I brought two instruments from here. The owner and customer service is super nice. I think its the best music center in South California. Prices are reasonable, teachers are helpful.

Be careful with their business. Good on surface when you do not have a problem. Once you have a issue/dispute, they will show their true skin.I have a rental instrument, I have not picked up the order yet. I would like to cancel rental service and get the refund. They deny the refund by all means even the order has not been picked up. The 9 month rental money was up-held and NO-refundable regardless. The contract is ambiguous. Under Termination section, it states I can terminate the rental agreement without penalty. BUT the contract did not tell me the fact that the store gives me NO refund at all even couple days later I want to cancel the rental service and want to get my money back. Remarkably, I have not picked up the rental instrument or used it neither. Once rental contract is signed, they take my money deposited and offers no cancellation/refund at all. I am going to appeal to Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) - State of California regarding to unfair contract to customers.

I was very happy to have found this store! I had wanted a particular guitar and was finding it hard to order from anyone in the nation. Not only did Joseph put in my order with no problems, I got it at a very good price and was thrilled at the outcome. The Guitar, a Blue Moon Neptune, by Faith Guitars, had to come a long way to finally make it into my hands. It is exquisitely crafted for amazing sound and stunning to look at. Joseph never failed to get back to me every time I called. I am so impressed by this store that I will likely make guitar and music purchases from them in the future.

This is by far my favorite music store in the area. The employees are always very nice and helpful. I have been buying instruments and accessories from them for many years and I have always had great service. I recently purchased a Teenage Engineering OP-1 from them and they were very helpful in helping me decide. They have also given me support since the purchase, which I greatly appreciate. They have a great selection of guitars a well as Band and Orchestral instruments and offer lessons and repairs as well. Irvine Art and Music is my go to music store and I would defiantly recommend it!

I bought an alto sax for my son on Reverb from Irvine. It came as described, in gorgeous condition, and it was $1200 less than I would’ve paid for resting the same Alto brand new. This is a stand up company and you should be willing to pay a little extra because they’re a well established who follow up after the transaction. It’s not everyday you send $$$$ to a Cali outfit from Indiana. Thanks again!!

HORRIBLE PLACEIf I could give a 0, I would. They took 4 whole weeks to repair my instrument, when they said it would only take 3 days. They kept delaying it, I had to call literally every day. It took a ridiculously large amount to repair literally 2 pads . The staff is unprofessional and will try to rip you off. When youre about to pay, they change what they said and try to make up large amount of money for you to pay. I WOULD NEVER GO HERE AGAIN.

When my family and I got there they were very kind and they had very nice instruments.

The owner (old chinese man) is extremely rude. He will try to argue and raise the price last minute. Horrible service.

I am currently taking a drumming class here.Teachers are really professional, they definitely know what they are doing. I would definitely recommend trying the place out. If you need any additional help, they have many books you can look at.

Used them for repair for violin bow. Had some issues with the repair but most importantly they made good and left me better off than when I first went over there. Will definitely use for repair work again.

Responsive and fast

I took my vintage Bach Stradivarous trumpet in to have it chem cleaned and have some dents removed.The brass repair guy Dan did an amazing job.This trumpet looks brand new.I was amazed at how well it looks.I highly recommend Dan.
