Wish I could give this school no stars...sooo unorganized the staff have attitudes very unprofessional...sold candy for this school and when I tell you....never again...was told to pick it up at 2:30 I get there on time actually before time and only one staff was in charge of distributing candy....she had the worst attitude and I wanted to slap her for real.... She very lucky kids were around....you cant get in contact with teachers I called the main office and the phone just ring....my child is only a Kinder and Im not happy at all. I thought this school wouldve been better than this...Next year shes going to a different school😕

You mean the teachers at highland are just plain lazy and only are thinking for themselves ... Parents can not drop students off before 7:45am? you might as well just say 7:55m so the children can swallow breakfast to get to class before the bell rings.I have seen teachers allow children to leave the gates with out any parents.It has been reported that kids are playing around streets?? Then why are you allowing children to leave gates with out any parents. This Is ridiculous this school should be closed! bunch of teachers that hate life and that are miserable.As for Annette Beasley she Is a joke, she should be fired! I have never heard of a principal have so many so called meetings and can never meet with me or other parents In the past nor available for anything!!Every time I pick up my child all I hear are complaints from other parents that are concerned about the childrens education and treatment at that school.You want to solve this problem!!??? Inglewood needs to do a major over haul and fire some teachers and staff to teachers and staff that actually enjoy what they do for a living.

This school and their staff are compete ignorant and uneducated people. They allow bullying in that school. My little brother has been bullied at that school jumped by a group of boys in the restroom and nothing was done. He would get bullied all the time and every time my mom would go for help and ask for something to be done they’ll ignore it or blame it on my brother for defending himself. They see my brother as the bully when he is the victim. They complain about my brothers behavior when all he has done is defend himself. They accused him of been a terrorist. They allegedly said my 13 year old brother threaten a student and teacher saying that he told them he was gonna kill the teacher and kid. None of it is true at all. And when my parents asked for witness who heard my brother say those words they denied us it. Why ? Because no one heard him say it. They called the cops on my little brother and had him ARRESTED! He’s a little boy they didn’t even called my parents at first. What kind of school is that ? One of the staff there Mrs. Ochoa lied to the police so they would take my brother away. This isn’t the only injustice they’ve done. The list goes on. I recommend not to bring your kids here.

This school is absolutely unprofessional and rude with concerned parents. The new principal and staff are of no help or concern,the school was of great times when the old principal and staff was there. My daughter has been through hell with 2 boys who bullied her and they claim this investigative process to see whats going on.. one of the boys punched my daughter in the face. Nothing happened to the bully and just know it never happened and other parents have been there for so much more even staff mistreating students. Its a ghetto filled school that I should have never let my children attend

This is one of worse elementary schools in L.A County they lies on your kids starve them. The treat them like theyre in boot camp they call police on your kids make up the same story about your kid threats to kill the students they takes folders back packs and pencils these little kids gets treated so bad the needs to shut this school down or replace the staff with Whites Asians Hispanics any other race but the ghetto unprofessional staffs also the principal just as worse. They all have personal sexual relations so of course the will back eachother up

I graduated in 1993 and was a member of the basketball team. We went undefeated and even had teams chicken out. When i left this school it looked nothing like it does now. Cant wait to visit cali so i can see the school up close

Im gonna be honest...this school is 50% good .but the things they need to fix is the bathrooms,staff,supervisor,and most of all the lunch......its just bad,but theirs some good teacher and theirs only 3 staffs that ill be honest, are nice

Staff is no help and rude the teachers are bad as well I heard a parent complaining that her kids teachers never comes to work they make you wait for so long to enroll your children my babys have been without going to school for 7 days I lost a job interview to try and enroll them in for the 100th time and no they want me to wait for the principal to look at all the papers but she never has time am I supposed to wait until my kids loose a year of school so they can finally get enroll in 😡😡
