I went here when I was little as well and I do not recommend it. A teacher hit me once and the staff just were pretty rude.

Today was the first and most likely last day that my 4 year old daughter will attend here. My wife arrived at 7:15 am to drop off our daughter and found no one in the front area to greet them. She waited around until 7:50 am to finish paperwork and still no one up front. She finally walked our daughter into the school and found a teacher and classroom that had no idea she was coming, even though this morning was her planned starting date. When my wife returned at 4:45 pm pick her up, again there was no one at the front door. She again walked back and got our daughter and left without ANYONE challenging her as to who she was. The teacher there blatantly lied to my wife about our daughter eating well at lunch, even though she is a very picky eater and admitted to not touching any of it. After lunch, my daughter got up and returned to the classroom, again completely unattended. She got up and went to the bathroom without anyone knowing she was gone. This close to an unsecured entrance makes me very nervous. Not only was there no one there to question people coming/going, but there was also no one to notice if a child wondered off out the front door. That is an awful lot of strikes when we are talking about the well-being of a child

When we first discovered Creative Kids Learning Center, we were impressed with how affordable the rates were compared to other center-based daycare options. We thought it almost too good to be true and lined up a tour. Our observations during that tour have not changed after having our boys (ages 5 and 2) in their care for the past three months. Were still impressed with the bang for the buck and are pleased with the care our boys are receiving. The building is nothing fancy; however, it has everything thats needed. With an observant eye, its easy to see that the money is put into hiring quality staff and providing meals and supplies - exactly where youd want to see the money placed to best benefit the kiddos. This means the building may look a little older than some of the other centers in the area. However, its clean, well kept, and safe. One of my boys is a social butterfly; the other approaches new situations nervously. After only three months at Creative Kids, youd never guess this was a new daycare situation for them. Both of my boys adore their teachers. Likewise, their teachers have already invested in my children. My 2 year olds speech delays have notably improved. His teacher has been GREAT about coordinating our potty training efforts. Our 5 year old has nearly completed the kindergarten prep checklist, with five months left before he starts school. Hes already learning how to sit and focus on small group tasks (no small feat for our busy boy).My only minor concern - and it pales in comparison to my other impressions - is that the center still appears to be adjusting to its school-age services offerings. They now offer before-school care for a small group of elementary kids and transport them to school later in the morning. It appears this may be a newer service, as theyre still finding their footing with the morning routine and the combination of school-aged kids and preschoolers. Given the competence theyve shown in other areas, Im confident theyre working things out.Overall, were extremely pleased for the value were receiving. The opportunity for center-based daycare at home-based daycare prices is worth the tour to see the center for yourself. Were glad we did!

The people are genuine caring people. The kids and staff get along well and they have taught basic pre school requirements necessary for kindergarten. I believe they have the kids best interest in mind.

If I could ZERO STARS I would! For the past 3-4months my 2ys old has been treated horribly. The 2yr old class has a very high turn over rate! They seem only hire young girla who have NO clue about childcare. How do I continue to pick my kid up in a soaken dripping wet pull up ans NOTHING is NEVER done about it! Just one of the few things. Ive tried to be patient. And work with these people. But I see Ill just have to remove my kid from this facility. I REPEAT DO NOT SEND YOUR KID HERE! KEEP RUNNING FOR DEAR LIFE!!

This place is horrible, when I was little this place gave me nightmares, I didn’t even get fed every day. They even rapped a rope around a kid and pulled him across the room for doing something that wasn’t even worth doing that to the little boy. One day they didn’t feed me because I did something that made them not wanting to give me food. So I do not recommend to take ur kid here.

-----I dont know what it is those other parents had a problem with, but people will ALWAYS find something wrong with a facility just because theyre pessimists. This place is GREAT. Heres my chapter book on this awesome place:-----My children, Valerie and Killian, have been going to Creative Kids (in Tracy, MO, right next to Platte City) for almost a year now. At first, I was a bit speculative because the prices were so affordable. But to my absolute amazement, it was the most amazing daycare I could have asked for. Miss Cindy and Miss Becky are the sweetest, kindest teachers I could have imagined. The entire staff treated my babies like they were their own, and treated me, as the parent, like a human being -- and not like a money tree. My kids have loved their time at Creative Kids. So here are a few things about the daycare that have really stood out:-----The Teachers/Staff: They are nothing short of amazing. The turnover is surprising low for a daycare center, so the kids can really get to know their teachers. The staff is nice (especially Kim and Tina at the main location) and accommodating to financial needs. The teachers, as said earlier, are wonderful. I didnt have much interaction with the infant room as my children are pre-school age, but the pre-school classrooms were magnificent. Miss Becky and Miss Cindy were like extended parents to my kids, and treated them as if they were their own.-----The Facility: Clean and organized! I remember viewing a few daycares in the Northland (closer to my work) but they were always loud and smelled like pee. I like CK because its quaint and relate-able. Its always clean and smells like nothingness.-----Learning Time: My son was two, almost three, when he started here. His speech was pretty delayed and he was no where near potty trained. He was also an extremely picky eater. Within the first two weeks, he was singing his ABCs and was speaking with such enunciation people who didnt even know him could understand what he was saying. Within the first two months, he was started the potty training process. And lastly, hes now eating like a big boy and trying all sorts of different, healthy foods (well get to their meals in a few sentences). My daughter (4 when she started), who was already advanced, caught on to Spanish counting immediately, and was able to identify AND write all the letters of the alphabet within a few weeks. To say the least, there are some darn good teachers in there who know what theyre doing when it comes to these kids educations.-----Mealtime: The basics. They give a very broad range of food. I think they have sample menu on their website. One downfall is youre unable to bring any food to the daycare. But obviously if there are dietary needs those are met. They feed the kids breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Breakfast is done being served at 8:30am, so get them in early. lol.-----Other kids/parents: The other kids are exactly what youd expect at a daycare. Theres always going to be the, er, not-so-good kids, but I will say its rare to walk in and see a child upset/crying/in time out. They have an awesome rewards program that keep the kids on their toes. Weve actually incorporated a similar system into our home. The parents are also nice. There are a few military parents (including my husband) that are from either Leavenworth or Rosecrans, and a few police parents. Weve gone to a couple birthday parties, and have nothing negative to say. :)------Overall, this is an amazing facility. If you are thinking about sending your child here, PLEASE ask the front desk for my number so I can speak with you directly (mostly so you know Im not a robot). My words here cannot fully express the awesomeness of this daycare. Plus, the prices are great!

Horrible place for children. Staff was rude and kids were stuffed into a building that was rundown and overcrowded. This is no place to leave your child
