Nearly half of the 2 hour trail ride is along a gravel road. I didn’t take pictures of the gravel road because it wasn’t worth photographing. The view at the top is pretty but it’s not worth the ride on the hard saddle. The guide provided very little communication and interaction with the group. My horse Yellowstone bit the horse in front of me during the ride causing the horse in front (Champagne) to buck slightly. Fortunately no one got hurt. When we notified the guide of the incident he blew it off and said that the horses do that some time. When we returned from our ride, we told another worker of the incident and she said that the horses bite sometimes. For those that may be thinking of riding with this company please know that a trail horse should not bite but apparently these do. I would not ever ride with this company.

We had a great experience with A Ok Corral. They chose very well behaved horses for my 8 year old twins and 10 year old daughter. The horses are very gentle and the views are beautiful. Kendra was our guide and was very patient with my excited kiddos. Would recommend them to families with small kids.

My wife and I went out on a trail ride end of May 2021 and had a great experience! Our guide Teresa was very knowledgeable with the area and very friendly. The horses were very well behaved and we were able to ride through some very fun and scenic terrain. We enjoyed the 4 hour ride and would like to come back again soon. We would recommend A ok Corral to anyone visiting the area.

On our first trip to Jackson we decided to try a horseback ride and we are sure glad we did! It was a beautiful ride with a knowledge guide. It was obvious that Kevin and his wife Jennie are passionate about the business and take good care of their staff and the horses. We’d highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

My husband and and I took our two oldest grandchildren on a 3 hour horseback ride. Cassie was our guide. She was fantastic. My husband and I also rode 3 years ago in Wyoming. That was great. This was simply a better experience! Our grandchildren absolutely loved riding! Cassie is such a special guide! Thank you to all of you!

Beautiful well-behaved horses and great views. Was hoping to go across creeks on the 2 hour ride; which is one large loop instead of a continuous path, so you end up seeing the same things twice. Overall it was a nice time and the staff is very friendly. You might want to consider bringing a mask as there is a lot of dust kicked up while on the trails.

We called just a couple of days before, and they were able to accommodate my daughter and I. It just worked out that way, but we ended up on a very personal half day trail ride with just the two of us and our guide. Horses were wonderful and gentle, and our guide Rebekah was really amazing. Super sweet and friendly and had all kinds of information about the local area. Nice quality sack lunch by a beautiful stream, and stunning scenery all around. Highly recommend!

My first visit to A-OK Corral was in 16 and I knew then I would bring my Daughter with me next time I returned. We did that in 21 and couldnt have been more pleased with our 3 Hour Horse CreekWater Crossing Ride! Madie was the perfect guide; pointing out things of interest along the trail and always had our safety in mind. Chomper and Willow were awesome to ride and the views were outstanding. We highly recommend the A-OK Corral to riders of all skill levels and abilities. 5 stars and we cant wait to go back someday!HINT: look for the eagle in the rock at the top of the cliffs peak!

Dont let the initial route fool you! In the beginning, you ride your horse on the side of a back road. This is just temporary to get you to the good stuff. We climbed up and down the mountains to see some incredible views. Our guide (Maddie) was extremely comfortable on her horse and recognized that we were comfortable as well. So rather than scolding us if we didnt stay nose to butt, she allowed a little separation based on the horses comfort. She was also very knowledgable of the area. I think this was the best ride we have even gone on.

We had a great 2 hour horseback ride. Cassie? I believe that was her name, was our guide. She let us know she wasnt feeling well because of the heat which is understandable. Despite that she was very happy and talkative and pushed through so we could have an enjoyable time!

We rode today as a family of four. Our guide was Teresa. The experience was extremely fun. Our youngest, 8 years old, was a natural thanks to Teresas guidance. We would definitely return for the 2 hour trip in the future.

We looked online at several places to ride before choosing A OK and we are glad we did! Our guide Slim is a true cowboy in every sense of the word. It was our boys first time on a horse and Slim took the time to make sure they felt comfortable. He kept a close eye on them and after a few minutes they were both having the time of their lives! The 2hr ride was perfect. Ride to the top and the views were excellent. Dont look any further than A OK!

Our family enjoyed our two hour ride! The horses were gentle and our guide was fun and knowledgeable. We’ve been on other trail rides before but this one was the real deal!

This was a great experience. The chose the 2 hour ride which was perfect, not too long and not too short. We rode the most beautiful horses. They looked well taken care off. The horse were well behaved. They trail was up the this gorgeous mountain top and then back down.

This is by far the best horseback riding place in town. The staff is so nice and are guide Jordan was super nice. My horse Navajo was super fun and I would recommend him to anyone who wants a little excitement because he likes trotting. Overall 5 stars.

We had a group of 10 and had an amazing experience on our two hour ride to the top of the hill. The view was unbelievable. Morgan was our trail ride leader and she was very knowledgeable of all the horses and was excellent at her job. I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you again Morgan!

Went on a 2 hour tour and it was exactly what we were looking for. Very beautiful sights through trees and on top of the surrounding hills. Our guide kyle was great.. would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed this place. My daughter who is 6 was very scared of the horses at first but the guide named Slim was very comforting and helped her get past her fear. He really took his time with her and seemed to really enjoy teaching a small child to ride a horse for the first time. Thank you Slim. I would come back again and recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I rode horses for the first time at the A-OK Corral. We took a great 2 hour trip with another couple up into the hills and back down. I highly recommend - the view was spectacular and it was easy enough the handle the horse for the first time.

We enjoyed our 2 hour tour on horseback with our guide Abby. The view of the mountains were great and thankfully the day was sunny but not overly warm. The staff were really good about making sure everyone was comfortable on their mount and gave the horses several breaks to ensure they were not overly stressed on the mountainous terrain.

Our ride was the best part of our trip! We took our 3 children ages 9, 12 and 13. This was our first experience on a horse and our guide, Slim, was so patient, helpful and fun! We couldnt have asked for a better experience. The route, service, and views were outstanding.

We booked a ride last-minute through our concierge at the hotel in Jackson. We arrived and the horses were ready and waiting. Our guide, Billy, was polite, informative, and funny and gave us a really nice and relaxed private tour. There were definitely some steeper spots to the trail, but i never once felt unsafe. You can tell the horses are well-cared for and the staff respects each other and the owner. Thanks for a great ride!

We were in Jackson two times last summer and visited the A ok corral. My husband and I went together on the first trip and had a great time. I fell in love with my horse Chief. The guide was informative and you could tell he loved his job. The horses were well cared for and the scenery was stunning. We had such a great time that when we returned later in the summer with our family we took them all on a ride. Again we had a great guide Mitch. He seemed to match each person with a horse that matched their personality. We were impressed with the organization of the staff and care of the horses. Such a fun trip and we will return again next year.

Friendly staff and guide. Nice big horses. The ride was nice with lots of up and down hills, forests and valleys to see. Easy to make a reservation amd easy to find.

I went there last year. I was not impressed. The horses were very dirty. I would not go back. the tour we took was rather boring. I am a very experienced rider, classic and western.

A-OK corral was great! We were able to get scheduled on short notice and they were very good to us. My husband has a disability that made it difficult to mount the horse but they catered to his needs very well and made sure he was taken care of. We were very impressed with their customer service and had a great experience.

The staff are nice enough, however, they put people on horses they could not handle which didnt make their ride enjoyable. Also, the so-called trail is a very rugged, steep, switchback that is very narrow and full of places where trees and boulders rip against your legs. I am an experienced rider and I thought it was dangerous for most people. Not good. I guess thats why these guys are less expensive than other places around the area. Pay the extra $ and go somewhere else!

Richard and Gracie were very patient and nice. We had a wonderful 2 hour ride through the forest and across a ridge and down through the forest again.the scenery was beautiful. Our guide Gracie was very helpful and a lot of fun.the horses were gentle and easy to ride.

The two guides our group had were so knowledgeable about things around town. They made the ride fun and easy and helped with everything. They made sure everyone was in the saddle and that the horses behaved. The hour trail was a nice pace and good trail.

We had a great time today. Slim took good care of us by making sure we had an enjoyable ride and had lots of information about the sites.

Our family trip wouldn’t have been complete without stopping at the A OK Corral. Good old horseback riding in Hoback, Wyoming. Beautiful views of the country. It had rained for quite a few days prior to our ride. However, it was still a gorgeous morning. Our guide, Slim was outstanding. This was our first time taking our 6 and 10 year old riding. I wouldn’t want any other guide, taking us up the mountain. Slim, was extremely caring, patience and reassuring to my girls and of course me.... as we were riding. My 6 year old was being pulled by Slim and his horse. My 10 year old was riding by herself. There where times when she was nervous, but Slim was so caring and just an outstanding guide / cowboy! If you’re ever in the area, please don’t miss out on this great adventure. We’ll be back!!! Thanks again Slim and the entire staff at A Ok Corral.

I would go every time I have a daughter that was scared to get on the horse, they got her on and treated her awesome, people that work there the guide was amazing the horses were amazing I am so glad that we chose ok corral will be telling everyone to go here.

Lack of communication and perfessionalism in regards to the staff. When I emailed them to express my concern for how our ride was handled (our leader lost control of his horse and was whipping and cussing at him infront of everyone. As well as a few other things), I got a snarky reply about how horses are animals and at the end of the day have a mind of their own. No duh! Would not recommend.
