We really like the structure and overall care our son receives at Goddard. Their approach to childcare is centered around their development unlike other centers/facilities in that Goddard understands the psychology of young children. Goddard is focused on growth, yet also understands the need may be different for each child.

I just don’t recommend working their you treat me differently and other things also I even asked days off for advance I couldn’t get it and even when I needs off for school. The somehow I wasn’t able to work bc of a drug screen that you guys lost! Even tho I was working all that time for 2 months and now u couldn’t find my drug screen and then I couldn’t come back until u found it and got a email back from the state and it took well over a month!

I highly recommend this Goddard to anyone looking for a fun, safe, educational, trustworthy and caring daycare center for their child. We started our son Trevor there when he was just 18 months old and it was the best decision we have made. Megan and Candi are incredible and they truly are about every child there like their own. Not to mention the teachers truly have a passion for the children and what they do. Our son was even speaking Spanish by 2 and doing addition and subtraction at 2-3. They send you multiple pictures throughout the day so you can see what the children are doing as well as always open to questions/concerns you have. Highly highly recommend to anyone.

We love the Goddard school at southport. Our son has gone there for over three years. He has loved all of this teachers. We have been so impressed with his vocabulary and skills he has gained at school. The administration is always available for questions and takes care of any issues immediately. I always recommend this school to family and friends. Worth every penny!!!

We have been going to the Goddard School for over 3 years now and I have had nothing short of amazing experiences with this school. The staff and the teachers are awesome and give their utmost to make sure the child’s learning experience is top notch.I will start off with the office staff. Ms. Megan is wonderful and I have been through two directors. She is professional yet personal in the sense that if there is a concern she will come at it with professional advice and a caring attitude. Ms. Candi is very cheerful and always gives us a warm welcome in the morning. My son loves going to school and always wants to tell Ms. Megan and Ms. Candi what he did the night before or what book he read before he went to bed. They make the Goddard School feel like a home away from home and I wouldn’t want my son to go to any other school.The teachers are incredible and probably the best around, hands down- two thumbs up! My son’s teachers every year have been equally in tune with every step of his education and always answer any questions I may have. They work individually as well as in a group and give every child the time they deserve. My son was reading and spelling words at the age of 4. He knows so much compared to some of his peers outside of school. If I had 50 kids, they would all go to Goddard!!Every parent I see walk into Goddard always has a smile on their face and kind words with all of the other teachers and staff. Being a Goddard parent for over 3 years I have gotten to know some of the other families and nothing but wonderful things are said. If you are looking for an amazing learning environment that will help not only with education, but manners and personal skills, I suggest the Goddard School of Southport!!!! 

Hey I was wondering is this a great school for an 4 year old would teach and protect my child each and every day while she with you guys..

When my daughter first started going to the Goddard School my husband and I were blown away by the caring staff; especially her then teacher Ms. Mistie. If we could have Ms. Mistie teach our daughter all the way through college we would :-) The front desk staff is also very nice and always listens to any concerns we have; theyre also very flexible, which anyone knows as a parent is a major plus. Sadly, we have not been as happy with our daughters second teacher, however our daughter is still continuing to learn so much and she isnt even 2 yet! She is getting a new classroom and we are looking forward to seeing how well she bonds with her newest teacher and classmates. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this school and location to anyone that is wanting to start their child off with a top-notch education and wanting them to be surrounded by wonderful, loving people.

Poor leadership and management. Was happy for the first 9 months my son attended but theres been high turnover and lack of leadership since Dec 2012. Wouldnt recommend this daycare/preschool for what you pay.

Staff is very friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

Why Southport Goddard?*Front-Office Staff is GREAT!!!*Teachers are fabulous and if you ever have an issue with anything going on in the classroom the Director is very easy to talk to and handles concerns professionaly and with a caring heart.*My son is learning soooooo much and seems to display good manners and listening skills from the structure and loving enviroment that Goddard provides.*I call and email ALL THE TIME - they never make me feel like I am bothering them, I love having a direct link to my son if I need that. About once a month I get an email with a picture of my son playing at school - I love seeing those emails and I always get compliments from friends and family saying how nice it is that Goddard does simple things like that for the parents.*Teacher turnover seems to be something that comes from personal progress in their career field rather than an unhappy employee. I believe that you are going to see teacher turnover at any facility like this due to the educational requirements vs competitive market for their skills; but I am happy to see that our Director seems to be able to find good fits for each age group and listens to parents if a change is needed. I love our teachers at Goddard and the training they get for consistant leadership skills and standards.*I would like to see Goddard invest in some shading for the playgrounds as there is not any for staff or children. I believe that this could be safely installed and be a long term health initiative for the children at Goddard. I truly hope this is considered before next summer.

The Goddard School has provided an atmosphere of love and learning for our son. We could not be more pleased!

Would love to send my child to Goddard, but being Military I occasionally have to drop off prior to 7am....wish they opened at 6 😕
