At first you can be nervous about that the school might be different and it is. In its own special way. CCCS is like another family. And everyone in it from the teachers to the students are like other family. The teachers are like grandparents and the students are like other sisters/brothers or cousins. So seriously I highly recommend coming.

4 of my children have attended this gem of a school and my fifth and youngest is entering 6th grade this year. The school is clear of its expectations and is always messaging through text, email and weekly bulletins which I appreciate as a parent who also works full time. It is my responsibility to keep my children focused and get them the help they need and I appreciate the honesty that is put forth by staff and teachers alike. No surprises here because they even have PowerSchool to keep up with your students grades(if you have doubts) I dont mind not having a lunch provided because most of the junk served in public schools is over processed food full of sodium and sugars. I know for a fact my children have ALL left better prepared, organized and with a deep feeling that they Can do it with hard work and dedication to themselves. The grades are not a reflection of who they are, this school teaches them to value who they are, look out for others and remember that there is more to get out of life than their circumstances. You might think I am over glorifying this school? Yes, I proudly am. My 2 oldest children have graduated from high school and both are in college, fully prepared and thriving. I would like to state that their success was partly because of the preparation CCCS gave them before entering high school. I would gladly recommend this school for any parent who wishes to have their children have a head start above the rest. This is a school of choice, you are not required to bring your child or children here but if you choose to enroll or re-enroll your child....its because You are choosing to for whatever your reason may be. If this school was that awful....remember You have a choice to take them elsewhere.

This school is amazing. In Payne Elementary, we had like 1 to 2 field trips a year, but this school, we go up to 6 to 9 field trips. Also the teachers actually explain the homework...unlike [cough] Payne [cough harder]. Anyway, parents even though Im a student at cccs, I encourage you to let your child come to this school. I mean Im a 6th Grader and I already get the roll in this school. Your child can learn how to draw beautifly, they can sing a lot better, and I am sure they will like it here. I love what Century Community Charter School (CCCS) has done and continues to do for the students who attend this charter school. I loved this school as a student but I love it even more as an employee. It blows my mind at how many opportunities these students have. Being an alum, apart of the first graduating class at CCCS (to be exact) brings me joy to be able to give back to my community. I am thankful for the principal, Mrs. Means (who was my 7th & 8th grade Honors English Teacher at CCCS and now my boss) for providing me with an opportunity to be the mentor to students just as she was then and still is for me currently. This school provides opportunities for students to explore the world and prepare them not only for college but for life. Being an African American Male and a product of Inglewood, CA I will say that Century Community Charter School prepared me and my classmates for success. A lot of my peers are doing amazing things in their personal lives and for their neighboring communities and Century Community Charter School still supports them and their endeavors. I currently have a degree from Loyola Marymount University and many students who have graduated from CCCS have degrees as well. If you want your child to thrive in a safe environment, excel academically and challenged everyday to be the best versions of themselves in a society where folks like to tell you who you are allowed to be and who you will be become than Century Community Charter School is the School for you. My little brother now attends Century Community Charter School for his second year now and has never been so excited to go to school. He has his moments just like any child about not feeling school on certain days but for the most part he loves CCCS and so does my mom!

They got one star only because I had to rate but this is a racist school please dont send your black child or children to this school. Let the mexicans have it your child will not win. My child was judged he never stood a chance from day one. Mr. FORD is the worst math teacher, Mrs Means is hen pecked PLEASE PLEASE dont send your BLACK child to this school you will REGRET IT PERIOD

I am a current 8th grader at CCCS. This is coming from a STUDENT at CCCS! CCCS is by far the best school ive ever been too! All teachers are very unique in their special way! So if your a parent who is trying to find a school for your kid. You can look right over here. Here at CCCS parents and school become a community! So this is the best middle school ever!
