I am confused about a couple of the posts here. They sound like disgruntled employees or folks that were fired. If you are no longer involved with the school, how do you know it is so bad? What do you actually know about the school year and what the quality of the education is now? I am hearing some sour grapes being slung on this forum. Facts are always welcomed and would serve us all better. Anyone who doesnt take truth seriously in small matters cannot be trusted in large ones either. Albert Einstein. I do have first hand knowledge and I am glad that such a fine school exists. I am impressed.

This school is amazing! Personally, I attend this school and the staff are really nice and care about the students. The mentors are all kind and very good! I highly recommend enrolling in this school. It’s very engaging and you can connect with your peers with no judgement, etc. The curriculum is all grade-appropriate and a bit challenging but not difficult. Other online schools I have attended are definitely not like this one, this school is exceptionally the best school I’ve ever been to!

LANV is a horrible school, they should not be receiving state funding. In fact, I don’t believe they should even have their doors open. As a student, I was judged for my non-LDS beliefs and gaslighted for my political ideologies that didn’t “fit” the mold. I spent five years in the school- even becoming a student ambassador for two of those years in an attempt to prove myself in such a judgmental environment - and it was never enough. The condemnation I received from the LANV staff, who I looked up to at the time, took a toll on my mental health. The school prides themselves on teaching students “how to think rather than what to think”, yet my whole experience consisted of being manipulated into believe in one worldview. 12/10 would not recommend.

My daughter is in her second year of LANV. We love it! The teachers are engaging and clearly care about their students. The curriculum is very grade appropriate and challenging. I highly recommend this program to every student who desires a stellar education.

Entirely Mormon school, should not be a public charter, has a definite religious affiliation. Used to have a good curriculum, but then split with it and now would not recommend it at all. Do not attend this school, and you will be harshly judged if youre not LDS and feel like an outsider. 0/10. Ridiculous that theyre accepting public funding, no separation from the church.

This school is absolutely a mess. The administration, Executive Director, has no idea what he is doing. He’s leading this school down the wrong path. If I could rate this lower I would.

Was good. They decided to split with Williamsburg Learning and become independent. Our son and daughter attended the school for 4 years, but now that they are changing (and our son graduated), we have decided to unenroll our daughter.I don’t recommend this school.

The teachers and faculty are very personable. The small student count makes for a much more one-on-one experience.
