I have had a really positive experience through RC Healths EMT program. With chaotic COVID times, they handled it well. My initial instructor was Tim Taylor who was GREAT--so responsive and helpful and caring. Angie how works for RC Health has also been SO resourceful and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about her!!! She went out of her way to answer my questions. The skills days were great for learning hands on and Jimmy ran it wonderfully. We had the chance to ask endless questions, practice receptively until we felt comfortable, and it was evident the instructors cared. My only difficulty has been the switching of instructors. I would recommend teachers check in a bit more as I get confused about the online program. But other than that, I loved the flexibility of doing the class online and remotely. Thanks Angie, Tim, Jimmy, and Ashleigh!

Signed up for my CPR-BLS class recommended by my employer and Brian was our instructor today. Must say from attending several classes before, Brian was most engaging and allowed us his personal experiences to learn from. Definitely a good source for CPR class, they let you borrow the book to follow through class as well as study sheet to know important notes and be able to pay attention. Will be coming back here for next renewal! 🫀🫁👩🏻‍⚕️

Renewed my BLS certification today with Dyana Vinton at RC Health Services and had a great experience. This was my second time renewing with this company and they do an excellent job of making the courses interactive and applicable to real life scenarios. Both my instructor this time and last were licensed paramedics and having this background allows them to bring specific scenarios that we may not otherwise encounter. The helpful hints and tips are extremely helpful for non-textbook cases! Thank yall 😊

RC Health services Irving location was honestly the best experience for doing NREMT testing. James and Jason made the day less nerve racking by telling stories and life experiences and keeping the students engaged. The instructors honestly want nothing but the best for their students. Highly recommend RC Health even during COVID they have worked and switched to having classes completely online, so of course there will be some hiccups but you just adapt and overcome.Highly recommend Jason for BLS just the way his positive attitude is makes me want to take that boring course over again with him!

My time working with RC Health was the absolute worst educational experience of my life.I completed RC Health’s EMT Program during the pandemic, which meant the majority of class time took place over Zoom. The instructors did not teach, but instead read directly from the PowerPoints or textbook. The few in person skill labs were the only opportunity to learn how to conduct patient assessments, how to use a blood pressure cuff, listen for a pulse, etc. This type of environment leads students to memorize information rather than understanding the material. There were many mistakes made by instructors during the duration of the course. Instead of taking responsibility for mistakes, the instructors would often pass blame and at times pass it off to their students. For example, the students did not have a direct phone number to call instructors after class time. The only way to contact an instructor after class was via email. It would take days to receive a response back. When provided that feedback, the instructor (Tim) stated there was not enough time to read emails for over 300 students unless the email subject was labeled “URGENT.”Since completion of this course is required to be able to apply for many fire departments, I made sure I turned everything in on time and completed to avoid delaying course completion and missing a potential career opportunity. Since the majority of interactions occurred online, we often had to send our instructors paperwork via email. At one point, I was informed I could not proceed with course completion because I failed to turn in paperwork. I promptly responded back to inform the instructor (Lynn) I had in fact turned in all the required documents. I had to wait anxiously for days to find out if I could continue on because they did not respond to emails timely. When I finally received an answer, the instruct advised me that I was disrespectful for stating their information was incorrect. Finally, after completing my clinicals (6 weeks past my scheduled end date, because a different instructors screw up) I turned my paperwork into Lynn with a request to be processed ASAP so I could move on with my life. Her response was that I was owed nothing from her and it will get done when she felt it necessary.Long story short, this is possibly the worst organization and education I have ever had to experience. I suggest that you find your EMT classes from some other source.

I went to RC Health Services for the EMT-B fast paced traditional course. The course itself was about 10 weeks long. There are many positive and very few negative aspects for attending school at this location. To begin with, there was always someone available to assist in any situation that required immediate attention. The front office staff would make an attempt to resolve any issue or redirect me to where I could be helped. I would occasionally arrive at the office early to study, and the staff would let me in so that I may be comfortable inside the classroom. Additionally, the location was very accommodating to requests from students. The instructors went out of their way to schedule a skills practice class so as to correspond to the availability of the class.Furthermore, every instructor was professional and extremely knowledgeable in their field. The class itself was small in size which allowed for the teacher to give enough attention to each student. My instructor used both exact word-for-word information form the official Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured textbook and personal experience from working so many years. The only negative aspects of the school are pretty negligible. Primarily, I would have found the documentation notes on their website more useful if they were redone to reflect real world examples. Miscommunication between staff was a small issue, but concerns would be resolved without much delay. Employees of RC Health Services acted responsible for their duties to the students and treated us strictly but fairly. Each person’s experience may be different and there will always be a possibility of misunderstandings in communication, but overall every issue that arose was dealt with promptly. As a recent graduate from the EMT-B program and new hire for an ambulance company, I can attest for the competence and quality of the school’s education.Franklin Escobar, NREMT

Online EMT program was horrible! One of the online instructors stuck an NG tube in a students nose during skills class and it was videotaped! Instructor laughed at being reported to the state meanwhile no discipline was taken by the school. The office staff and instructors are unorganized, skills days were useless (instructor tells you what the skill is then has you sign off on them), instructors are unprofessional, school was very outdated, and clinical sites were the bottom of the barrel! Go to another school for a solid foundation and graduate with confidence... do not go here!!ps- most employers will not hire from this school, just ask around to see for yourself. RC Health Services has a horrible reputation in the EMS community! Their clinical sites prove it.
