Returned to this school because of a program that would provide military credits for experience. I was told that it would take four class to complete my associates. I enrolled and after the withdrawal period my first term they changed to six classes. I understand the initial evaluation isnt official according the summary they give you, they uses that to backdoor you without notice. I just happened to check one day and found 2 more additional requirements. I gave 2 stars because of the excellent professor for the 1 class I did take. Unfortunately, I will be looking for a new school. If you do elect to go to this school keep an eye all your records.

This school makes it so easy to get to classes online. I am former military and the military advisors are amazing! I have an AAS through Kaplan University before it became Purdue University Global and had started my Bachelors Degree as it was transitioning to Purdue University Global. I graduated in August 2018 with a BAS in Paralegal Services and Support. I am considering going back to start my Masters Degree!

The application process was fairly easy and they were very helpful, but after I got accepted they went ghost and I didn’t know what to do next in terms of creating my student ID, registering for classes, etc. I decided to go with a different school option but Purdue has yet to unenroll me from their program! I emailed 3-4 different people so far saying I would be withdrawing my application, but no one has gotten back with me yet. Plan to call them next to get this issue resolved because this is ridiculous.

I fell behind in school due to my father passing & moving back home all at once. I filed an appeal, Melissa said it would be minimum of 15 days. It has now been over 30 and still nothing I called her multiple times left messages nothing back.I finally reached out by email and she got back. I shouldn’t have to continually hound someone like that. I also haven’t got an email saying anything about my balance until this morning right before her email saying I owe 1500 before I can return. Not payments.. paid off .. do they realize we are in the middle of a pandemic . Melissa’s email still didn’t give me a date on when I would know if my appeal was accepted if smithing! If I could give 0 stars I would. Now I’m just wishing I would have see. This other reviews before hand!

Purdue is a good school it really is, but they call you too much to tell you your payment is do like I can’t see my payment is due. My mom and I get calls everyday because of a payment. I have a whole ten weeks to make the payment. I am a student I have other bills to pay for these calls & emails everyday is very unnecessary

I would caution anyone considering enrollment in the open college. You have zero contact with the individuals who evaluate the panels and no way to inquire on their final assessment of your assignments. The point of contact for the program responded to emails quickly but is not an advocate of the students. It appears their main goal is to provide limited feedback so you have more out of pocket expenses in retaking the panels. As a veteran and employee of a large corporation, I believe I was taken advantage of because of my education benefits.

I have been with Purdue global for a year. After having surgery I was told by my advisor Tia that everything was good last week. That turned into me not being able to login and see my final which last time I checked was passing. I was told by my counselor that I will be starting classes tomorrow. To wake up this morning and get an email saying differently. I’m very disappointed with this school very unprofessional.

This place made promises that cannot keep. They took advantage of a situation that I told them I was in I told them I wanted to pursue complaints I reached out for a couple months to try to get help just wanting to further my education only to have my dreams and wants for a better future pushed aside as though it were nothing. I tried reaching out to them I explained to them I did not have a working telephone therefore I needed to communicate through email which they had been doing for the first month and a half but all of a sudden when I caught them in specific lies and had proof they would only speak to me on the phone. I decided just to take it further because I was getting nowhere with them I wouldnt have even complained about it but my biggest concern for even contacting him was to pursue an education in advocacy to help people in situations just like I am talking about now so perfect example Purdue thank you and I could not get into another school I could not access financial aid I couldnt do anything the the website FAFSA constantly heard me complaining and kept referring me back to the school back to the school so Im going to pursue something there too anyway to all of you out there that are pursuing something be sure that you have all the facts straight be sure that youre not getting sold these fake dreams along long enough to get a signature from you and then push you aside when the going gets tough and you need help accessing forms.

DONT GO HERE. They will tell you that you can drop classes in 7 days and not be charged for it. Then when you do drop the class within the appropriate amount of time the student advisors support (Joannie Buford) wont do their job, and lie and manipulate the truth to force you into thousands of dollars in student debts and payments that you should not have to pay due to there incompetence . When you confront them with the time, date, and screenshots of when you called to drop the class (Joannie Buford) will lie and say that it was a miss understanding. (There was no miss understanding on my end, I dropped the class, if you misunderstood that then Joannie Buford should be charged for the thousands of dollars in debt Joannie Buford caused). Supposably all conversations are being recorded . Review audio tape from September 1, 2020 at 16:23. After they did this to me I immediately drop the school completely and will be transferring my credits to SNHU to finish my bachelors degree there instead. Stay away from this school theyre nothing but liars, manipulators, con artist, and thieves. Plenty of other schools out there with way better reviews that wont steal your money or force you into thousands of dollars in student loans and debts. BEWARE

This school is a scam...RUN like Forrest Gump!!! They lead you on continually about the different programs and the many hoops you will have to jump through to attend. They will harass you with many phone calls too. The application process is virtually easy but after that it is all downhill. Don’t waste your time!!!

Purdue University has changed my life! I am currently in my first term towards gaining my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Before that I was working towards my Associates Degree for Accounting. The staff, Professor, and Peers are really invested in our Academic Futures! If you are questioning whether you should go back to school, I would suggest trying one semester. You will love the sense of achievement and comradery.

I would rate Kaplan with 5 stars, but the financial aid department had surprises that I did not know about when I enrolled. I feel my advisor Tracy Robinson is the best. She is the only reason I havent transferred. I think the financial aid department should be adjusted to people who really care about your education. I have one more year approximately, and most likely I will transfer to get my masters degree. I was recommending lots of people but now Im telling them dont get caught up in the financial aid surprises....

No grace when it comes to payments during Covid-19. They still expect full payments during this pandemic.

My experience with Kaplan has been second to none. I am almost finished with my Masters degree and I know it would not have gone as smoothly as it has with out my advisor, Tracy Robison, and her attention to detail. She kept a close eye on me and if I ever struggled with a particular class she was there to offer support. If I went into the SRC to get some work done or to get help with a particular assignment, all of the advisers and the academic coach were very helpful. Everyone is welcoming...from the receptionists, to the advisors, to the admissions crew, and the deans. President Smarrella can even be known to walk through campus and check in with students. The KU Learning Center in Indianapolis provided the best environment for me to be successful. I am thankful to all those involved for the work that they do!
