Rockhurst has a beautiful campus in Kansas City. It is a smaller college campus and it is located close to the Plaza. Although I havent personally taken classes, I have been told it is a good experience. They are partnering with St Lukes for the nursing program. The security officers that Ive encountered have been super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend checking out this college.

If you are a parent thinking of sending your kid here, or a student thinking about attending….DON’T!!Unless you are a parent that likes getting calls once a week that they just heard gunshots or someone they knew was robbed or had their car broken into. Or if you’re a student that doesn’t want to leave campus without wearing a bulletproof vest. They might as well pick this place up and drop it in the middle of Baghdad. Your kid would probably safer.Oh and good luck hoping the KCPD would ever patrol the area around this place and risk their lives. Lol! They even know to stay away.

Great place to walk my dog. Security is very present. The staff that Ive met are very decent. And some of the students Ive met are very decent, kind, and just seemingly okay. The campus itself is laid out very nice. Also their architect is interesting as well as their landscaping. My understanding is that they offer a great business degree. Five Star

God awful school. They try to force religion down your throat even though they try to advertise as an open school. Outdated dorms along with insane prices. The staff here are unhelpful and you’ll be lucky if they’ll answer the phone for you. Transferring out of here is a nightmare they try to charge you $650 for leaving the university. I don’t recommend anyone ever come here.

Rockhurst University - what an amazing educational institution! As my alma mater now, I can’t say enough about the professors, the educational opportunities, lifelong friendships, and overall life-enhancing experience. The School Core values say it all... finding God in all things, Magis, wisdom, cura personalis (care for the whole person), contemplation in action, reflection and discernment.

I went to RU and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I commend Rockhurst for keeping their alumni engaged and active and for how they protect and care about the neighborhood that surrounds the campus. The leadership of Father Curran is forward-thinking and inclusive. I am proud to be part of the RU community.

Many of my professors didn’t take me seriously because I didn’t follow their beliefs. In one of their classes I failed because, “since you didn’t grow up in a catholic family you’ll never get it.” I was trying as hard as I could, SI’s, tutors, everything, but as soon as the professor knew I was atheist I felt extremely ostracized, not only from the student body but from the staff as well. Don’t go here.

My wife attended Rockhurst for her Masters degree and loved every minute of her time there. We have been back for Alumni events and love seeing the campus and Universitys reputation continue to grow in stature.

Rockhurst the home away from home. Founded in the Jesuit Tradition, Rockhurst University advances the student intellectual knowledge inside and outside the classroom with leadership positions and extra-circular activities. Rockhurst teachers know you by name instead of a number which means more hands on learning.

Graduate from here with a degree in global studies. Awesome experience. Small class sizes and very personal teachers; always open and available to help.

Now that Ive paid the tuition and its all over, I can be frank. This is not the place to go for your education. They claim to be a Catholic college but they are not holding to Godly values. While a few classes had great teachers, the vast majority did not and were more concerned with their political agendas than the students learning. The absolute worst thing is the staff which claims to help students, but in reality hinders them from the most basic needs. Tax papers, grant statements, you name it, you wont see it for a few weeks. Most importantly, know where your red phones are. Crime is rampant in the area and while attending, there were a few students held hostage in their townhouse by an armed man who had escaped custody. I thank God that I wasnt one of them.

I graduated in 1976 with a BA in Economics and 96 with a MBA. I also received the Pro Meritus Award for my humanitarian projects in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. Best education I could ever receive ! Thank you Father Denzer!

Professors are frauds here. This is a democrat indoctrinated institution. Speaking differently out loud will result in triggered leftists attacking verbally with no order. We are moving to Texas thank God.
