Being a student at Universal Energy Martial Arts was a great experience. The chief instructor/owner and his staff are dedicated, to ensuring that each student from age 4 to adult learn, grow, and strengthen their mind, body and spirit. The atmosphere is formal in respect but also genuine in caring for others. You feel like an extended family. During my time I accomplished my goal and attained my black belt. With all I learned I am confident that I can be successful in anything I put my mind to. I highly recommend this school for personal growth and skill.

Universal Energy Martial Arts is one of the best marital arts school I have known. When I was looking for martial arts class 5 years ago, I called 6-7 other schools and Owner/Chief Instructor James Carr was the only one to call me back. I feel welcomed and comfortable. The staff and instructors are great and are amazing roll models for the students.

My two sons have been students at UEMA for multiple years and have had a wonderful experience there. Sir James Carr is an amazing and dedicated instructor with true passion for his students success not only at his school and Martial Arts but also in life. If you are looking for a martial arts school for your child I would highly recommend this school. All of the instructors are great. Students not only learn martial arts, but learn discipline,respect for others,unity,and helping one another. This helps them grow mentally along with physically by training the Universal Energy Martial Arts way.

UEMA is an excellent Martial Arts studio. My kids not only have a great time at their karate classes, their confidence and focus has grown immensely. Sir does an amazing job of keeping it age relevant and keeping the little ones engaged, learning and having fun. He can be very serious but also quite silly. They meditate, laugh, run, jump, climb, do their forms, play dodge-ball and are supported by a great group of instructors!

Love this place! The teachers are amazing and your kid not only learns the skills but also learns to be respectful, responsible and kind. I highly recommend it!

My son is THRIVING in school, sports and academics because of Sir Carrs discipline and passion for martial arts and the desire for his students to succeed in every aspect of their lives. Sir Carr instilled a way of honor and respect in my son who then was able to apply in his life. Thanks to Universal Energy Martial Arts, Im proud to say my son was also a National Junior Olympic competitor in the 2015 USATF because of the focus and discipline of this academy. Both my kids learnt Martial arts for multiple years at Universal Energy and learnt so much throughout these years. Focus here is not just to learn Martial Arts but how to incorporate discipline and true martial arts teaching in your life. Very impressed by the owner James Carr and would highly recommend it for any person, child or adult who wants to learn the true meaning of martial arts.
