I loved this class so much. The instructors really care about the students and the class super fun and enjoyable. Ms. Westmoreland was very good at explaining the lectures and made sure we had all the information. I would highly recommend this course.

The professors are absolutely great! My Lecture professor Mrs. Westmorland is a great instructor. She breaks things down and makes it easy to understand. My Lab professor Mrs. Perkins was also great. This school is one to recommend. The instructors both online and in person are super helpful and attentive to any questions you may have. The hands on labs are nerve-wracking at first but the teacher makes you feel confident and is right at your side. The resume help is great too, I was hired before even finishing the semester. I just recently finished the zoom lecture portion with Mrs.Westmoreland and she is AMAZING !!!! I was definitely nervous about it at first but she made it so much fun even though we were on zoom I definitely enjoyed it and I 100% recommend this school for phlebotomy!

I will say make sure your lab is no more than 30 minutes from your house or be sure to space your lecture class with your lab class to ensure you make it on time other wise you will be dropped from the course.

My lab instructor is awesome! She is very encouraging and makes sure we never give up. She prepares us for what it will be like in the real world and I enjoy that we have different types of veins to work with.

Educators are very informative with the lessons they are presenting. Mrs. Perkins, my lab instructor, is one of the best people Ive known since meeting her. She is very patient and offers positive critiques as she wants the best for everyone. My in classroom instructor, Mrs. Westmoreland is very precise in what shes expecting from her students and I wouldnt want anything less from someone who cares. I am grateful for my experience and will recommend to others who may want to pursue the career of, Phlebotomy. But if you arent going to take the course serious then dont waste anyones time because theres no excuses in the professional field..make it to class on time. Period! Awesome choice to require my certification. Mrs. Westmoreland the instructor is very on point and always makes sure she asks if we need anything she is also fun and laid back. I also like Mrs. Perkins the lab instructor she is so patient and kind.

Ive just started this program so I am not rating it a 5 based on completion but based on my experience up to the start of class. I initially enrolled almost 2 weeks in advance for the class starting on November 23, 2020. I did not find out until the Saturday prior to the start of class that I had to be in red scrubs during the Zoom class. This wasnt going to work for me due to my employer requiring I wear blue scrubs during the day. I had to wait until Monday to speak to someone and was told I needed to pay the enrollment fee again. I sent an email explaining why I thought the decision was unfair and then waited until 12/1 to hear back. Ms. Aguilar (I think thats her name) asked me what I wanted; what type of an outcome was I hoping for. I told her and we were able to come to an agreeable resolution. She was very kind throughout the process. My first day of class (last night), Ms Lori was very clear on expectations regarding the class and she was extremely professional. I cant attest to the curriculum or clinicals yet but I can definitely attest to their level of professionalism and for that I am pleased. I will come back and update after I have completed my course.

The instructors are amazing at communicating the information needed and are very detailed. They are patient and work with you to make sure you are understanding the criteria. I was afraid of needles and my lab instructor helped me break out of that fear.

My experience at Texas school of Phlebotomy has been amazing , the instructors have given me and experience that will help me further my career in such a short amount of time.

I regret taking my class to get my certification here. The certification you can get after this class (AMCA) is not the one that all the employers want and because there is no clinical portion to the class you dont qualify to even take the certification. I felt like they were not honest about that instead talking about how there were so many jobs.So even though there are lots of phlebotomy jobs, without the experience or the desired certification you dont even qualify for the vast majority of them.If you just need to get better at phlebotomy its fine and honestly, my teacher was great, the person at the front desk was super nice and the facility was nice and clean. But to start in the profession, go to a real school with a clinical so you can actually get your foot in the door and save yourself a lot of time.

This is a great school I’ve learned so much. Ms. Westmoreland and Ms. Perkins are wonderful and so helpful!

I would never RECOMMEND anyone to attend this school. They are bias, racial and very unprofessional. On March 30 I was dropped from the program because I was late by 5 mins. Other(white) classmate was late and had the chance to continue without an explanation . The staff, director and Ms. Perkins are all rude and racial. A refund was not issued to me even though I had 1 week left to finish this program. They are doing something very unethical during this pandemic to people who are trying to make ends meet and everyone deserves a second chance. All they’re looking for us to profit off of the poor and person looking to make a better life for themselves.

I have enjoyed my classmates and Teachers here at TSP. I am so happy I took the course an will for sure be looking into other courses that they offer! thank you to everyone involved with TSP!

I scheduled for BLS class back in march for april section. Class was canceled due to covid. This is September, all hope to get my refund back has prove abortive. They keep saying government has not given them the go ahead to carried out the training when all sectors are opened. They also said they do not refund for bls class.The case here is not me demanding refund on my own terms. Class was canceled dued to covid which is not my fault or the school fault. The best is to refund or provide other alternatives. BLS are being held in other training centers. I dont no why this place is different. I feel am being ripped off a service that was not rendered. Do not go there or even if you decide to make payment on the day of your training to avoid stories.

HORRIBLE, DO NOT RECOMMEND. I attended the whole month of July A’s my quizzes. Never got my final grade. Due to covid I went a month without going to labs, showed up for labs today after driving an hr. To be told that I had been dropped, she claims that she had called me. I received ZERO calls/emails .A WASTE of a month. A waste of gas (1hr there and 1hr back) . A waste of 1,000.

They treat you like family with hands on training

Listen folks, they cant even hire someone to answer the phone correctly, tried for 2 days to get information regarding the workshop, talked to a supervisor, and still got no where. Miya, totally worthless. If they cant even manage a simple request to register for a workshop, they cant manage this course well either. Go to another school where at least you will be able to speak with knowledgeable professionals, get your questions answered, and get help in registering for the class. BTW Dallas Career Institute, scrubs included is $850.00, not $1000, so you save some money too. Not impressed with my interaction on 7/28, 7/29, seems they just rotate to whomever to answer the phone, terrible impression.

I had to rate this horrible unprofessional place in order to leave a review, the way this place treats people is absolutely disgusting. I originally register for the morning class back in September, I had signed up for the morning class and somehow got out in the afternoon class, when I addressed the mistake they refused to switch me to morning, I am pregnant so trying to find another job to accomadate there mistake wasnt going to work when they couldnt switch It for me. So I spoke to the director, an was told I would be getting my enrollment fee of $100 back, this was October 16th mind you, I call back December 1st an ask if the re fund was ready? He acted as if he didnt know what I was talking about an asked if somebody could give me a call back, now I have seen two different names of owners of the school on her, the said owner Mrs angular calls me this morning an tells me she doesnt know why I thought I was getting a re fund, in the notes from a said Debra it says nothing about re fund this an this, I have no reconciliation of speaking with a debra, I told her this an she continues to be unprofessional an rude an hangs up on me. Im glad it was only a $100 an not more. This place is an absolute joke with no type of class or professionalism! Please fine a better school to further your education at! Save your self the trouble!

Good school, i recommend this to anyone who wants to do phlebotomy. They are have really good, patient, caring and hardworking instructors. They teach you all you all whats important and need to know when you are out in the field. I was nervous in the beginning but they helped me build my confidence and i am super grateful for that. This school though me a lot of things that I didnt know , the instructor was extremely professional and very helpful. My problem with the school is that they like to sell you on this idea that your gonna get a job before you graduate or right after. Its been months since Ive graduated from the school and still no job I did everything the school told me to do but nothing and I know that Im not the only one with this problem. I went to one of there career fairs and it was just me and a lot of other girls waiting in a room to get interview some girls had been waiting for up to 3 hours. There where girls there that still hadnt found a job in this fill that had been graduated almost a year. To me this school was a wasted of time and money, I feel like they again like to sell you that Phlebotomy is such a desire profession but to be honest we are just competing for a handful of jobs in the DFW area that are not gonna hire you unless you have more the a 1yr or more experience.

Taking this class has been one of the best experiences in my life. The instructor (Ms.Sanders) is absolutely amazing and an expert in the field of study. Don’t hesitate....sign up!

I NEVER take the time to write reviews but I have to say, I found this course to be thorough with a great flow. 1st half of class is lecture and second half is lab. Our class became family and Ms. Gina is phenomenal!! I passed with flying colors and have 3 interviews set up thanks to the support. Decided to enroll in the school because it had good reviews. Once I started class the reviews had no justice. Starting with the first person I met in the office Cindy, she has been very helpful since day one she made me feel very comfortable during the enrollment process and made me feel feel very welcomed I feel that I can come to her about anything. My experience with Ms. Gracie and Ms. Shelbi was awesome. Theyre great at what they do especially when it comes to key things on the exam. I thought it was going to be hard, the instructor (Gracie & Shelbi) did a great job!!!!! I had a bad experience with Gina so I dont to much care for her I felt as if she doesnt care about real life situations no understanding at all.....but sometimes people need to put them selves in other peoples shoes before you just have a bad attitude... The school is good with small classes. The only negative for me was having to pay in the middle of the week. Most people dont get paid until Fridays and having to pay on a Wednesday was such a pain! I would also recommed the school get more chairs for more stick time.

Ms.Sanders is the best instructor. The school itself is great and she just makes it 10x better. The school creates an ehire profile for you and helps you build a resume, as well as find you a job. After the class is over you have access to it for 1 year. You learn the order do draw and all types of venipunctures.

I worked hard to make the best grade and did. One of my classmates failed almost every thing yet passed with an 84. The lab is poor. They use expired equipment and we couldnt practice order of draw. Alsi they had us use the same tubes until gone then they would break out another tray.Signing up for classes I was told they would help me find a job. After graduation The Texas School of Phlebotomy sent an email e-hired and all of the positions required 1year experience or more. Everytime I got the email a job to be an instructor at the school was on there needing 5 yrs experience.I called, emailed and went to the school to help get a job. When I went to the school the last time instructor kept talking louder and louder then told me to lower my voice!! I was only asking for her help.I would not recommend this school.

After lots of research I decided to enroll and I am glad I did. The instructors and administration are great. The material was very informative and the best part was they took the stress out of finding a job, I am now getting daily job lead emails.

The learning environment was great , I met wonderful people in the class, and the instructor was amazing. That being said the administrative staff was a nightmare and seemed as though they went out of our way to make us feel unwelcomed. Rude staff answers the phone and [doesnt] greet you at the door, much less utter a sound to you unless theyre forced to reply. Everything in the class and the lab was exciting, but the staff pretty much killed the experience.

Best experience ever. The class is amazing it’s only 6 weeks and so worth it. The instructors here are amazing as well! They not only teach about phlebotomy but the nitty gritty of what phlebotomist do outside of school.
