Our grandchildren have gone to ABC Academy for over 7 years. Tonight our granddaughter graduated from the Academy to start school in the fall. She is more then ready for school. They have encouraged her to grow in education and social skills. We have witnessed her blossoming into a nice quiet young lady. They have taken the time to teach her basic skills. But also Spanish and sign language. I would easily recommend this preschool to anyone looking for a great beginning to an education.

Our Two children have been going to ABC Academy since they were each 6 weeks old, my oldest is 7 and my youngest is 16 months. We love ABC Academy because the teachers care for my children as if they were their own. The teachers see them in the hallway and stop and talk to them, they ask questions about my sons’ day when he gets off the bus. One of the best parts of my day is getting pictures of my children throughout the day on Tadpoles. It allows for me to see how they are doing in their classrooms when I am unable to actually see them.

ABC Academy is a great workplace to work where I am available to work with young preschool children in the classroom. I know I have full support from my co-workers as well as giving me great positive feedback and advices to help me be more successful in the classroom. I love watching the children learn and play in the classroom with their peers and seeing all the happy smile on their faces. There is good communication with parents, pay is good, good flexible schedules and hours, and good benefits. I have been here at ABC Academy for about 3 years now and I am gaining a lot of good experiences which is helping me to become a better preschool teacher.

I absolutely love having my daughter come to work with me, and knowing that she is safe and loved everyday. The staff are friendly, loving, safe, and keep communication open with you daily. I love that the staff have mask on, greet the children every day, know each childs name, and overall treat you like family. ABC is not only a daycare but a learning center, my child has learned so much since starting at ABC, and I cannot wait to see whats next to come while growing with ABC academy. Thank you infant room for loving my baby and making her first couple of months not easy on me, but her as well!

My son has been going to ABC Academy on Lansing Ave. since he was six weeks old. He is now three years old and our family could not be happier with the care and education he has received and continues to receive. One of the best parts of mine and my husband’s day is getting pictures of our son throughout the day. It reassures us that he is doing well and having fun. He started learning sign language in the infant room which was extremely helpful for communicating his wants and needs before he could talk. As he worked his way through the classrooms, he learned shapes, numbers and counting, and he could correctly identify all letters of the alphabet when he was two years old. The teachers are always extremely encouraging and supportive and very helpful when we have questions or concerns. There is no doubt in my mind that our son will be prepared for kindergarten in the next couple years, thanks to ABC Academy.

I have been at ABC Academy for over 3 years. Both of my children have grown leaps and bounds while at ABC Academy. They helped me catch my child’s underlying gross motor issues from filling out the ASQ’s resulting in getting my child help to outgrow them even before he starts school. I love that my children enjoy going to school and getting fully ready for when they attend Kindergarten!

I started working at ABC Academy in 2016 as a GSRP aide. With the trainings and support from the Administration team, I was then promoted to Lead Tuition Teacher. With further support of my Executive Directors along with upper Management and continuing trainings I was promoted to Associate GSRP Teacher then Promoted to Director. I have been with ABC Academy for almost 5 years now. They offer trainings, and support for individuals to earn their CDA. They are a fun company to work for, and willing to offer support through trainings and guidance to help every person grow professionally.

As an employee of this company, I can honestly say that the teachers care so much about the children who attend. They work hard to create fun and exciting lesson plans that educate the children in their care. However, the work environment could use improvement. In-house management does their best to boost morale and take care of their employees but the company has made it clear that everyone is expendable. They do not respect their employees, they dont honor the contracts that both parties sign, and at any moment, your head is on a chopping block. When you join the company, you are constantly confused because they do not know how to make their expectations clear from the beginning. The administrators wait to address issues until the very last second so you are blindsided by concerns without any time to fix them or make adjustments. Instead of reaching out to employees when there is a problem or question, the administration just changes things to do whats best for them without considering what is best for the employee. This company has taken protecting itself to a whole new level and made it clear that its company first, employees second. I wish there was more mutual respect and better communication.

I have been employed with ABC Academy for over 14 years and it is a great place to work. Staff are positive, caring and energetic. Teamwork is always a main priority. All of the teachers really care about their students education and growth, mentally, physically and emotionally. We use the HighScope curriculum, in which the children learn by doing. Teachers base their lesson plans around the childs interest and, we use COR Advantage to assess children from birth to kindergarten. Management is very supportive and let you know that you are appreciated. I love my career as a teacher, because the children make my heart happy and I love to watch them grow and succeed.

I have worked for ABC Academy for 2.5 years and have never worked for a company like this one that helps an employee grow as the given career they offer their employees which is teaching in early childcare. I am so grateful for the trainings, hands on learning and working, and helping families in every situation we offer and more. I have learned patience, and gained confidence and strength with this job then with any other job I have had bar none. Even through the current pandemic we are all experiencing I am so grateful and appreciative of Abc for the safety and precautions they have in place for us employees and our families we serve. Would recommend anyone looking to grow as a preK or preschool teacher to come to ABC ACademy.

I dont know what I would do without the people are ABC child care. They are always there with amazing smiles and helpful words. My kids absolutely love heading to school every day.

Because of a job change I have had to go to work very early. ABCs early hours have made it possible, thank you. Even when I drop off early the staff is cheerful and takes great care of my little one.

At the end of the day my daughter doesnt want to leave, she has had that much fun and learning everyday. I have never seen another place as great as this one.

My kids have gotten old enough so with very sad goodbye I will need to leave ABC. If it wasnt for that I would never leave, I love the program that much.
