My wife and I did a private tour with Tyler, and it stands out as one of the best vacation activities we’ve ever experienced. This part of the country is remarkably special, and the Teton Science Schools tour would be great in any season. Here toward the end of winter, we were able to see wolves, coyotes, bison, moose, elk, big horned sheep, bald eagles, ruffed grouse, shrike, and other birds. The whole experience was enhanced by having had Tyler as our guide. Tyler is a wonderful person and a hugely talented guide. He is knowledgeable, charismatic, and engaging. He also has a real knack for making you feel comfortable and well looked after for the whole day. We look forward to taking a tour with him again in the future, and recommend Tyler and the Teton Science Schools to anyone in the Jackson Hole area.

We booked a full day tour with TSS for our wedding anniversary. Miles was our guide and I cannot say enough great things about this young man. He is from the area and knew exactly where to go to find the best places to photograph numerous animals and breath-taking views of the mountains and surrounding areas. He was very knowledgeable and humorous at the same time. Lunch was very good and his ability to spot wildlife in the distance was incredible. Miles even went so far as to purchase some flowers for my wife to celebrate our anniversary with us. This tour was well worth the time and money. I plan on bringing my boys next time so that they can take part in this enriching experience.

We took a private tour of Yellowstone, leaving from Teton village. Our tour guide was Miles, who was terrific. He knew ALOT about EVERYTHING! Our tour consisted of my three kids aged from 7-15, and included my parents who are in their early 70s and he was able to relate to everyone. We drove through Grand Teton and then through the lower loop of Yellowstone, making multiple stops along the way, with Miles explaining everything along the way. Even the lunch was great. It was a very long day, but one of the highlights of our trip. I would definitely recommend TSS and Miles!

Miles met us with an amazing spirit, a wealth of ideas, and coffee- teenagers got hot chocolate and we were off at 6am. We booked the Yellowstone Hiking Tour with TSS because I knew from experience that the caliber of their programming was beyond compare. Miles encapsulated everything that TSS stands for; learning through experiencing, nurturing curiosity through discourse while hearing multiple perspectives, and discovering the macro and micro of the natural world around you. Miles is a natural teacher. His ability to engage the 14 and 16 yo, and the 52 and 55 yo was impressive. We were awed by his wealth of knowledge (biology, botany, geology, geography, history, and ‘geothermalogy’), but even more awed by the unassuming and humble delivery of that information. We will return for every trip they offer; outstanding in every way. Thank you, Miles. We learned and enjoyed more than you know.Another TSS tenet that Miles passed on to us, was that of continuous education. He recommended several podcasts about local issues to help further our understanding of the greater Yellowstone ecosystem.

Tyler was an incredible tour guide. He found us plenty of wildlife to glass and even gave us helpful tips for the rest of our stay in Wyoming. Would love to go to Yellowstone with him.

Our day tour with Kate was fantastic. She was knowledgeable about the area and wildlife and kept us safe and comfortable all day. She carefully managed our expectations for sightings, told stories, and taught us about the ecosystem-- and we did see pretty much everything! A bear, 4 moose, a fox, lots pronghorn, fantastic birds, a lake that drains both east and west, and lots more. Thank you Kate and TSS!

We had a great time on our snowcoach tour of Yellowstone National Park. The park itself is of course incredible for many many reasons, and the Teton Science School did a fantastic job of highlighting some of the best features the park has to offer. The vehicles were cool. Our guide John was super knowledgeable, very friendly, and fun. On the trip we saw the canyon, waterfall, lakes, geyser basins, Old Faithful, and bison! We learned a lot about the park, both its history and how the ecosystems work today. We saw incredible sights and made great memories. TSS provides a wonderful tour and we highly recommend for your Yellowstone experience.

Recently, a number of bloggers got a private tour by Sean Beckett of the area near the Grand Tetons and some of Yellowstone. I couldnt believe how far away from the crowds Sean managed to take us. We would arrive at a destination and I would be certain that wed be stuck fighting for position among the throngs of bus tourists. But without fail, Sean would take us down a little path and wed be away from it all. It was an amazing experience. I would recommend anyone Sean and his trip to anyone.

Went there for a fifth grade field trip a year or two ago and stayed there for several days. Fun lessons, really friendly staff, neat hikes in the tetons almost every day and amazing food! They even give you a cool TSS Nalgene 32oz water bottle. I use it a lot. Overall great place to learn about nature n stuff, super fun experience.
