Good they help you get better

We have been sending our granddaughter there for the last 2 years, it is going down hill fast! We will not be sending her there again, so unorganized they spend about 10 minutes of our paid hour actually kinda teaching them “dance” our granddaughter never wants to go and now I know why! Don’t waste your money!

The ladies are awesome and very understanding when kids are very shy.

Could not have been more disappointed with the teacher and staff at Next Step Dance. My child took a beginning dance class and they spent most of the class time running around to music while the teacher stood by the CD player.The only dance steps that were taught were the ones for the song, which they did once or twice a class.I thought fine, my child is having fun even if she isnt learning. But I was done when my daughter fell in class, bruising her face, and nothing was done. They had no fall protocol or even an ice pack to put on the bruise. Instead they gave her a wet paper towel to hold on her face while they went through the dance.The teacher also told a group of five and six year olds that it was their fault they didnt know the dance well enough. Even though she didnt teach them right. Never even faced them to dance or help them with the steps.The director emailed me at the beginning, but was a no show twice. Even after we walked out mid-class, no one bothered to do more than send us a bill.I would be embarrassed to run a business like that. The lack of safety was abhorrent and the lack of quality was just as bad.If you want your child to actually learn something, dont take them here. If you want them to learn how to dance safely, defiantly stay away.

I danced here for about 10 years. I always felt welcome and cared about here. We worked hard and had a lot of fun on the way.

Love the staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Variety of classes offered. Great recital at the end of the year.
