My daughter love doing karate at this school. It has a family friendly atmosphere and many parents learn along side their children.

Amazing family oriented. My grandma, mom, sisters and myself went. And now my daughter gets to go.

This place is the best decision for my son. he started at 3 hes 4. A life of life skills, teaches respect for everyone and discipline. I had his birthday party here and it was very well set up and a very good price for food and fun (Covid style). Both Senseis are great people ! And the price are not very reasonable!

Totally loved it! Joining karate class here has been the best decision Ive made for my son. They taught my children respect, focus and discipline.

It is definitely a friendly environment for all ages. Ever since my first visit I have had every reason to be excited for my next visit and what the day has in store for me. I love this place! The instructors are so nice and are always doing their best to teach you everything they can. Ive made lots of friends with other students and instructors. They have helped me reach a level where Im so close to black belt I can almost taste it.

Family Karate Academy, has been a great experience for our boys, far beyond our expectations. .The head instructor Master Ken Pipe is exceptionally skillful with his teaching methods..He is very good at demonstrating the various Karate moves,techniques while incorporating useful life lessons in the classes. He teaches them RESPECT,DISCIPLINE, CONFIDENCE,AND FOCUS.Master Ken Pipe and other instructors are very helpful and willing to answer any questions one might have.I would highly recommend Family Karate Academy for your future karate skills.

My daughter has been going here for almost a year now she’s now 4 years old and she loves it! I like that they have different times everyday it helps to accommodate different schedules. I like how well Israel Galan is with the young kids he’s really good at both teaching them but still doing it to where the kids are having fun.

Family Karate Academy is an excellent place to lean not only karate but self discipline, respect, and an excellent work ethic. Sensei Piper and Sensei Golan reinforce the morals and strong family values were teaching our kids at home. Also, if youve decided to take your kids here youll have to wait and watch while they work...might as well join them on the mat. Its been great for their dad as well who decided to join their class.

I highly recommend Family Karate to those searching. My son has been in this karate class for quite a few mos. He enjoys it as well as myself. I love the location, its family oriented and I love the positive friendly energy. The schedules are flexible for ppl who work and for the kids after they are out of school.

My son has been going for for a while now.. almost two years..and he loves it... I like the instructors and the inviommement... they have a good schedule and there is no pressure... they offer really good and different ways to get u or your child to your goal... I joined myself a few months ago.. and i love it.. i definitely recommend this school for anyone....

My daughter absolutely loves this school and the instructors. They are very good at teaching and offer classes at different times to fit everyones schedule and the ability the kids have to attend classes above and below their belt really helps them hone in their skills and stay on top of the material. I would recommend this karate school to anyone looking to join.

This is a great school. Im very happy to be enrolled in it. The instructors are very courteous and caring, they make sure every student understands how to do what is taught and also have confidence they will be able to learn what is taught. The family atmosphere is great! I havent seen any children have a bad time in class while they are learning manners and respect for themselves and others at the same time they are learning valuable self defense skills. The staff genuinely cares and works with every student to ensure they get the most out of their martial arts experience. The flexibility of choosing when and how much you go to class is also a very nice part of the package.

Absolutely a great Dojo! I Would recommend to everyone. Big family, small families, even anyone by them selves! Just come in and sensi piper will work with you on a great deal to get the whole family kicking!

5 stars!!!I can’t express how much me and my family have gotten out of the time spent and training we have received. Me, my two youngest daughters and my wife all attend Family Karate USA and we have grown closer as a family since we can all interact with each and train together, at our own pace, to become black belts. What other extra curricular activities allow that type of environment? Sensei Piper and Sensei Galan are very knowledgeable in what they train and are absolutely superb at conveying the information to all the different age levels. I feel as well the style being trained is a very well structured, practical application of real life use if ever needed. Plus the environment they provide has offered many friendships to form in our Karate community and my class mates are absolutely family to me.

Wonderful instructors, great for kids and adults. Schedule designed so that making it to at least one class a week, even with other things going on is still easy. Highly recommended.

Kyoshi Ken Piper and his instructors are the best. His school and instruction is rich with experience for any adult student, yet patient, understanding and graceful for any of our youngest children. When I thought I was too old to learn Karate they proved me wrong!! I learned and continue to learn that A Black Belt is a White Belt that didnt quit

Over priced and wont tell you that every time you or your kids change belts there is a charge ..After only 2 belts for 2 kids paid over $1000 dollars just in fees.. I will not recommended for anyone to be honest they are rip off stay away from them please stay away from them......

I want to make this a Really honest reviewwe were looking for a place that would let our 3 yr old join in the classes.(and our 5yr old)Not many offered that. 2 places I believe?Fanily karate was one of the choices.We went there to check it out.First impression of outside:The outside is very nondescript. But who cares. We dont need glitter and glam. Its a karate joint.First impression inside:Walk in to a small carpeted room for shoes which leads to another room with front desk, sittin area, and then another room for karate arenaFirst thought. Yuck. A good carpet scrub in this show area would do wonders for first impressions.There was someone at the front desk to direct/guide where to go.nice touch.The instructors all seemed very personable and welcoming with a smile/hand shake. Another nice touch.We Chatted about specifics/price/expectations and then tried out my two littles with instructor so the instructor could see if they had the attention span and could follow direction -which they did.(They offer a discount if u pay all at once. Another nice touch.)We Ended up signing up with them because we liked:1) that they let me bring the kids every day if I wanted for same price as once a week.2) The classes are fun for the kids. They do punches, kicks,and blocks. Along with running games, jumping games, etc to get the sillies out. (Classes vary and seem to have 3-10 kids)3) teachers exhibit a lot of Patience with the kids but also push manners such as sir/maam/thank you/eye contact/Etc. In a gentle manner4) Parents can opt to take home a paper weekly to write what chores/tasks kids do own own or with parent direction or if they refused to listen. Then patent brings in to class and teacher reads aloud to either reward (sticker) or remind to do better with promise of a reward sticker the following week (if do better)*As they explained it helps maintain congruency between discipline in class and home.5) there are seats outside of classroom where parents can sit to watch child during classWeve been there a few months and my kids beg to go almost daily which speaks volumes to us as parents.I dont know what other karate places are like,but my kids REALLY like it here and we are satisfied too.Definitely worth trying out! Im glad I looked past the aesthetics because this place really is awesome!

Excellent dojo with great teachers who really care about each pupils advancement in the Shorei Goju Ryu karate style. Family oriented, flexible, attend whenever you are able and a class is sceduled. Great for kids and adults.
