt hesitate to ask any questions to him.other instructors are super nice too ( chank, vince, christian, liz) they all have patient and teaching you everything Wht you need. I came to JR CDL Truck driving school to obtain my class A. I had been driving with a class b license for 23 years and learned so much more from the excellent instructors at this school. I highly recommend them and my son will be obtaining his cdl from them as well.

Let me start out by saying,I live in Charlotte nc..And im a recent graduate of JR Truck Driving School...But before attending I did my research on every truck driving school in & around the surrounding areas...I visited everyone of them & also read the reviews... I always wondered if the reviews were real?? Well this one is!!!!! I promise you this is the best Trucking School around hands down...Not only was I right about choosing this school,but I actually got more than what I ever bargain for...They didnt just teach me enough to past at DMV...They tort me driving skills that will last me for the rest of my life!!! Besides the fact that all of the trainers were very skilled & knowledgeable..There patients with each student was unbelievable...I know cause I attended school there full time witch aloud me to see it all... People there treat you like family, I failed the driving test at the dmv and without thinking about it, they went to work on helping me. I think they were more upset about it than I was. Spanish or English they worked with everyone. Cant recommend more

Personally I’ve been wanting to learn to drive trucks for a while now and never found the time to do so. This COVID-19 of course made challenges for us all mentally and financially, I said that to say that when I found this truck driving school they did nothing but go out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable and had all the access to their trucks I could need to get through this program and get my CDLs as thorough as they possibly could. Very reasonably priced not trying to take advantage of you in no form or fashion. I sincerely thank you guys for all you done for me and my family and you will always have a friend in me. 🙏🏿James T

If you really want to learn how to drive trucks, I highly recommend this school. The teachers are dedicated, and professional, and there are teachers who speak English and Spanish. When I started I had never driven a truck, and I did not know how to use the manual transmission. I got the CDL license in a manual truck and I have been working as a driver for eight months.

I recommend it A good deal if you have concerns, you speak them and they help you, the school is totally bilingual, which helps a lot for Latinos.Good chemistry with the teachers. Reason. Evans, one of the teachers there, also grateful to him without detracting from the other teachers who are very good ... great and may they continue to be successful.

Excellent study methodology, in the time I was taking classes they gave me the assistance I needed, the attitude of the instructors was always very good, and the accompaniment by the owner of the school was constant.The school has flexible hours, there are accompaniments in Spanish and the price of the program is quite accessible, it was really worth the investment to obtain my business license
