If you want your kid to be good dancer i would say pls enroll them here. All the teachers are very dedicated and enthusiastic. The academy is not money oriented but definitely quality oriented. I put my daughter in all form of classical but I finally liked this form just because the way they teach and the way they handle kids. Highly recommend..

My daughter has been learning from Mrs Praveena Vajja since she last 7 yrs. We started her when she was 6 yo and was closer to the school. We moved to Frisco farther away from the school but we liked the school so much, we didn’t want to switch teachers. We would drive over the weekend and take our daughter to class. Mrs Praveena was always accommodating with timings and sharing class videos for easy practices. Along with the excelling training, we could also rent out lovely costumes for every show while our child was growing up and enjoyed the whole experience of dance training. We had to later move to Canada. We kept looking for local teachers and finally decided to try online training with Natyom pre pandemic. For last 21/2 years our daughter has been training online from Natyom and we are very happy. Even online, she is progressing very well with detailed corrections and smaller class sizes. Even though she got a break, Mrs Praveena is very caring and accommodating in helping my daughter catch up and stay in the batch of her old friends. There are so many groups if same age and level students that it is easy to do a make up class if needed. My daughter recently took the first level exam through SAMPADA and got distinction in both theory and practical because of the schools intense all rounded training.

I have been one of Praveena aunty’s disciples for about 9 years. Each and every day I spent learning at Natyom Dance Academy was one to be cherished. I was faced with many opportunities that not only improved my skills as a dancer, but my social skills as well. My daughter has been going to Natyom Dance Academy since 2016. It is very rare to find a school that cares for their students at this level. We don’t have any stress about costumes, jewelry, performance locations. The director, Mrs Praveena Vajja, makes it all easy. Anything we need, she has it at the school including bright costumes in so many sizes. My wife and daughter love dressing up for the different performances. The quality of dance and the training is excellent. We even receive detailed corrections of assignment videos every week. All the teachers and team members are always so caring and helpful. They all work together as one family. Even during the pandemic, there have still been online training for over one year. I have seen significant progress in our daughters online training. Students are given opportunities to take Certification exams through a University which has a structured curriculum. The exam system is like a goal training the students in both theory and practical. My daughter got Distinction and is very happy. For parents who feel aramgetrams are expensive, me and my wife feel this examination system is a good way to challenge the student. The exam fee and training fees are quite good and affordable. My daughter continued her dance classes even during the Pandemic and the full credit goes to Mrs Praveena Vajja and her team of teachers who are all excellent in training online. The students had small group online classes and were able to learn with all corrections and same discipline as in person class. It was very convenient to see my daughters dance class at home and not driving to activities. The school has very good collection of costumes in multiple sizes and patterns. So after each term during the pandemic, we would rent a costume and record solo videos of our child in a background we made at our time. Lot of Natyom Students took Exams through SAMPADA SiliconAndhra portal even during the Pandemic. My daughter along with many of her batch mates got distinction in both practical and theory because of the strong online training ,guidance and encouragement at the Academy. I have been part of the Natyom Dance Academy for now over 11 years, and every moment has been a memory. Before the pandemic and during the pandemic, we as a school have worked hard and adapted to the new environment, and have crafted into great dancers. With the help of all the teachers and their dedications to help students, we were able to tackle anything that came our way. We were very fortunate to learn from Mrs.Praveena Vajja’s dance master, Natyacharya Sri Avasarala Rukmaji Rao, it was a great blessing to learn from a legendary teacher. As students, we see his teaching skills and dedication to the art form of dance through our dance teacher Mrs.Praveena. As a student of Natyom, I strive to sculpt myself into a great dancer following what the Kalakshetra Guru Parampara taught. Mrs.Praveena allowed us to earn our junior level certification; even though all of the training for the exam was done online, we as a school have done a great job learning virtually. I have been learning Bharatanatyam from Natyom for four years, and with the guidance of Praveena aunty and the rest of her team, I have been able to develop my skills and technique. I am currently enrolled in a four year course in Bharatanatyam to earn a certification. We were able to complete the first level course during the pandemic. Since these exams have both a practical and theory section, I was able to not only work on my adavus, but learn about the origin and history of dance. I am also assisting and helping to teach kids classes, which has also given me a lot of knowledge and confidence in dance. Even throughout the pandemic, she was able to create various performance opportunities in the form of video shoots. All in all, Praveena aunty and the other teachers in Natyom are extremely good at both teaching students and allowing them to excel, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

I attended classes at Natyom Dance Academy as an adult beginner. In the beginning i thought classical dance is not my cup of coffee, But as i was practicing dance workouts every week i rediscovered myself. I am a dentist and joined Natyom 5 years ago as an Advanced Adult student as I finished my arangetram and was looking for advanced lessons. Praveena Ma’m teaches according to traditional Kalakshetra style and her teaching technique is excellent. She gave me opportunity to teach students at Natyom and also gives me training how to become a nice teacher. My daughter spent the summer at this wonderful school and cried and cried when I had to take her out of it, due to our move to a different state. The owner, Dr Praveena Vajja, is a very passionate, knowledgeable and kind teacher and has passed on her skills wonderfully to the senior students (like the beautiful and wonderful Sowmeyaa) who in turn now train the younger ones, under Praveenas close supervision. Its like a sisterhood and every kid leaves there feeling they absolutely belong there! My kid cannot wait for the next holidays so she can get back! Love Natyom and everyone there!

My daughter is learning Bharatanatyam at Natyom Dance Academy under the tutelage of Mrs.Praveena Vajja. The class is filled with enthusiastic kids who enjoy the classes while learning the Bharatanatyam skills. My kids are students of Praveena garu for the past 5 years at Natyom Dance School. Praveena is an amazing teacher with lots of patience. She not only teaches dance to kids but also explains our tradition and culture in a way that kids understand. She is very accommodating with kids dance class schedule as she offers multiple time slots for make up classes.
