The school is pretty good value for the money! I wish it was a little more time behind the wheel but if ya determined ya can do it!

A few bad apples doesnt ruin this bunch. My experience was amazing, despite an issue or two with a single instructor. For the most part, everyone was helpful and amazing with helping me start my new career.

Very happy to see that the school I learned how to drive big trucks at, is doing well.5 years since I attended and Im an O/O running under Landstar Ranger today.C1 is the truth! Learn, Arrive on Time, Keep it between the lines and maybe you too will be out here with us,.....making all the money.Until then, Ill have my chin in the wind and my knees in the breeze, hammering down.

Very much a quick learning kind of school! My only recommendation for people coming in to this school is to come with your permit before taking the classes! They do give you a week to get your permit, but it helps in the long run/allows you more time to learn the range/driving/pretrip parts of the school. Other then that, the staff was both professional, considerate, and very confident!

I personally had a great overall experience at C1 Truck Driver Training. Without a few of the staff members, my struggle would of lasted longer than it did. Huge thanks to Jason, Keith, Rob, Derek, Joe, Ed and Fred!

I went here in 1999 to obtain my license via Decker transport now PAM. It is a fast pace of learning so you must be self motivated. If you think your going to hang out youll fail. Its the true Start of a new career.They teach you what you need to know to get a license but the companies teach the rest. If you fulfill your obligations of the contract it doesnt cost anything and in 2 years youll get a certificate of graduation. Ive read alot of bad reviews and its just not that way. Some people dont have the skillset to pass the test or dont apply themselves correctly. 22 years on the road and 2.7 million miles accident free. Id call that a success all starting here at C1 Use the SMITH SYSTEM in every part of your life and you too will write a success story

Great school finally got my CDL and all the teachers were fantastic. Robert trey and Matt were huge helps and each a fountain of knowledge for respective fields. Thankful for the opportunity to go and graduate from this school.

Good program. Enjoyed the experience. Office and instructors really came in clutch; were laid back but professional. Ain’t get a chance to give Smitty his props on the survey. But get really came through

This was a great program, I entered the training with no experience with trucks or manual transmission. The instructor were patient and very helpful with guiding me to success and furthermore graduating from the program. Overall great experience!!

I attended C-1 in March of 2012. I am a truck drivers wife so I thought I knew everything. I passed the written tests on the first try and missed 1 on the Pre-trip test. But to be honest I was horrible behind the wheel. I lost my temper when I missed a gear and slaughtered the range, I could not back. Four weeks past and I failed to completed the range, not even halfway, I had ZERO trailer control. The amazing instructors never discouraged me. They always said YOU CAN DO THIS! The 5th and final week came and if I couldnt complete the range I would have till Friday, then I would be sent home, a failure. But on Monday morning everything clicked’ I performed a flawless Range, my instructor Tim was stunned. By Thursday I had passed all the driving tests and was a proud owner of a Class A CDL. The instructors never gave up on me and now in 2021 I am still driving - accident free. I will be forever grateful C-1 and the dedicated Instructors.

It was a little rough, but overall fantastic place to learn truck driving. Brad is a great starting instructor and was always helpful beyond his role.

Excellent school for getting started in your CDL based career.

Went through school.I did good in class, in both written, and road class.Failed road test 5 times.The first 2 tests were included in the cost of the schooling, I had to pay for the other three tests out of pocket which I did not have the money for. Being that I attended the school is 16 hours daily, 7 days a week for 2 weeks.Come to find out, they were wanting me to buy my CDL. I did not get my CDL from them, and yes I was traumatized. That made it difficult to attend another school, but C-1 is just a money pit that does not need to exist.I went to another truck driving school, and the instructors told me I was doing fine.I passed all the test’s the first time bringing back the confidence I once had before I attended C-1.At the time Walter was one of the lead instructors, and seemed too much in a hurry to get me out of c-1 for some reason.No I would not recommend them to anybody, I really think the school needs to be shut down.Yes I paid $125.00 or $150.00 for 3 more road tests.I know what I had to pay for, I just don’t go throwing money around, and I know I had to pay for those tests. So maybe the test administrator was pocketing my money, which is illegal, and dead wrong.

Everybody very professional and nice. They made sure every single student will pass and answered all questions. I really recommend this for people who wants there CDL!

Got my Cdls from here. You have to apply yourself. Theyre not going to give you anything. Ed(range instructor) treated me like a son and it really helped me. Passed my test on the first try. You have to read the material they give you. I would recommend this school. Equipment is a little outdated, but i enjoyed my time there. Learned a lot from Ed, Victor and Dion.
