My daughter has struggled. With the help of the Wonderful teachers here at Paragon Academy, shes getting where she needs to be. They take the time to help out in any way they can. They work really well with the parents. I will be having my daughter go back next school year! Keep up the wonderful work Teachers your all AMAZING ❤️.

I like the fact that my daughter jas to wear a school uniform. I also liked the virtual classes during the pandemic. Her teacher was awesome. I just dont like tje fact that not a lot of homework or study material was given for after school. However I would recommend.

When I was looking for a school for my son before he started kindergarten, I visited 4-5 schools in Jackson. Public and parochial. I found in Paragon Charter the best of both. A school with a dress code and a Code of Moral Conduct. A school that encourages him to exceed his own expectations. A school that encourages parent participation, both in daily school activities and in after school activities. There is a community here that helps out.There was some negative press. However, it the issues were misrepresented in the press. This is a school of inclusion and diversity.I encourage you to consider Paragon for your children. Come visit the campus to see for yourself.

My kids have attended Paragon since 2015. We love the caring staff, emphasis on personal academic growth, and the moral focus programming. I frequently find I can use the moral focus characteristic of the month (i.e. honesty, integrity, perseverance, etc.) to help encourage my boys character at home. I feel a persons character is even more of a determinant of their success in adulthood than their academic progress. Kudos to Paragon for all the extra effort you put in to help shape our young people!

Well heres my 2cents, had a friend go on and on about how great this School was while her kids were there, maybe 2018 was the last, bcuz my Son came from Sharp Park Academy and he was bullied, kicked and hit, for no just reason. Finally after a meeting with the Teacher, then the Principal, and again the Dean, just ridiculous!! This whole year the same children in his class constantly get in trouble, and bcuz of their actions the whole class has to suffer and miss out on free time instead of making those that act up suffer but yet the whole year those children that were obedient would continue to miss out bcuz of others which isnt fair. Also Bullying should be ZERO TOLERANCE everywhere, but apparently it doesnt apply here at Paragon bcuz after this happening numerous times these kids only received slaps on the hand, but I truly believe had that been my Son doing the hitting, kicking, and threatening he would have been suspended or expelled. I dont understand why when kids are acting up why they are getting sooooooooo many chances to get their acts together with very little consequences. Im not happy with the way things are handled in these situations and no child should have to be anyones doormat to continue to step on knowing they wont get in much trouble for their actions. My Son will NOT return and anyone and everyone that will listen Im going to tell them of what my Son went thru and how it was handled. Although staff was very kind, I wouldnt give anyone who ask a recommendation on Paragons behalf.

The teachers are very disrespectful and don’t take care of things that involve drama well and instead immediately give blues and call home they are also racist and treat people of color poorly there lunch lady also doesn’t have a problem with letting kids not eat lunch I once got miss counted so my teacher didn’t put me in for hot lunch and she didn’t even try to get one for me after I told the principal he did nothing about it the lunches are also very nasty and taste like a card bored box

I love paragon but there lunches I eat hot lunch so yea it is gross really gross

Went there since their pre-school that they ended up not keeping. (only was up for about 2 years) Pretty sure school food cant be considered food. Pretty sure friend is going to die at age 23 because of school food. I had to eat school food at one point... never ate lunch. Doesnt allow many opportunities to be socially awkward / anti-social as I would prefer. Wouldnt recommend if you want child to survive past 23 because they ate the school food, poisons you.
