Naptown Stomp is the place in Indianapolis for authentic swing dancing. It is an incredible community that has made Indiana feel home for me. Learning to dance with Naptown has opened up countless opportunities for me to grow as a dancer, meet friends, travel and even compete. They are welcoming and love new dancers of all skill levels! Naptown Stomp is a great place to go dancing, to meet and make friends who love all things vintage. When I moved to Indianapolis some years ago I found in Naptown a very welcoming and inclusive community. I have traveled the Midwest with them to different dancing events at different cities and states, which resulted in many adventures! I recommend them to everybody.

Been going here for years and it just keeps getting better and better! The leadership is great, the people care about each other, and the dancing is such a fun part of my week!! I highly suggest everyone tries it out! So much fun!

Naptown Stomp is the most welcoming community that Ive ever gotten the pleasure of experiencing. They have multiple levels of dance for all ages and have social dances for little to no cost. The group is exceptional with teaching and not judging, and is always attempting to get people to feel comfortable with the swing dance community as a whole. Their new discounts are amazing and I think everyone should try it out. 10/10.

I have frequented a few dance communities in Indy and this one is by far the most friendly, not to mention that they offer a great variety of good instructors and classes, that their dance lessons are affordable, and that they offer plenty of opportunities for practices, social dances, traveling. Besides offering a great set up for learning the dance technique, the atmosphere is great with no drama as you might find in some other dance communities. All are and feel welcome - old and young! I have only good things to say about Naptown Stomp and I highly recommend them.

Swing dancing! I love to swing dance here! No other place in indianapolis teaches true vernacular swing dancing in Indianapolis. If you want to swing dance then come here. Nothing but love for this swing dance organization!

Naptown has become my second home over the last three years. The people are some of the kindest Ive ever met, and swing dancing/Lindy Hop is not just a great way to stay active and burn calories, but also an artistic release and a huge amount of fun. Naptowns lessons are easy to follow with amazing instructors and will have even the most doubly left footed people swinging in no time!

I have always had amazing experiences with Naptown and no matter whether you have years of dance experience or never danced a day in your life, Naptown is the place for you. Everyone is super nice and you are guaranteed to have a blast!

This organization is great! I started taking lessons with them and going to their social dances in August. They rotate instructors each month which is great for people with different learning styles. The people who dance with this organization are really great and welcoming and if you stick with it, you will find you have a new group of friends and have learned a really great dance. I love traveling to different cities to dance with them too. They also host the beginner lesson at Fountain Square, so if you are shy, check them out there first. The beginner lesson at Fountain Square starts at 7:30 pm for a total of $12 (just $2 more than the admission to the dance). Check Fountain Square Theaters website for dates. Naptowns regular social dance is every Thursday at 8 pm at the Grove House. Come dance!

The people who run and participate in Naptown Stomp have been some of the kindest people I have ever met. Its been a lovely experience to be a part of their organization and learn the foundations of swing dancing with them.
