My younger son is a senior in high school now. He has been either accepted or waitlisted from all the schools he applied for. I would like to thank PA for all their help! It was such a blessing that we had a place to go to whenever we had a question or concerns. And I was especially thankful that the whole college application process was actually not that painful for my son, thanks to the counselors at PA. Starting with the ACT tutoring from Michael and Ben, UC application assistance from Wen, final review from Chris, friendly help from the office staff, and the constant assistance from Kelly, we had the whole PA team helping us. We truly appreciate it!! THANK YOU!!

I really enjoyed my time here when I took some summer prep classes. The SAT classes are very well done and my score went up significantly. While the staff is nice, the teachers are truly exceptional. The teachers Ive had are very experienced and know how to keep students engaged. Im pretty sure Ill be coming back.

No words to express my gratitude.Ive been familiar with PACP since 2012 as my sister took many classes here during her high school years as well. That said, I never took any classes until this summer, but I was received with warm enthusiasm from the faculty, administration, and the students themselves. There is a clearly a winning atmosphere about PACP - everyone is motivated to help each other and themselves grow as students and as people.During the past summer, I began ACT/SAT preparation realizing that this would likely be my only summer dedicated to it. I began in week 6 of the SAT program and later transferred into the ACT program during the eighth week. The lessons were invaluable; all of the teachers and counselors were instrumental in helping me prepare for the tests.Ill be the first to admit; I did not study in the month between leaving PACP and the test date itself. But what I retained from my weeks at PA were the many strategies that the teachers provided. All of their efforts were crucial in allowing me to get a full score on the exam, and I would like to thank all of the people that helped me in the process. Id definitely recommend PACP to anyone looking for two things: 1) a great environment to learn in AND 2) a legitimate test preparation center that will truly help you achieve what you desire.

This past summer, my son chose to take an ACT prep course over SAT. I wasn’t so sure about his decision at first. However, we couldn’t be happier with how he improved from a 26 on the PLAN (Pre-ACT) Diagnosis test to a 35 on his actual ACT test just a few months later. We don’t think he could have achieved this without the help of PA College Prep and its ACT preparation class. Here is what I believe worked so well for my son while attending PA College Prep. First, the experience of the teachers. All the teachers have many years of teaching experience in their subject areas. To them, this isn’t just a summer job they picked up, but a full-time profession. Second, the enthusiasm of the staff. The staff members were always eager to help us whenever my son or I had questions. For example, one time my son accidentally wrote his answers on the wrong sections of the answer sheet; the T.A., Joshua, then took extra time to grade the mismarked sections manually. Instead of feeling penalized, this experience helped improve my son’s learning experience, and motivated him to study harder. My son got his first ever 35 on the practice test the following week. Last but not least, the structure of the classes. Instead of just grouping students into classes based on their total Composite score, PA College Prep created two independent series of classes for Math/Science and Reading/English so that the students could receive much more individualized help to avoid boredom or feeling left behind.I would recommend this center to all my friends.

Hated PACP Irvine! If I could, I would give this zero stars. Unfortunately, the treatment I received here was horrible. The students were rude; there was a huge female/male division. Some of the teachers were quite kind, but a lot of them seemed to only work there for the money. This place ruined my childhood, but if you are one of those strict parents, well, I guess this is the place for you! PACP TOTALLY helps your child with academics... Yeah... :(The location is horrible as well. PACP is currently renting from a church, meaning they were really strict on how the students treated the property...Hey, if you want to make your child depressed, hey, send them here! (So glad I left this place for good.)

PA College Prep has definitely brought my life together. The staff and teachers are all very friendly in helping students to learn the materials and are willing to answer questions before, during, and after class. If you have the chance to get to know these teachers and staff, you will find that it is truly their best interest to bring out the potential and success of their students.I grew up in PA College Prep and spend endless hours interacting with not only the students but also the faculty. Even after years of graduation, I still often connect and hangout with the people Ive met in PACP. These are some of the closest friends and family I have over the years.During my years as a high school student, the counselors and tutors were always available for questions and for guidance. I felt complete relief during times of college application and SAT/AP testing because I know PACP had fully prepared me for such events. PACP provides structural programs of studies that ensures a student is covered in all curriculum; moreover, there are also personal programs of studies to fit the special need of individuals like the ESL students or transfer students. It is truly disheartening to see the negative ratings and comments. If given the chance, PACP definitely provides the most heartwarming and personalizing service. This is the place I call home.

Both of my girls spent all year long afterschool and summer/winter breaks at this school(former called ACI) since Kindergarten. They are now in 8th and 4th grades.ACI staff are very friendly and responsible, they treat my kids like their own. I get periodical academic updates from each class and teacher, I also receive reminder and advices from the supervisors which helps a lot.The huge difference between ACI and normal CDC next to each elementary is that ACI provides high quality additional education by great teacher even college professors, such as Reading, Writing, Math, Critical Thinking, Speech and Debate, etc. They even help the students to prepare for standard tests. They also observed when my daughter ran into academic difficulties and offered one-on-one tutor class.I had also used ACI college advisory to help my nephew in China applying post graduate program and he successfully got into Carnegie Mellon Computer Science which is one of the top 3 computer science schools in the world.I highly recommend this school to anyone.
