Peter Rabbit is the best! Mrs. Cohen (the principal/teacher/proprietor) is highly experienced and knowledgeable and understands children’s thoughts and feelings like no one else. She shows respect to them as individuals and helps them build confidence and a love of learning. The school feels like home and offers tons of play-based activities, yet the academics are among the strongest. Lots of one-on-one time with teachers and plenty of structure to prepare kids for grade school. Highly recommend!

My 4-year-old began here last fall. Since his first day, he now asks me most mornings, Are we going to Peter Rabbit!? He LOVES it and is always jumping out of the car with excitement when we pull up. Beyond that, I as a parent truly appreciate the experience, expertise, and true caring of director Mrs. Cohen and all the teachers. She has been doing this over 40 years and it shows. The kids get a good blend of free/creative play, structured learning/play activities, and daily individual one-on-one time with a teacher. They really get to know your child and they are experts: they know all my sons little special quirks and personality, have guessed what he may be when he grows up, etc. Twice a year (or more at parents request) they provide a thorough evaluation of your childs development and follow up with a parent-teacher conference. They are not just trying to churn out students that can answer flashcards, they truly get to know your child and make them feel loved and welcomed while providing them with truly enriching learning experiences.

This is an incredible place for your child to begin learning. They set a foundation of nurturing and fun for learning. Get your little ones there as soon as they can go you will not be disappointed.

I thought sharing my todays experience would be very helpful for future parents who should think twice before sending their kids to this place, It was my kids day one at this place, one has some challenges on getting adjusted at the new places and it would need some extra effort from the teacher for a few hours for a few days to get 100% adjusted, but the other one is the super smart kid for that age, it has only been 3 mins and few seconds I was asked to put the kid who has challenges to one class down while I was completing the paperwork, I said I am okay thinking once the kid is adjusted and they will see the drastically changes they will change their minds down the road after a week or so and they will put the kid back to the same age group, during all these conversation I could see that Rachel(maybe she is the owner or principle) was showing some anger issues signs from her facial reactions and the way she was talking to me was aggressive, as I was walking out she followed me to my car and asked to take my kid back and she also SAID you may want to take back both of your KIDS with you, so I asked I understand about the kid who has challenges why are you generalizing it for both of them, she all of sudden realized her mistake and asked me to keep one kid who is smart and take another one, but I didnt want to take any chance of keeping any kid under her watch. It was a HORRIBLE day start for me.
