My husband and I have had children at Jackson Academy for over 23 years. It is a wonderful place for families who value exceptional academic achievement combined with strong character development. At JA, the teachers and administrators genuinely care about students and their families. Its a great place for students and parents too!

Only one more year of this disaster. Trying so hard to act like saint andrews and torture students with busy work. School will be under water in less than 10 years bc of the part of town and lack of common sense held by the school.

Focuses entirely too much on sports and almost completely ignores the academically talented in favor of the sporty kids. I would go as far to say that youre paying for a public school level education. Unless youre talented in sports, enroll somewhere else. For $15,000 a year, it is completely unacceptable for teachers to start chewing out and fuming at students over a singular, extremely minor infraction. The only reason that Im not posting a one-star is because there are some talented kids in the school. Overall, there are MUCH better choices academically in the area.

LOVE JA preschool!! We could not have ask for a better place for our 3 children to have started their early education! Great academics with the sweetest, most nurturing environment!

We have absolutely LOVED JA! The preschool was so amazing for all three of mine...now we are loving the Lower School and Middle School!

Jackson Academy is a wonderful place. My children are receiving a great education in a nuturing environment that is age appropriate by grade level. The teachers training and adaptation to different styles of learning is remarkable. The faculty and staff equip the students with knowlege in the classroom environment but also train them as they become professionals. I love the partnership between parents and teachers! Go Raiders!

Jackson Academy is a wonderful school with many opportunities for students in academics, athletics, and the arts. This school does a fantastic job at welcoming students and providing them with an environment that best suits their wants and needs. I spent my final three years of high school at JA, and it provided me with great academic rigor while also allowing me to be involved in extracurricular activities. All in all, JA is a Christian environment that encourages and cares for each and everyone of its students.

Very impressed with academic quality, caring administration and teachers. My kids love it, though they are having to work hard.

Wonderful place for your child to grow in a loving environment full of so much JOY! JA is such a special school for students, parents and teachers. I was a student for 14 years at JA, and I am so thankful for the life lessons I learned there.

An Christian environment that ALL can learn and receive encouragement in order to move forward in todays world from age 3 through grade 12.

Great education but lacking in diversity of thought and culture...

The current headmaster, William Patrick Taylor, deliberately failed to report the abuse of a mentally ill child with a brain injury when he was headmaster at St Pauls in Mobile, AL. Just a heads up about the type of person the heads that school. (Taylor believed the lies of the sociopathic mother and unleased all the staff and students on the floundering student instead of calling the police.)
