The area, the price, the professionalism from Sensei and most important, the kids are having fun and they are happy. Please check this place out, it doesn’t cost anything.

My boys Anthony and William have attended Champions Karate for almost one year and we all love it! We initially enrolled them to be active but received way more benefits. The dojo instills discipline, respect of others and even host amazing parents night out! Our boys are definitely at the perfect dojo and I’m more than sure your children will be too.

Great, family oriented Karate school! My child has been going for a few months and loves it. Watching him earn his stripes (or not when hes a little too rowdy) is amazing. I love being able to get involved in his training as well. So much fun for the whole family!

So far so good!! My 4 year old had a case of cabin fever and selective hearing of the likes of which I have never seen before.Maybe this will help, I approve of the fundamentals and it only took the Sensei one time to tell him to stop running on the mat. On a roll so far!

Enrolled my 5yr old daughter about 1 month ago. She has not returned to school yet but will be in the Fall. I wanted to enroll her in a program that would help her self discipline, focus, ability to listen to authority, coordination, and help control her temper. Sensei Christian has provided all of this and more! We saw a difference in our daughter in just a few classes and she continues to grow. She looks forward to each class with excitement. I think I love most that Sensei Christian makes the kids earn their belts and goals. If they do not do their best they do not get rewarded (AKA no participation trophies). A refreshing program in todays day and age. So happy we found Champions Karate!!

We absolutely love Champions Karate! Sensei Cristian makes classes fun and engaging. The dojo instills great values and reinforces discipline and respect for others. We especially like that the children (like our son who just turned 5) have to earn their stripes. A stripe is not handed out every class just for showing up and only 1 child receives a special sticker at the end of each class. The dojo is very clean and parents are able to comfortably sit and watch their children progress each class. We are just so happy we decided to enroll our son. He really looks forward to his classes!

If your looking for a fun activity that simultaneously teaches your child discipline and to care for others this is the place ! Our two sons have had enormous benefits from going to Champions Karate ! The Sensei really cares about these kids and is teaching them so much more than just Karate !

My son has been a student at Champions Karate for 7 years. Hes gone from a shy little boy with a white belt to a confident young man who has earned his black belt. Sensei Cristian is an amazing, patient teacher. He genuinely cares about his students, not just their karate progression, but their whole being. My grandson Tommy has come a long way with his ADHD and Sensei Christian is someone he listens to and his ADHD is under control while in class. Not sure how the Sensei does it but he calms his students yet motivates them at the same time. Definitely recommend this school!

My encounter with Champions Karate Academy is stupendous. My sons are both State Champions and my oldest is currently a proud black belt. I have learned from this school the true meaning of martial arts, it is resiliency. The ability to take control and responsibility over one’s life and results. To never blame or shed responsibility for personal actions or emotions. To be able to take whatever happens in life and turn it in to a positive lesson or an advantage. Sensei Lopez is not only training the body but the mind as well. During and after each class, he takes the time to discuss subjects related to life with students. Respect, discipline, self-control are the key components of his teaching method. On a monthly basis, each student will go home with a magazine to read, color and answer questions, throughout the month the theme of the magazine will be discussed after class. My daughter just completed her black belt journey with Champions Karate. I would like to thank Sensei Cristian. He is a great instructor in his craft and revered by his students. His demeanor with them remains cool, calm and collective. I know that is one major reason that my daughter was able to stay with this for so long. Senseis personality as a teacher meshed well with hers as a student and that meant a lot to her. We have really enjoyed his diligent structure in pushing her along in this four plus year journey. I scheduled an appointment for my son, I drove 30mins out during rush hour just to receive a text 10 mins before I walk-in stating the appointment is canceled. He didnt even have the decency to call to cancel. Very unprofessional. I don’t recommend anyone here. I had to rush out of work to pick up my son for a blank trip.

My daughters and I have been taking karate here now for over 2 years. I have noticed a huge improvement on how they present themselves and the confidence they have. Sensei Cristian has not only helped them but has helped me to fall in love with the sport again. Everyone here makes you feel like family. I am so glad that we signed up to be part of this amazing school.

My kids and I have been going here for over a year now.. From the second we walked through the door and watched how Sensei interacted with his students, we knew this was the right place. Not only did we sign up for Karate classes but we also joined his competition team. The kids love it! We travel all over the state competing in tournaments. My oldest son was state champion in his first year and my youngest son never gave up and finally won his first tournament last month to start the new season off...The parents are all friendly and the students help out each other. Classes for all ages and levels..I would highly recommend coming here...

We love Champions Karate Academy! My son and daughter started around 6 months ago. Sensei Cristian is phenomenal. He has already helped my daughter gain confidence, not only in her classes with him but it also shows at school. My son is activity working on his patience. He’s come a long way and the example and encouragement he receives from Sensei Cristian is above the rest. We had tried another martial arts class in the area prior to finding Champions Karate Academy and neither of my kids would ever leave the class happy. Now, at Champions, they never want to leave and are always smiling. It’s easy to recommend Champions Karate Academy, there is no better place in the area for martial arts.

Was more than amazed with this school. I searched the area for an activity to help my daughter with her behavior issues. She just entered her 2nd year with Sensei Cristian and the changes in her make me super happy.

Weve been with Champions Karate Academy for 7 months now and couldnt be happier. Our daughter has enjoyed very much. Sensei Cristian invited her to join the competition team within a couple of weeks of starting classes. Everyone from Sensei Cristian and Ana to all the kids and dojo parents have been so nice! There is certainly a sense of family here - we are feeling it now especially since the 2020 competition circuit has started.Sensei has such a great demeanor with kids - hes patient and just the right mix of stern and fun. He infuses character building into the program which is phenomenal with the younger kids! My daughters growth in confidence and quick improvement is a testament to what she gets from this school.

My kids attend this school since January 2016, they absolutely love Sensei Christian. He has an amazing approach to children, apart from martial arts he teaches them respect to others and good behavior. He knows when to be serious and when to laugh. I truly recommend this school, lessons are really fun and educational.

Having taking karate classes since right after Thanksgiving so about 3 months. Love the classes. Paid for one of the specials in advance and got a free birthday party period had the party yesterday was the most amazing party all of my daughters friends said it was much better than any of the other kids places to go. I highly recommend in every way shape and form for you to sign your children up for karate classes here it teaches them self-discipline self-respect respect for others respect for their parents confidence interest rings out of strength and so much more than just self-defense period and its an amazing place for a birthday party.have continued to take classes for 3 years now and am at a brown belt and love this school

My 10 year old son is having a great experience at Champions Karate! He always enjoys each class and not only has fun, but is learning great life lessons and strategies for dealing with everyday situations. Sensei Christian is attentive to each student and teaches in a kind and positive manner!

Every class is fun and challenging at the same time. Sensi doesnt rush people and helps each of us do his/her best. And the games at the end of each class are WOW!! (Direct from the mouth of the ten year old student. Who knows better??)

My 5 year old loves Champions Karate Academy. Really geared towards kids rather than being a studio that focuses on adults and happens to have some kids classes. Christian is great with the kids!

His curriculum includes character building such as self discipline, personal responsibility and a number of other social skills. My daughter has been coming here for a month now and absolutely loves it! She even comes home afterwards and doesn’t want to stop practicing. I started my daughter out in champions karate for 6 wks with a great price to see if she likes it. Well i have to say this was the best thing ever happened to her and for me as well. Sensei Cristian is an amazing teacher with new techniques every class she is always learning something new. Even though my daughter is small Sensei Cristian has patience with her this is why i love this academy. I personally recommend this for all children and adults. 💙

I can not say enough good things about Champions Karate Academy. My 8 year old daughter absolutely loves attending class and Sensai Cristian is awesome with her and all the children. Sensai Cristian makes class fun and keeps all the children engaged. He is very patient will his students and the passion he has for teaching can not go unnoticed. We really feel like a part of the family in Champions Karate Academy, so much so that we celebrated my daughters birthday party here and her cousins. I saw how much fun my daughter was having that I also became a member in the adult class. Now we both get a good workout and get some bonding time all while learning some self defense.

Champions Karate Academy is amazing! Sensei Cristian came into our familys life when he came and completed a fundraiser for our 8 year old daughters school. She fell in love with Karate and when we saw how much she enjoyed it we signed her up! Our 5 year old son enjoyed watching his sister practice karate and wanted to join in the fun too! Shortly after my son was singed up my husband and I joined them! Champions has become part of our family and our life! Sensei Cristian is fantastic with our children and for our adult class he gives us great workouts!! We love going to Karate and are there at least four times a week!

Came to this school based on previous reviews and my 8 y/o daughters desire to learn martial arts. After a few weeks I decided to register her also in private classes and WOW... the results were AMAZING. She is in great shape and more focus than ever... 18 months later she is still going strong and more demtermined than ever to get her Black Belt! Sensei Cristian is her favortie role model... Excellent school for self defence. Excellent for building self confidence self discipline. Thank you Sensei for all you do for the kids at your dojo. My son has now been a student here between 4 and 5 years. He was very nervous when he first started, and still gets nervous when testing time comes. But he was part of the competition team and his first year on the team he placed 3rd in all but 2 competitions.Sense Cristian is very good with all his students. He pushes them further and further so the students see their own abilities.I highly recommend Champions Karate and Sensei Cristian if you want your child to learn the art of Martial Arts.

Champions Karate is definitely the place to take your child if you are geared towards building your childs self esteem, confidence, physical and mental strength and a successful future. My daughter has been a student of Sensei Christians for quite some time and her attitude and approach towards school and her everyday activities had improved drastically from the shy timid little girl to the brave and ambitious young lady. She has such an increase in her drive and physical and mental awareness due to the fact that they are allowed to challenge themselves everyday. Here’s another edit to the edit I posted last year.First of all, I’ve been training at this dojo for almost 2 years now my self. I lost my gut, gained more confidence, and best of all train with my daughter. Sensei Cristian runs a clean school. He is dedicated to all his students from the new white belts, all the way to the black belts that continue to train, even after they reached their goals. I feel like family here! Sensei Cristian resume is remarkable. He has trained multiple state champions! What can I say that hasn’t been said???? Give this place a chance you won’t regret it! Great place, great teaching, soooo much more then just self defense. Sensei took a shy kid with little confidence or direction and inspired him to not only set goals but gave him the wil to reach them.So effective is his teaching style my 10 year old son took 2nd in Nationals last year.

Good morning, Sensai Cristian.Just wanted to let you know CJ accomplished one of the goals he set on his goal sheet - he received a perfect score on his math test yesterday. He was very happy and excited to color in his first star. I also notice he is working toward his other goals as well. Most of the things listed are things he should be doing any way, but setting them as goals and looking at them hanging on the fridge is motivating him to accomplish them.
