Extremely professional staff that always seem to be willing to answer questions for those if us interested in enrolling in their flight academy.

I got my private in just over 50 hours, instrument rating in 30 hours, and my commercial at 141 minimum time. The training tools used at LIFT academy simply can’t be matched. As far as cost, it is worth much more than they charge. A bargain for sure. Like most training programs, including at airline level, much of the ground knowledge is learned through self guided study. There is also ground training with a CFI built into the curriculum to verify and expand on the knowledge needed to pass your check-rides. I’m very proud of the high pass rate LIFT students have achieved with the FAA.

Awesome flight school! I’ve gone through the program starting with zero hours and I can honestly say they have the best equipment of any flight school in the country with the great instructors to match. Everybody at LIFT including the administration cares about the well being of the students, and I can’t picture a flight school that has more vested interest in their students with the flow to Republic. LIFT Academy provides all the resources you need to be successful in your flight training and prepare you for the airlines. It is a fast-paced program that requires quite a time commitment to get through. If you put in the time and effort everybody will be there supporting you through the program to make sure you graduate as a safe successful pilot.

I started flying with LIFT Academy August of 2019 and was withdrawn late February of 2020. At first everything was okay, but then I started realizing all the flaws this school has. After 1 month, the school changed my instructors and I was now assigned to a guy who was not even an instructor yet. While he was in the process of becoming certified (it took a month), I was in limbo with 4 different instructors who all had different ideas of right vs. wrong, different minimums, and mainly all were there simply to gain hours rather than actually teach. With the weather not being great during the winter months, I wasnt able to fly regularly. With all the different instructors, I failed tests and needed retraining sessions. I was in a cycle of failure and retrain only adding hours to my log book and getting nowhere. I failed tests and was grounded (not able to fly until meeting with administrator). November I flew 3 times and September I flew 5 times. At one point I didnt fly for over a month. This was not just me though, fellow students were going through the same thing I later realized. The school was bringing in classes of 30-40 students a month with only 29 instructors and Im guessing maybe 30 planes with room for no more. The instructors are there only to be pushed through the course as fast as possible and onto Republic. None of which seemed to want to actually teach anything, but rather just sit there and gain flight hours while I fly the plane (cross countries are their favorite). I have 76 hours and no private pilots license. I soloed in a traffic pattern once, but no cross country solo. Keep in mind, since I wasnt able to fly regularly, this called for retraining sessions (more flight hours = more $ you spend). I was set up for failure and so are other students. Im now roughly $10k in debt and still... once again... have no private pilot license. I dont recommend going here.

This place is absolutely horrible. If your looking to have instructors who cannot instruct and you enjoy negative reinforcement this just might be the school for you. They have an excellent PR team, who will sell you the world and every dream facet of every job in the world. The real goal, is to fail you after you paid your life savings to go here. Once you fail they will then ask for more money, this money will fund their well liked students pursuit of the pilot dream. There are so many personality conflicts from the top down, that it is impossible to even have one day of reprieve. This place will make feel like trash. After giving my all, I was recently let go. I gave 110% every day, and I the school could care less and provided me with 50% on their best day. They could care less because they have so many applicants that you just dont matter. Their instructors are both indifferent and disinterested in your success.

I was very disappointed with this school. The instructors for the most part are just there to accrue flight hours. There is little effort on their part to see students make it through the program. The staff, with few exceptions, lacks real teachers/instructors. Instructors change often as they are just there to get flight hour and care not if students succeed. Management is ok with this too. There attitude seems to be we will just fill the spot with another candidate.Pass this place by and go to Embry -Riddle
