Extremely knowledgeable and welcoming group!

We had a fantastic time today at the beginners class. Judy was extremely knowledgeable and fun to work with. We learned a ton and had an absolute blast. We would definitely like to come back.

My husband and I tried a groupon to learn the basics of fencing. There were students there of every age and the instructor was wonderful. It was fun and energetic. I highly recommend you give this a try. It was easy to learn and apparently there really aren’t any age barriers. When I go for a run my mind flits everywhere and sometimes that is not very calming but fencing is very focused so you leave your daily thoughts at the door.

Judy (the coach) creates a fun and family friendly learning environment while also doing a great job at bringing life to an unusual sport.

My nephew goes here and all I hear about is how professional these guys are and that they do a very good job working with every person who comes in. I love seeing all the Facebook photos of my nephew having fun and enjoying every minute of being at Iowa City Fencing Center. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

This place is AMAZING!!!!!!!! The coach Judy graduated from Harvard with a master in education! I am beginner who did not fence previously, but I had a lot of fun!
